He stops and pause mainly to catch his breathe and transition into his next set. As you can imagine dancing and singing is extremely difficult. He also like to feel the energy from the crowd while also letting them calm down. He calls it sizzling, let things go and letting things go and getting a good feel for the crowd. The man know how to control the stage and work the crowd.
Ahh, my heart🥰❤.Every time I see beautiful Michael, I am instantly filled with joy! Thank you for reacting to him!❤
Glad you enjoyed the video 😁
Yes the gold leotard is inspired by a fencing outfit.... Michael Bush explains in one of his interviews.
The best entertainer ever!!!
He did the crotch grabbing whenever he felt like it lol! He said that the music drove him to do it and if there’s a driving bass, you become the bass. You should check out Human Nature live in Wembley 1988, Rock with You live in Wembley 1988, Man in the mirror ( Moonwalker Version ) & his full Grammy Awards Performance 1988. He paused a lot to build the Fan’s excitement. In that time, they focus 100% on him & wait for his next move. That’s when they'd go real crazy again. He's 100% the greatest entertainer of all time! Huge MJ Fan here from Germany! 🙌🏼 p.s: If you check out his 1988 Wembley Performances, note that princess Diana as well as prince Charles were in the crowd too! 🔥
Thank you for the further explanation and song suggestions!
@@JeffreyHackReactsplease Dont do wembley that is one of his most mediocre performances, dance wise and especially vocals. For human nature watch his 1987 tokyo performance miles better than wembley and Please react Michael performing billie jean in Tokyo september 13th, 1987. And for some great vocal performances please react to the Jacksons - Rock With You | Live in Los Angeles 1981 (Triumph Tour HD) and Shes out of my life live in Toronto.
@@fredtree7116wembley is way better than 87 stuff in my opinion but I haven't actually watched anything 87 related other than rock with you and shake your body since I haven't known much abt Michael until quite recently ig
MJ said he paused to let the moment simmer for his audiences. His fans gos crazy everytime he pauses.😉
Great reaction.
I really enjoyed your reaction.
MJ always draw a sea of people as far as you could see look. In an interview Mrs. Jackson said she knew Michael had rhythm while she was pregnant with him.. She said before Michael could even walk he would rock and bounce to sounds right on beat. She said she knew Michael was special and gifted.
He’s wearing a gold leotard with pants attached it’s very dope and Michael Bush designed it for him to make it interchangeable to go to the next outfit without wasting time etc. and MJ’s crotch grabbing became prominent in the mid 80’s during the BAD Era but he’d do it here & there it’s more of a feeling thing he doesn’t think when he’s dancing he told Oprah that at times he’d look back at the tape and be surprise at certain stuff he did so it’s more of feeling when you’re dancing MJ becomes the music he is the music so when he hears a driving bass he becomes that when he hears stings he becomes that dancing is true Art just as much as singing is and MJ excels at both btw the reason MJ froze during certain songs he mentions this in his This Is It The Way You Make Me Feel Rehearsal that you have to have a moment to give the audience a chance to take in what they’re experiencing and let it “Simmer” only MJ is able to do this any other artist we would be like WTF IS GOING ON?! Lol btw I would perfer you to React to Michael Jackson “Man In The Mirror” Live In Bucharest 1992 4K🙌🏽👑🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for all of the explanations to my questions I had in the video! And thank you for the song suggestion 😁
@@JeffreyHackReacts watch the extended version of it tho👍🏽
Michael Jackson wears a gold fencing suit over black pants. The concert took place in a football stadium in Bremen and was sold out with 42000 visitors.
That's absolutely insane! Wow!
The crotch grab became more prominent as a dance move for Michael during the Dangerous album era (1989-1994). More specifically during the filming of "Black or White" (1991), he saw his directing choreographer come up with that dance move in the studio.
As a former performer myself, the reason Michael pauses for a certain amount of time on stage is: 1) catch his breath, 2) prepare for the next set of songs, and 3) is to build tension, and excitement from his audience. It's like basking everything in amazement before the show continues.
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your thoughts and insights 😁
Pausing? This is the man who could walk on stage and stand perfectly still for several minutes and the crowd ate it up! (See his Super Bowl performance for example of this.)
Michael Jackson is so amazing, I agree, in so many ways. The way he can move is sooo, unbelievable, his flexibility. His body moves so fast and in so many crazy ways, it’s so hard for my mind to compute , I think, lol! I love the songs I remember the MTV era watching all of his videos, I just loved watching him, listening to him singing!🎤 🎶 I also love the extra noises that he makes besides the words, all of these things that make him the unique individual that he is. There is only one Michael Jackson and I don’t believe there will ever be another!🔥❤️. Great reaction!❤
The leotard MJ is wearing has a very long history, with its origins dating back to the late 17th Century. Since then, it has been used by acrobats, dancers, gymnasts, and has even worked its way into everyday fashions.
Thank you this is my favorite song. I can watch his videos all day
Glad you enjoyed the reaction 😁
This is the Weserstadion in Bremen/Germany, a soccer stadium. While touring Europe, he always (as far as I know) used sports stadiums for his concerts!
He is wearing a custom made golden fencing suit over a pair of black pants
checkout the bad tour ! live at Yokohama or Wembley stadium. the goat
In an interview with Oprah. She asked MJ why he grab his crotch. MJ said it happens subliminally. MJ said "it's music that compels him to do it." He said "it's not saying that I'm dying to grab down there." He said it just happens sometimes. You can listen to or read the interview between MJ with Oprah. MJ said sometimes he doesn't even realized he had placed his hand down there. Until he watch back on his performances.
i believe he had laryngitis and was pretty heavily overworked here, if you want him at his best imo you should react to the bad tours even tho he was exceptional pretty much his entire life
MJ was also a master at figuring out what his image needed at the time. While it could have been the music made him do it as he’s said, it could also have been upping his sexuality factor. It certainly created a huge discussion about him that was very different from the Wacko Jacko stuff dominating about him at the time.
You should react to Billie Jean (Live in Copenhagen, 1992)
I believe his vocal performance was the best on the tour during that night.
He pauses because HE'S THE GOAT
The crotch grab MJ started doing in the BAD era to show that oh yeah you think MJ is PG? Take this
And the move just caught on.
Yes he does in this song during "It's too high to get over too low to get under".
More Live MJ Plz :)
He wearing....base off of fencing gear. Top vest in fencing gear to protect one chest area. MJ probably just like the similar style on himself.
Nice reaction. You should have reacted to the Bucharest version will give you chills
It’s a fencing suit 😊
React micheal jackon shake you body live in Yokohama

Please next react to Michael Jackson "The Way You Make Me Feel" live from Oslo, Dangerous Tour 1992
Could you react to Michael Jackson stranger in Moscow next pls 🤍
Thanks for the suggestion 😁
You should react to Wanna Be Starting Something from This Is It in 2009. You can definitely see how the band and song changes to a more moderate feel at the time.
