Thank you Dhruv for covering our history with precise. I am second generation raised in India. We are great full for this country to accept us as refugees back in 1959 even though India was a very young country at that time and I am sure India would have lots of problem of its own. But like a true friend accepted us at our most vulnerable time. Our dream and fight for a nation is uncertain as we see China’s power growing everyday. Thank you India for everything without you our identity would have been lost in history. Jai Hind Jai Tibet.

We also follow Tibetan Buddhism, and weirdly enough the language (LAMA) we spoke is also 80% similar to Tibetan. Whether it's the way we dress traditionally or culture wise too very similar to Tibetans. Turns out, as I found out as a 29 year old man, my father told me that our Great-Great Grandfather emigrated to Nepal. So yeah it seems even I have Tibetan roots.

I am a Tibetan, born in Tibet but raised up in India. This is one of the most well-researched and well-narrated RUclips videos I came across so far. I haven't seen my parents since I was 10 years old. My parents sent me to India, away from Chinese rule, with full faith in the blessing of the Dalai Lama. I am one of the hundreds of thousands Tibetan kids with this story. I was educated in Tibetan Children's Village school in south India. These days, with the rise in China's economic power, it's easy for countries to get pressured by China or individuals to get brain-washed by China. To understand USA, learn about the indigenous peoples stories. To understand Britain, learn about the history of India and Scotland. To understand China, learn about Tibet.

On behalf of all the Tibetan we’re indebted to generosity of India & its people. This video is so accurate in details & will act as documentation to educate our younger generations.
My father was the one among many paving way to Dalai Lama on journey to India. My father & many Tibetans fought in India-Pakistan war of 1971. My mother fled from Tibet cos Communist China was taking children under 18 to train as Chinese army. She’ left for India with the hope to return after two months, she’s now in her late 70s still in hope to hear from family in Tibet. Thank you immensely for this ❤

Tibet has been a part of China since the 13th century. India did not exist then. At that time, Tibet was a slave country, and slave owners abused slaves at will. The People's Liberation Army liberated Tibet. Some slave owners fled to India. India took in some slave owners. Indians are evil. India has 22 of the top 30 dirtiest cities in the world. Indian women do not have freedom and democracy. Tibetans in India are descendants of slave owners. The descendants of slave owners should make amends.

When I was 14 we left for UK in 2005 and since then, I've been back only 3-4 times. But mostly just for business. I would love to spend at least a week or 2 there, and go to Dharmshala as well. Apparently, I found out last year, as my father told me, our great-great Grandfather emigrated to Nepal.

Tibet has been a part of China since the 13th century. India did not exist then. At that time, Tibet was a slave country, and the abuse of slaves by slave owners was arbitrary. Sikkim is an independent country. Please give Sikkim his freedom.

Another fact is so called Tibetan rebels were based on Nepal and was being funded and trained by CIA and India. These guys were terrorising Nepalese people. You can still see villages destroyed by these so called rebels in Nepal.

As a Tibetan here.... Firstly thank you Dhruv for making this video... I've been requesting you for couple of years to make this video....I am quite impressed with the video but there are some facts which are incorrect... 1. Most importantly - Dalai lama isn't something like voting and selecting anyone... it's all about reincarnation... maybe you might not believe if reincarnation is real..but it is.....His Holiness the 14th said his reincarnation will happen in a democratic country...that's what he meant ...it's not like selecting any kid to be 15th Dalai lama...that's not how it works... 2.) There were 6+ million tibetan when we lost our country out of which they have killed 1.5+ tibetan in record book but off record it maybe around 2 million... But overall I am quite impressed Dhruv... Thank you for making this video. For years have been writing to you to make a video about TIBET.. you finally did it.... only Indian RUclips channel I have never skipped watching for years now.

To put it bluntly, the standard of living and income of Tibetans in China is much higher than that of Tibetans in India. Don’t believe me, go and see how the rural people in India live, and then look at the life of Tibetans in Tibet. The standard of living is not at the same level.

There were so many lessons in tibet-china conflict and liberation of Tibet.
My point is a bit different than the topic but somehow related as well.
People in Tibet were very religious and always looked after their Dalai Lama and religion for the answers and help they needed. But nothing worked..they had to suffer a lot.
Religion has Nothing to do with the standard of Living. When the religious Tibet needed the help of God most...it couldn't deliver.
Those who pray a lot don't actually get benefited. Be strong and work for yourself, family, society and humanity rather than sitting and being obsessed with religion and its culture.
