  • A crazy extravaganza of a video 3 years in the making, concluding my Coordinate Geometry playlist. How do you transform a parabola or graph a circle with a center outside the origin? How do absolute values effect the graphing of a curve and what areas do inequalities give when mapped? All of these questions and more are answered, visually and verbally.

Hey! Thank you so much for the preparation videos! I was following your quant tricks for GRE and today I scored 325: 156 in verbal and 169 in Quant. This score wouldn't be possible without your Quant tricks and tips!

Hi! I’m preparing for the GMAT and so appreciate the balance you strike in your videos between being thorough without being overwhelming. I have a GMAT prep book, but anytime the book isn’t clicking with me, I pop online and find your explanation and suddenly it makes sense!

Hi Philip, I stumbled upon your channel just a week before my GRE exam. I was reattempting it after 4 years and with hardly 1 month prep as I am a working professional. I tried to watch as many videos of yours as I could and it has helped me tremendously. I scored 315 (Q-165, V-150) which was previously 308(Q-161, V-147). You are a Rockstar. This score couldn't have been possible without you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you.

Thank you so much for your help Philip! I have been studying for the last five months and took my GRE for a second time today, improved from 163V, 156Q to 163V, 163Q thanks to your quant videos and Gregmat as well! You both explained everything in such a clear way and really helped me understand and apply the concepts better. I’m just waiting on my official report now but I have a score that I’m happy to apply to PA schools with next year! Keep doing what you’re doing, you help so many people like me get over this hurdle so we can achieve our dreams and even enjoy the studying process. Even though I interacted with your content for a short while I will definitely recommend you to anyone who is taking the GRE. Thank you again :)

When I see that you have made a video on a topic that I am struggling with, I almost feel relieved knowing that most of my issues will get solved just by watching your video. Thanks a lot for doing this!!!!

Hey Philip just wanted to say thank you so much for your time and effort in teaching and helping students with preparing for GRE/GMAT! I think your way of explaining some abstract and sometimes difficult concepts in math is unmatched. I was also wondering if you had a video or playlist regarding intersection of graphs? I was going through the ETS OG, 3rd edition text and there were a few questions about intersecting functions. Unfortunatley I am at a lost to how to solve those questions effeciently given the short time in GRE. If anyone else here has a reference for reviewing that, please let me know! it would be greatly appreciated!

I have given my GRE today. I got 312(Quant 155). Thanks for your help Philip. You have provided so many free resources for GRE and GMAT while, some sites are charging 200-300 dollar. For the future test takers, I would suggest to focus more co-ordinate geometry and slope. I have encountered at least 4-5 co-ordinate geometry questions and it were pretty difficult for me. Beside this, Chart questions are getting very difficult. So, don't waste too much time on chart questions. PP2 and real GRE are pretty comparable in my opinion.

I don't know how to apply combination to probability questions.
I am currently studying the probability video you made 3 months ago
And the thing is during the 5practices test that I have done I get stucked on the 165-167 range on my quant, what can I do to take it to 170 on the real test?
I took my pp1 and score 36 correctly out of 40 but still had 164, any advice on what I can do to get it to 170? My exam is in two weeks

How frequent does the circle come up in the GRE? I have seen it a few times in Magoosh, but I have not seen it in any ETS material. Further, I guess this is around a 170 quant question.

    Hi Philip,
    Your videos are really helpful.
But the Quant paper is tooo tough. Just now I had my exam, planning to re-attempt next month. It went bad.
I got Geometric Progression , Subset questions, Pendulum , what not everything I got in the paper. Not only practising we need to understand the concept thoroughly.
(No direct questions everything in variables)
I need an advice from you, My vocab is good but my understanding is bad. I am not understanding how to approach Single blank and two blank sentences and I really need help from you in RC, I don’t know whether it is good to say here or not, once I read 5 lines it is becoming arduous for me to recollect the statements.

    Hi Philip,
I need help with the solution to 3^3^4
Is it the same as (3^3)^4
A question on these line showed up in my GRE test last week

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  Год назад +1

When there are no brackets the first one would be 3^81 as 3^4 is 81. Calculate from the top numbers down. With brackets you multiply, so second one is 3^12.
