Hi everyone! You can study the same MOS physics from the new lectures. ruclips.net/p/PLIwAonW-w1RvMs40RT84EG6MWt8Zt5qTc&si=8FVFv6eK0yRZuTuG I have modified the content and added a few extra questions. Visit PrepFusion.in/ for comprehensive courses.
sir at 33:50, there can also be one more reason for why we should always have drain to be positive as when we apply negative voltage at the drain side, the pn junction will be forward biased as we are applying -ve volage at n side and the body is already short-circuited with the source and the source value is grounded, so device breakdown will happen.
Very in-depth, interesting & lot of good question effective reasoning is there in this unique Premiere. When are you launching this Analog course? Waiting eagerly. Also, requesting to please upload the solutions pdf for Mega test of Basic Electrical Science course. It will help us very much. Best rgds
Hi Himanshu i think the depletion type MOSFET can still be used as an amplifier as we know that when the incremental input is zero the incremental drain current is still zero (not the bias current) so as long as condition of saturation is maintained we can use it as an amplifier
At 1:29:12 , you said that when an electron and hole combine , then they will result in forming a -ve ion , but this is not true , they will compensate each other charges and energy will be released in form of heat or light . Rest everything is superbly explained till now 😂
Gate voltage is used to bias the circuit in require region .(saturation)for amplifier . So if in depetion type mosfet without applying gate voltage we can obtain saturation. For small signal at Gate Mosfet Current will still vary. So it should work as amplifier?
We know that the n+ pit at drain contains electrons as majority charge carrier and when we apply a positive voltage to drain, all those electrons will start moving towards +Voltage of drain ryt? Am i wrong or is there a different explanation for this? Please clarify my doubt

never seen this kind of mos physics lecture ! like the very depth with in 3 hrs of duration really appriciable .
Thank You bhaiya...kaafi cocepts clear huye
learned MOS in one day thanks alot man.

1:23:22 How holes are getting attracted opposite to E-field?, electrons are attracted opposite to field direction
Yes, That's an error from my side.
Eventually, the holes are not going into the drain terminal.

First to get a interview call we have get rank under 100.

Please clarify my doubt
Yeah, that's why it's getting depleted of charge carriers
What does + sign inside a circle mean? Does it mean a hole or an electron?
