Quietly a pretty solid tight end class
I wouldn t mind taking this guy so he can be an interior mismatch, after of course trading down our first rounder. Him or Loveland after doing the trading down would t be bad choices IMO. Given that we re not taking into account WR in this particular scenario, how would you feel about a potential Ashton Jeanty s pick after a potential trade down?
They wont draft him, theyre to high on wallace.
They still need depth at tackle, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get a RT in the draft. Not sure what round.
I like Banks but the Georgia game and his reps against Jalon Walker - particularly in the first half - concerned me. I plan to watch that game again
He doesn't handle speed and bend rushers very well... he also struggles in open space. He is not perfect, but there isn't that immaculate tackle prospect in this class, so he still could be the best option.
EAgles first round pick
Don't think he get pass the Chiefs
If you think we need a TE go look at Jaheim Bells tape, he needs to play !
@MoBux5 Jaheim is a solid H-Back and should be considered for a larger role... but he can not work inline and is not even in the ballpark in terms of receiving ability as Tylers... and Tyler's size alone makes him a better target in the endzone.
@ outta your mind he’s 6’3 230 lbs and can jump out of the gym
@MoBux5 right... a solid size for an H-Back. Not an inline tight end.
@@patsstats we don’t really need an INLINE TE we need speed
Tight End is the least of the Pats worries. That's the only position that actually produces on a weekly basis on the offense lol.
@jwheels9876 it is not the least of our worries because they are lacking a tight end who can work inline and help with blocking. In addition, Hooper is on a one year deal. In addition, Hunter is getting up there in age. Furthermore, like you said, that position is the only one that produces... so, the offense can't afford to have a drop in performance. It is obvious AVP and Drake need a tight end.
@ where do you see this kid getting picked? What round? I don’t see us looking at a tight end before round 4 if I had to guess. O line, WR and probably defensive back/linebacker are going to be much bigger needs heading into the offseason. Would I love a playmaker at tight end, of course but we have much bigger needs IMO
I would target him in the second round if he even makes it that far. Like I said in the video, he has produced better stats than some of the other WR in this draft class, so if you go after an OL prospect in the first, at least you can grab a viable target for Drake in the second. In addition, his size, strength, and high motor will allow him to contribute blocking upfront.
@ respect your opinion, I just don’t see them going that route especially that early in the draft. I’m hoping they get McMillan and then address the OL early second round. Maybe they go a different route and take Banks or Campbell in the first but we desperately need an outside playmaker for Maye. Those jump balls he’s been throwing to Boutte where he makes zero effort to go get could be catchable balls for the 6-5 receiver. We need so much I guess there’s no wrong choice end of the day. Appreciate the work you’re doing
@jwheels9876 i agree... but if you miss on one or both of those in the first, they might have to consider an EDGE or possibly a corner. The first three rounds need to be about finding starters. Sadly, I think this draft might be rough picking for day 1 starters after the third round in the Patriots primary target positions
Also my TE 1 and I give hime a first round grade. He’s really been unlocked this year with a creative, competent OC.
I love this guy. I am worried about this draft being so devoid of first round offensive talent that he could somehow wind up in the first round. But if we can get him in the second, then it would be a great fit
@@chrismurphy5787 Agreed but Wolf won't get him even if he is there .
Pats probably would have to take him with their 2nd round pick.
gronk like
One of my favorite college players The next Gronk ..or at least close
Hope my Steelers grab him great tape
I'd rather go edge rusher with 2nd round pick. Jack Sawyer if he's available. 3rd round they have 2 picks so TEs like Fannin, Mason Taylor and Luke Lachey are options.
You got 5-6 positions that could be filled in the first round and Day 2. What and when will probably be determined on who is available and how the board is developing
My TE 1 he is a more athletic Gronk 6-6 260 Plays TE RB QB
After the Pats win, if we cant get Tet(if we dont sign a WR) I rather us draft Carter over Banks and Campbell. Lowe have been solid and if need to replace him sign a bridge left tackle.
@@Soap67 I'm leaning that way too
Panther
Detroit got him... strictly RB so far and special teams... no defense at all... which is interesting
Hes not a joe alt or jc latham calibre left tackle. Hes a right tackle at the nfl level hes more of a run blocking tackle than a safont pass protector hes a reach in the first round .The player new england best get is that mcmillan out of arizona with their first round draft pick maye needs an all world wr forget about travis hunter he isnt on mcmillans level that dude is legit 6'6 230 pounds with insane hops a generational wr.
He looks like a day 2 guy has gone hands and speed and yac.
No! He needs to go to the 49ers! He's already #1 in the nation as a wide receiver.
Plus he threw 2 this year
The bears need to get him
He looks like Micah parsons out there
Almost a carbon copy
Hes parsons that can play mlb and has better run defense
He is better than a third down back. He is 215 lbs, fast and reads blocks well. He is a three-down back not a third down back.
I want them to pair the 3rd we got from ATL and the 2nd round to trade back into the 1st to take an edge
Not a bad idea
Pats need everything
Can you do more WRs
@@CJClaffey I've got plenty to do. Just got to find time.
If bill was here still here would do wonders with this kid , not to sure about the current defensive coordinator
*Interested to see what he hits on his 40. I know it’s not a true testament to how good a player is…but on some of these plays it looks like he’s pushing 4.45 range. Drake Maye would have a FIELD DAY with a weapon like McMillan.*
@JonStark117 I would question his short area quickness based his leg length... however, he would be a problem for defenses 15+ yards... which is what Drake is known for.
