- Hazard 4 has just released a modernized version of a fleece poncho, specifically designed to snap into 2020 versions of the Poncho Villa™ as an insulating layer. It can also be worn separately or even used as a blanket. Features include multiple fuzzy/loop panels (front and back, plus sleeves) for unit patches, name-tapes, morale patches, glint-tape, etc. It can also be stuffed into its own front pocket for storage. The fleece material is extra comfortable and better suited for cold conditions or wind. You can buy the Hazard 4 Fleece Poncho here: www.hazard4.co...

Black product, black background.
A+
Great Video. Stumbled across it and already have the Hazard 4 Poncho Villa and thinking about adding this to it. Thanks for sharing.
u get an actuall non waterproof poncho that is completle overprices and thinking "huh this sounds good, lets get another one"
bro is fking brainrotten
This poncho will be perfect for my Unbreakable cosplay.
Your engagement is appreciated!
In the Army Infantry, I’d have killed for this in cold and cool weather in the field. In the 101st Airborne Infantry units, you’re issues a tent (shelter half), sleeping bag, poncho, poncho liner along with other equipment. I only got to use the sleeping bag once in the field. Freezing, raining, snowing, it didn’t matter. You don’t get a shelter and/or sleeping bag. All you had to sleep on the ground with was a poncho and a poncho liner. These days they call it a woobie. Woefully inadequate for cold weather. You learn to stay frozen or at least we had to back then.
Yeah, so this is basically an expensive fleece blanket. No. Btw next time u should reconsider your decisions on background and lighting. I can't see anything.
haahahahahahahahaahh

Sorry, this was comment was in spam. Thanks! I'm working on growing the channel.
“I don’t go camping so...” ight I’ma head out
I'm really late, but I'm a tradesmen international electrical worker. I'm currently operating in ohio. It's cold and wet and I have been doing alot of outdoor services. I wear a tool belt, so my main concern is keeping my tools dry so I can keep my driver's and hardware from rusting out or any of my taps to decay over time and ponchos are the way to go. When mine comes in I'll be doing a video on my kit as this is the last piece of gear I need
Just as an FYI, this poncho is not water proof or resistant. Check out my other video on the Hazard 4 Poncho Villa. Also not water proof but will offer better protection.
@@GamesGearTech the hazard4 website says that with the fleece poncho beneath the rain poncho was functional, that you have to have both pieces. (Assumably to shape the design so that water falls off)
Oh, sorry. Didn't know you were getting both. Looking forward to your video!
@@GamesGearTech you are such an amazing informational youtuber though! I get so many ideas for gear through your channel!
Really appreciate that. I wish I had more time to get back into it. I got a new day job that's also become my night job, if you get my meaning.
I'm trying to figure our how to connect the fleece liner to the poncho like in the video....🤷🏾♂️
I can't see it. You show black item but your background also black too
Good review but why would you review it in a dark room with a black background
The problem I've run into is getting it to pack flat back into the pocket. It ends up as a ball
Roger that. I want to reach out to Hazard 4 and ask them to film a video on how to repack it nicely in its pocket.
Not good to do a video with a dark background showcasing darker product.
Yeah, I'm switching out the acoustic tiles for something else soon.
@@GamesGearTech Cool, we all learn something everyday.
I read that the snaps are for snapping into the new for 2020 pancho villa, though it will work for the older models,it just won't "snap" in
Yes, that's correct! I've got an upcoming video with the new Poncho Villa. I'm just waiting on some rain here in So Cal to test it in some weather. Thanks for watching!
@@nothingspecial1241 Sorry I've been away so long! I'll check it out. Thanks!
Great information, but hard to see
Yeah, sorry about that. I don't have enough lighting, but I'm ordering more!
Games Gear Tech Games Gear Tech No worries bro, you did a great review. Better filming gear comes with time. Matter a fact, I bought the poncho because of your video. So thank you... your set up kinda reminds me of (YT Channel: EXCESSORIZE ME) keep up the work brother!
Get on with it!
Dang it, I was hoping you would show how to refold it.
I had grand plans once upon a time to film that! I'm thinking now that I'll have to reach out to Hazard 4 and ask them to film it themselves.
@@GamesGearTech I don't have a degree in rocket science, a prerequisite for folding this. hahahaha
Agree! Haha!
Ugh a black background reviewing a black product??? Really hard to see this
Great video but literally can’t see anything
Will this fit under other ponchos? Can I put an issued poncho over this?
How does a material feel????
How waterproof is it????
How tear resistant is it?????
Material feels like regular fleece material. Soft on the skin. It's not waterproof at all since it's just fleece. Tear resistance is also low if non-existent. There's no ripstop technology. I hope this helped.
What is the thermal rating for this poncho?????
That I don't know, but if you really need to stay warm, a good winter parka will probably serve you better.
Black backdrop, black poncho = can't see squat... maybe re-shoot this?
Ah, the trials and tribulations of a first time RUclipsr. Reshooting is not a bad idea!
I want this in tan but I can’t find em
Yeah, I don't think they're making them in tan. Let me reach out to Hazard 4 and find out if it's on their roadmap.
black poncho on a black backgroung in a dark room. im so angry rn why did you do that. i cant see shit!
Oh man, I know! I'm getting more lights; I promise! Also, I'm still learning how to do this RUclips thing.
lmao getting angry over a video lame mfer
@@GamesGearTech well the video was great other wise. Probably over exaggerated .keep it up man
I appreciate that. I took down all the black tiles. Now my videos are blinding because I can't get the exposure dialed in. Haha!
why do you choose a dark background to review a dark item??????
wtf??????????
Does it have any coating like PU?
No, it does not. Acts and feels just like fleece.
They didn't learn from their last poncho and how it failed to sell? 0 waterproofing on a poncho is like a shoe without an insole.
I agree haha their last poncho was ridiculous :) but this is a liner for their new poncho, which is, in fact, waterproof. So they learned a little from the last one. Very expensive as a whole system but having a warm poncho is a cool idea, I think
So the poncho itself does not have a functional hood?
Correct. You'll need the Poncho Villa for the hood.
Poncho for my poncho 🤯
Haha! Yeah. I think the Fleece Poncho was initially designed as just a warm liner for the Poncho Villa. I wouldn't suggest wearing the Fleece alone in the rain or anything.
Black on black?
No good?
@@GamesGearTech such a good review, wish I could distinguish better...the black on black background limited visual detail...thank you sir.
I took down the black panels. Future videos will be much brighter. Thanks for watching!
@@GamesGearTech Black panels are okay for contrast depending on the featured product...just a problem in this instance. I see you are mostly a gaming reviewer, but expansion into products is appreciated.
Thanks for the feedback. This is just a hobby for me, but I really enjoy engaging with people and talking about the products we're interested in. Honestly, I don't think anyone cares for my gaming videos! Still, I try. Haha!
put the lights on or get in a lighter room 😣😣😣
Too dark.
Most useless crap i have seen beside there softshell poncho.
sure you can combine it with that one and get 2 heavy as fuck, overprices bullshit gear that is completle wet in rain
or you could, you know, get a good jacket and ditch this crap.
i rather use it at home when im on the livingroom or on the desk as a blanket.
not impressed.
