Great video this works. I wanted to work in IoT. Spent 3 months posting about IoT on LinkedIn. Had a job launching an IoT product in a B2B setting and my pick of employers.
@@handleit672 www.linkedin.com/in/micah-smith-9b991733 Im not currently employing much strategy right now as im in a contact position. But the strategy I employ is to know my industry skills, have relevant references to each skill somewhere in my employment history. Then I use my skills as search keywords for articles and news about the industry to share on LinkedIn. Good luck.
Have you tried out the new carousel feature? It's seriously a great way to amp up your content and I use the constantly to highlight a new podcast interview or RUclips video.
his I am new to linked and I would like an example of a "list"post. I have done many internships and i would certainly like to expand on that in my linked posts
Hello cass thank you for all these amazing videos...im facing a problem and I could use your help with it. After accepting a job offer from a company that i had a successful interview with they gave me my starting date after a month during that time i did another interview and i got another job offer. What should i do they both game me the same offer I love working for both and im still a college student so both these jobs are internship and i don't want to be rude with one of the companies because I know I might want do work for them in the future and they are both big companies. What is the best thing to do? Thank you
Hey Cass! Thank you for your amazing videos. Very helpful. I have an ‘initial’ interview for a university advisor position that is said to last 20 minutes. Do you know how and what I should be preparing for as far as questions and answers?
I would be ready for why you are interested in the role, your work with that student population, etc. Student Affairs phone interviews tend to be as serious and prepped questions as an in person interview.
Very helpful navigating posts in Linkedin! When I post these 3 types of posts, what percentage of 1st-degree connections see my posts? I know it's dependent on the connection's algorithm but is there a number associated with how many of the connections who even see my activity? Thanks for any insight.
LinkedIn is great for any type of service provider! I recommend posting highlight reels, and doing heavy outreach to YOUR ideal audience. Although it's great to connect with other industry leaders to establish your authority you should also want to connect with those who would purchase your services. Hope that helps!
Question... You suggest bringing content from other places to LinkedIn and then adding your own take... How exactly am I supposed to do that?! LinkedIn doesn't like when you post links to external sources, so how exactly are you supposed to bring the content to LinkedIn without getting punished by the algorithm?!
Dear Cass - thank you so much for having posted this short and sweet video. All the three ideas are brilliant.
Great video! Thanks for these clear and easy to follow tips
Thanks for the video.
