During Rebecca Rusch's journey along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, Rebecca witnessed the enormous threat of unexploded ordnance (UXO) contamination that plagues much of Southeast Asia, especially Laos. This scene cut from her documentary, Blood Road, showcases the impact and destruction the Vietnam War caused.
Rebecca was inspired to help and met with MAG, an organization that saves lives and builds futures through the removal and destruction of unexploded ordnances (UXO) remaining after conflict. In honor of her Father Stephen Rusch, Rebecca is raising donations for MAG America, so people may thrive and stay safe from the perils of UXOs.

For those who think that this problem is just in Vietnam, I recently went to the battlefield of Verdun in France. While I was there part of the battlefield was closed off because an unexplored artillery shell was found. This is just human nature sadly, although time will heal all wounds.

amazing how tourists are completely ignorant of the ho chi minh trail, tourist companys dont tell the truth which is delibarately putting people in danger. the us should be ridding vietnam, cambodia and laos of as much unexploded ordnance as possible, no matter the cost.

Well, if you knew actual history and about why we bombed them you wouldn't understand why our military bombed them. Almost all of my family has gone into the military and they have many many stories about war and fighting. My older brother flies an F-22 Raptor which is a $350 million dollar plane and my dad is a Colonel in the Army. So just be quiet and try and join in the military and fight overseas. :P

Uh.....yeah, a single B52 in the Vietnam era carried 108 500lb bombs, so.....there will be craters, especially in the region of where the Ho Chi Minh trail ran through Laos supplying the VC with most of their arms being used in south Vietnam to send Americans back home in body bags. Tactics of war everyone.....sorry to say. VC did not respect borders unfortunately and drug their war into Laos. Proud of all of those Americans who served in the Vietnam war, willingly or otherwise, especially my father who was on a B52 crew from '67-'68.
