I actually have connected to the Poison Spyder Mesa Trail via Golden Spike, and there were no such warning signs at the time (2010). It's nice to see that you put safety messages in your videos. Too many people let their egos get them into trouble! Great video, as always.

Thanks for the comments. We had watched other videos on the trail before our trip, but none of them expressed how technical this trail can be. One more Moab video coming soon! Thanks for watching as always.

Yeah, this trail took a lot longer to ride than we anticipated.

that must be a new sign, I've never seen it before. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't see it as I would have had to turn around because I'd have been shaking in my boots to hard to continue.

Funny one. That trail was exhausting. I see now why people don't connect to the Poison Spider via the Golden Spike trail. Glad you found the video. Did you catch the other ones? I still have one more to release in the coming weeks.

I've went poison spider-golden spike-gold bar several times, but not the other way. I think that is partially due to when you do the vehicle shuttle there is way more parking at the gemini bridges trail head. If you are really bored you find a few vids of that adventure on my channel

@@stinkweed23 Deward! How the hell are you? We've done the same ride twice on atv's, and now twice on side by sides. (Polaris General and Kawasaki KRX) Sooooo much easier in a Side x Side! Where Eagles Dare is a great little side trail, but probably not a good idea on an atv. A few long, seriously steep climbs with a good pucker factor. :)

@@boblaws9851 is this x2, never knew your last name. eagles dare can really get the pucker factor going on the atv, especially that hill you go up then drop down to the top of boot legger canyon

@@stinkweed23 Yup, that's me. Yeah, that first climb when you come up out of the wash was an attention getter, but that's nothing compared to that last big climb you are talking about. That drop is pretty impressive as well, but I will go down most anything with no problem, especially when it has a nice run out at the bottom like that one has. Awesome little side trail with the view of the Corona arch at the overlook. About ready to take the atv out there again sometime. The side x side really takes the challenge out of most of the trails, especially now in the KRX.
