Bah, when it comes to driving tanks, Frank Burns puts Hawkeye to shame! 🤣🤣🤣

I know it's just hollyweird, but it's pretty tough to leave the driver's seat and crawl through the turret basket then up past the gun breech and finally out the turret. There's a flippin' hatch right above the driver's seat. 🤐

That's Hollywood. When did they ever care about accuracy?

Its also pretty tough to go unscathed by a mortar strike barely three feet away from you. Like you said, Hollywood and the suspension of disbelief

Not mention the fact that from the drivers seat he could not have seen shit because the tarp was over the view port.

Right... the tank that came in as a M24 Chaffee but left as an M4 Sherman.(with no bow mg to boot)
Did they even use short barreled M4 Shermans in Korea?

They did at the start of the war but were phased out by upgrade ones like the m4a3 which pretty much saw service to the end of the war and a bit of extra info there are still countries that use the m4 for training purposes

@@dragonknightn7n796 Yes, I imagine the short 75 mm might have trouble dealing with T-34/85's.

It would be against the Geneva convention to put a tank under a red cross tent. And most likely even having it in camp would be a violation.

It was, that little gem got brought up a few times in the show. The ammo dump, the cannon, the garrison, and the tank.
