I love this guy. I am worried about this draft being so devoid of first round offensive talent that he could somehow wind up in the first round. But if we can get him in the second, then it would be a great fit
@jwheels9876 it is not the least of our worries because they are lacking a tight end who can work inline and help with blocking. In addition, Hooper is on a one year deal. In addition, Hunter is getting up there in age. Furthermore, like you said, that position is the only one that produces... so, the offense can't afford to have a drop in performance. It is obvious AVP and Drake need a tight end.
@ where do you see this kid getting picked? What round? I don’t see us looking at a tight end before round 4 if I had to guess. O line, WR and probably defensive back/linebacker are going to be much bigger needs heading into the offseason. Would I love a playmaker at tight end, of course but we have much bigger needs IMO
I would target him in the second round if he even makes it that far. Like I said in the video, he has produced better stats than some of the other WR in this draft class, so if you go after an OL prospect in the first, at least you can grab a viable target for Drake in the second. In addition, his size, strength, and high motor will allow him to contribute blocking upfront.
@ respect your opinion, I just don’t see them going that route especially that early in the draft. I’m hoping they get McMillan and then address the OL early second round. Maybe they go a different route and take Banks or Campbell in the first but we desperately need an outside playmaker for Maye. Those jump balls he’s been throwing to Boutte where he makes zero effort to go get could be catchable balls for the 6-5 receiver. We need so much I guess there’s no wrong choice end of the day. Appreciate the work you’re doing
@jwheels9876 i agree... but if you miss on one or both of those in the first, they might have to consider an EDGE or possibly a corner. The first three rounds need to be about finding starters. Sadly, I think this draft might be rough picking for day 1 starters after the third round in the Patriots primary target positions
I wouldn t mind taking this guy so he can be an interior mismatch, after of course trading down our first rounder. Him or Loveland after doing the trading down would t be bad choices IMO. Given that we re not taking into account WR in this particular scenario, how would you feel about a potential Ashton Jeanty s pick after a potential trade down?
I'd rather go edge rusher with 2nd round pick. Jack Sawyer if he's available. 3rd round they have 2 picks so TEs like Fannin, Mason Taylor and Luke Lachey are options.
You got 5-6 positions that could be filled in the first round and Day 2. What and when will probably be determined on who is available and how the board is developing
@MoBux5 Jaheim is a solid H-Back and should be considered for a larger role... but he can not work inline and is not even in the ballpark in terms of receiving ability as Tylers... and Tyler's size alone makes him a better target in the endzone.
Also my TE 1 and I give hime a first round grade. He’s really been unlocked this year with a creative, competent OC.

@@chrismurphy5787 Agreed but Wolf won't get him even if he is there .
Quietly a pretty solid tight end class
One of my favorite college players The next Gronk ..or at least close
Pats probably would have to take him with their 2nd round pick.
Tight End is the least of the Pats worries. That's the only position that actually produces on a weekly basis on the offense lol.

If you think we need a TE go look at Jaheim Bells tape, he needs to play !

@ outta your mind he’s 6’3 230 lbs and can jump out of the gym
@MoBux5 right... a solid size for an H-Back. Not an inline tight end.
@@patsstats we don’t really need an INLINE TE we need speed
gronk like
EAgles first round pick
Don't think he get pass the Chiefs
