Considering bitcoins down almost $20,000 from its peak I'd say there's panic all right.
I think the risk reward proposition for BTC in the year 2024 is better than any other time in the history of the asset. And Saylor likely agrees with me. Buy BTC.
What about the taxes changes in US (25% for unrealised gains and 44% for realized gains) for "big fortunes". We all know what does that mean for the rest of mortals in the end.

This halving was different, hard (tight) money has dominated the liquidity that has historically pushed Bitcoin down, but after the halving, Bitcoin drifted sideways. With the prospect of CBDCs, Bitcoin is viewed more as an escape hatch. And with the introduction of the ETF, Bitcoin gained liquidity, regardless of high interest rates. The "corner" we've turned is the divorcing of Bitcoin from the legacy financial system. Halving events have been a celebration of Bitcoin's survival, but that celebration is less and less surprising with each halving. Well analyzed as always. I've seen a lot of newbies enquire as to whether or not it is too late to buy assets especially BTC, ETH, litecoin and maybe XRP... Most having the intention to hodl these assets. I would say we should prep for all Scenarios as the market has always been unpredictable. So boring that new type of analyses are coming out monthly from all analysts and youtubers. I must say trading offers far more benefits than just holding, I will advise traders esp newbies to have orientation of trading before they get involved in it. I accept things are changing and have to be reconsidered by time but not just that fast like these analysts and youtubers are doing. I've managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 21 B'tc in the space of a few months...
