Looks great to me. I don't understand what people don't like about it. It's walking distance to the CBD, The Rocks art precinct and north Sydney. Lots of green space and access to the water. It's public, people friendly and well designed.
Dear old man, ... Your not understanding has got nothing to do with the building, it is to do with yourself; you haven't understood the wish-fulfilling desire of the other "people", you mention. Understanding them is the way to go, to solve your problem of not understanding what people don't like about the building; which, by then, you won't really be interested in knowing. Have A Nice Day ! Hey Eric old son. you're right no error, it IS a great place, the place is alive and buzzing.. but not still finished. Barangaroo point is a fantastic open space headland with a very clever space underneath. Search Barangaroo Wynyard walk on YT and see for yourself.
You prolly dont care but if you guys are bored like me atm you can watch all the new series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few months xD
Wow, somehow RUclips's algorithm recommended this video to me today in 2022. It's amazing that today's Barangaroo is exactly the same as it was designed 7 years ago.
most of it is complete, just the central section, which is the cultural part and has a metro station and the apartments here. Those will be completed in 2024. It's one of the best precincts in australia and also completly carbon neutral
That thing is massive , probably about time sydney grew massive , this has probably been shelved though due to badly run Australian management of things
Michael I’m guessing that you haven’t been to Barangaroo recently. It’s substantially as shown in this video. The very tall casino tower has just reached its maximum height. I think the apartment building next to it has to be built/completed yet, but I was generally impressed by how close this video that was done five years ago matches up with the current Barangaroo. I suggest you go to Barangaroo and take a walk around to restore your faith in Australian management and design. It is really quite impressive.
There got stiff all over .they got riger morits. that's disabled alright haha. But don't freak out AnnieBaby, they are CGA, that means they are compurerised cartoons... anyway even if they arn't real but if they were, don't worry the elevator is there and is real and it is spectacular ..take a ride on the uplifting cables and counterweights of this wonderful world and embrace the joy in the sun in sunny Sydney and Wynyard station an don't bee a sour puss miseryguts... peace sista.
its mainly a hotel, first of all. Central barangaroo will have an outdoor theatre, do your research. And this is one of the best public spaces, honestly
@@lawrencewei3583 Unless you're a Chinese high roller - you won't be going there. It is going to be 6 stars. Sydney desperately needs real theatres, not outdoor amphitheatres for trashy music concerts. Barangaroo is cultureless - like all new Australian developments. More shops and restaurants and hideous apartment blocks.
We don’t need more culture or old fashioned theatres, people like ur self can move out in the country please Sydney needs a continual flow of new urban development
Once Sydney had individual shops and department stores, book stores, arcades and not chain stores - now every suburb is the same, every building a glass and concrete box. Unless you can gamble tens of thousands a night forget about the casino - it's 6 stars, and most of us can't afford 5 stars! The rest is overpriced food and dress shops. Trendy, as someone called it, must be very dull! No theatre, no cinema, no bookshops ,,,

@Gustavo Conrad Definitely, I have been watching on Instaflixxer for years myself =)
I walked through here on Sunday and this simulation is unbelievably Accurate
I work in Barangaroo and it’s the nicest area in the world and not even half of this is done yet. Very trendy and hip.

Update 28-12-2020: the new crown Sydney is completed after 4.2 years of hard work
Thank You )
Please, please, please tell me what program you used!
Lumion I guess
beautiful
Awesome!
Hope Crown is approved soon.
You won't be going there! The hotel is 6 stars and the casino is only for high rollers from China.

0:59 ... That disabled couple have been waiting a very long time for the elevator to come; shocking !

They're doing like Toronto- giving up all of the natural water front to developers...
Pierre00 The public has full access to the entire waterfront. Who do you want to do the developing if not the developers?
Where's the theatre Sydney desperately needs? No reason to go there except for a casino no-one can afford! Shame Sydney

@@bobbyivanovski8530 and what more soulless shopping and apartments.
Who else lives in Sydney and has no interest in going there?

This animation doesn't show anything interesting, and the music can't improve it.