As a jags fan please for the live of God get me will Campbell to anchor this line for trever please or the kid from Texas is great second opinion aa well but I prefer Campbell
When he adds some strength half these issues will disappear. You can tell when he hits these CBs and LBs that he doesn’t hammer them. It’s gentle looking. A guy his size it shouldn’t be close. That’s a man growing into his frame still, so another year or two he’ll be strong af and it will translate into anchor pass pro and run blocking
Welcome to the Texans
He looks a little slow, & I'm not sure how well he will translate to the NFL. Not a fan personally
@@willthomas2310 he's 6'4" and around 220 lbs and runs in the low 4.5s. Should be fast enough to get his marks.
🙏🙏Blessings forever GOD loves y'all too forever tell everyone you know and don't know. Jesus loves y'all too forever. Teach everyone how to see and enjoy their blessings too forever😊
Me and you have talked, i think tank for the first overall, trade for the sixth and this years second and next years first and second. Take campbell at 6 and trade back up for either banks or this guy, idc we need to completely rebuild the line. Then use the first third on a nose tackle, then a guard, then a center, then another guard to convert to fullback. Im sick of our oline sucking
You don’t take will Campbell at 1 you trade back if you can’t do that the only players you take at 1 is Travis or mason graham that’s a bpa pick not a reach for need pick
Caught between a rock and a hard place with PTSD from our drafting. When I see someone with size my mind goes to N’Keal Harry and when I see someone who’s smaller with speed it’s Thornton. Help me🥲
Strong but seems slow and doesnt create separation. Most part of this highlights are against zone. I don't know if I like that, seems like a Nkeal Harry 2.0.
Harry really gave pats fans PTSD, that every big WR looks like him😂
Undrafted. Sometime these guys just miss it on small school guys.
I'm down for second or late first, still think the number one issue is left tackle, hopefully Campbell or banks can do that
@kylerush7948 I think it is clear that the Patriots need to go OT or WR in the first and second rounds. That being said, I am much more comfortable with Vederian Lowe at LT than any of our WRs at the x WR position. Boutte and Borne are better Zs and so is Polk, Baker, Osborn, and Thornton. So, I can see them going WR in the first and assess the tackle boards on Day 2
@patsstats maybe take that kid from Arizona and then the tackle from Oregon, I'm down for that. Third pick needs to be a nose tackle(not a 6ft 3 310 defensive tackle, I mean a 6 ft 2 370 lb plung)
@kylerush7948 Tet McMillan is the WR Arizona... the tackle from Oregon is Connerly, who is solid in pass pro but is run back definitely needs work. As for a NT I like Thor Griffith out of Louisville, but her would a 4th or 5th eounder
@patsstats I'm okay with that, with connerly I'm fine with his run blocking needing help, I want my left tackle to be the best pass protector of the lot, maybe third round then draft a mountain for right tackle and put onwenu in at guard, I like Wallace but idk
@@patsstats personally I think this draft needs to focus heavily on the trenches with the exception of a top wideout and maybe a mid round corner, everything else needs to be trenches trenches trenches, I do however believe we found Andrew's replacement in Ben brown, he has been playing very well
Great vid as usually!👍
Glad you enjoyed!
I'd prefer they draft Jack Bech from TCU, or Ja'corley Brooks from Louisville.
@babyface76 i like them both... I would good Savion the edge on the X receiver type. However, I love Bech and Brooks for slot and z receivers.
Now this would be the one , i been watching him for a bit now ,
He is a solid prospect who has shown growth over the past two seasons. He could contend for a starting job right away, but he also has plenty of development left that hints at additional upside.
I hope the Steelers get him in the third or 4th he could potentially still be there and that's a steal
I like his tape more than Campbell but they are both very good. Wondering if it would be better to take a chance on a tackle in the 2nd with the way Lowe is playing. Tet looks very good, but I do think we should build from the inside out
I personally like Campbell a little more because of his footwork, run blocking, second level, and open field blocking. Banks is better in pass pro and would be an amazing addition. I really agree with the possibility of going with Tet in the first round if Lowe holds up. Vederian has been almost lights out against the best EDGE rushers in the league and has some critical blocks in the run game. Plus, he is a solid teammate.
the mans a beast
What's your opinion on tre Harris from ole miss. To me if pats trade down and get either Campbell or banks. I hope they trade up for tre Harris
I am really big on Tre Harris... Despite watching a lot of tape on him, I haven't performed a comprehensive analysis on him yet because I am stuck on him either being a first or second rounder. I would love to get him on Day 2, but I'm not sure he will be there.
Isaiah Bond & Elic Ayomanor next. If we didn't already have that many depth pieces on the team, I feel like those two along with Williams would be an insane trio
I really like Bond... he is a like a bigger Xavier Worthy with better hands and contested catch ability.
Elic is a 3rd rounder for me. Smooth, but never very sudden, and heels strikes when he runs.
Hope we still draft the best OT . If we ended up in 3 to 5. Bcs we just won against the jets and if we won against the titans too.. we might lose the top 3 pick
I got 1/1. 1 of 1 auto 🎉
This is a damn good video. Subbed
