    can you make a totorial on how to program a wireless pull station ?

    • @AlarmGrid
      @AlarmGrid  5 лет назад

      To my knowledge, no one makes a wireless pull station, so you'd need to connect a wired pull station to a transmitter that accepts a Normally Open device, such as a 5817CBXT. Pull stations are usually associated with commercial fire installations, which we do not support at this time. Are you aware of a wireless pull station on the market?

      @@AlarmGrid i know there are some swift wireless BG-12 series manual stations. They say they only work with full-scale panels and not a lynx touch from what i know - there is also wireless strobe/horns, but a DSC neo would work fine enough. Thanks for the info on the wireless moduals. You see in our house we would utilize manual pull stations for the commercial areas of our house such as our shop. On the lynx touch can you program that modual to fire zones without making it say "smoke detector?" or just make it say (for example) BASEMENT ZONE 1
      PULL STATION ?

      Meghan, the LynxTouch has a limited vocabulary, so it can only speak the words that are pre-programmed into its list. I don't believe pull station is in there, so it can't speak Basement Pull Station, but you can certainly program the zone to display whatever you want it to. And when it sends a notification via TC2, it should include that description.

      @@AlarmGrid Okay, thanks. And another thing - do you know if there is a modual that can be wired to a horn/strobe wirelessly? (like a wireless output to a wired siren.

      www.alarmgrid.com/faq/how-to-program-a-new-zone-on-the-honeywell-vista-20p
      Here's a link to an FAQ on programming a zone into the Vista-20P. The rules about the smoke itself will be the same for all panels (loop 1, program as a Fire Zone Type, etc.)

      The 5808W3 is both Residential Fire and Commercial Fire (UL864 Rev 9) rated when used with the proper receiver. NONE of the Lynx panels are commercial fire rated.
