  • Three dead bodies were found hanged near Wolong Cave This area is in our backyard and we only recently discovered it. It is a very unknown location and we like it there very much, but we are shocked about what happened.
28/11/2021 (3 people decided to take their lives)
31/12/2021 one young man was found hanged (by hikers)
2/1/2022 new evidence showed that another couple entered this area but didn`t come out
3/1/2022 police search had no result
4/1/2022 Petr and Eva joined the official search with firefighters (Puli, Taiwan). Eva found the corpses of the missing young couple near the cave.
It is very shocking and still under investigation. We only know that couple were locals and knew the area from their childhood and that they had some issues. If each was acting voluntarily is still under investigation.
It is sad, shocking, but despite this - the place is not bad. It is mysterious and young people found peace there, even if not in way which society can ever understand. Wish them peace.

I’m so sorry. Nothing any of us can say will comfort you. But some of us have the sympathy or empathy to understand to an extent…
I had a similar experience with someone I loved, my best friend and a partner of mine. I promise you that even though someone may not love themselves the proper way, they can love others. You are loved and she was too. If their peace is the only solace in their decision than who are we to judge. It’s ok to miss her all the same. A Mother’s love is so potent. Love is the most powerful thing in the universe. You will meet again. Love unites.

Yes they often do and that can play a part in the method and location chosen. For example, I’ve seen people take a shotgun to their head in the family living room - this type of method is often to send a message/make a statement. The method in the video was the opposite.
And also just like Indicakitty said: the suffering is nothing like you could imagine so it can be you just don’t care.
I always considered it a privilege to be there for the body and to show compassion and dignity in their final act. It’s an honour to me.

@@freshofftheboat66 More than likely it was murder, and to send a message. Mountain rats (illegal poachers and loggers) live in the mountains of Taiwan and sell the expensive wood and endangered species abroad to collectors. Some animals can go for millions. Could be these three came across a gang and saw too much to be let go.
The first man found them, most likely, or was part of their group, as no one saw him enter.
Then later the couple went there probably to hike or picnic and were in the wrong place at the wrong time; 'we've already killed, what's two more?'
Or the couple could've been a Romeo and Juliet scenario, young, stupid, both families against their relationship, etc. Generally people who commit suicide don't take a lot with them into the forests if they're certain of dying, but also if it was a gang, they'd take all their stuff and resell it online if they brought any.
Frankly there's too much evidence we're not aware of to make the case it was murder and suicide is just easy for the authorities to handle, simply wrap 'em up and send them home, no investigation, less bodies involved, less funds spent, etc.
The officials reported it as suicide- but authorities are rarely the optimal source of correct information; most authorities fudge their statistics to improve their own competence; for example if there was a gang of mountain rats (or worse, a global crime syndicate branch like the Triads) and the police have left them to roam around the forest, it would make the local police and park rangers (or Taiwanese equivalent to rangers/anti-poachers/wardens) look incredibly incompetent or it could spark an internal investigation, which is bad if anyone is doing anything at all, like taking bribes or charging more for tickets, planting evidence, etc, etc, thieves will work together to cover everyone, as long as it saves them as well. It's done quite often, in every country, unfortunately, by announcing this as a suicide, it's not a crime statistic that will reflect on the local municipality and thus won't affect their funding or put more work on people's already stretched time and energy.
Most, if not all, government branches are underfunded at all times, it's a constant battle to get more money to spend and keep the populations content and away from rebellion.
It's like how the US tends to cover up how more than 56% of violent crime is caused by black males who make up 8% of the US population- that makes them over a hundred times more dangerous than Pitbulls, yet Pitbulls are illegal- there is always an agenda and a reason for authorities to manipulate statistics. The agenda in the US being to promote equality, freedom, etc, to be seen as Humanitarian and heralds of Liberty. You can't give everyone equality and freedom if certain groups of people are naturally predisposed towards violence. But just like questioning the Chinese govt, there are things you can't say in the US also, like question the crime statistics of black people and admitting to the facts- they are dangerous and unstable, capable of going violent at any time over the smallest slight, even if you're unaware or uninvolved, you can get hurt.

I've attempted suicide many times, and though I'm in recovery and have somewhat healed, I still sometimes have weeks where I seriously consider suicide again. I can't say what the future holds for me, as ultimately what I do with my life is my choice. But I've found so many things to ground me and to remind me why I find life beautiful and worth continuing. Hiking in the forest has always made the depression and pressure ease away, so it's difficult to swallow the fact that these 3 people couldn't find peace in the stillness of the trees. I mourn for the grief and anxiety they must have carried in life to lead them to this kind of death. I wish they could have seen even a glimmer of a different future.
Eva and Petr, thank you for helping to recover the couple's bodies. May you both always be loved and protected, for you give such good to the world. RIP to all three victims.

It was a very sad, very strange case. Coincidentally, the hanged men were being sued by a woman during that time. The woman had a lawsuit, accusing the men of accidentally killing all of her succulent plants.
She was a succulent grower/seller? And had relied on the men to take out the rows & rows of plants into sun light, then put them back indoors.
But the plants were forgotten and had died. The woman sued them for compensation, a large amount.
There was also a suspension that the men were murdered, not suicide.
There's not much about it on Google, only couple of news clips.
Overall it's just very very sad & tragic.

As a retired suicidal (I quitted because my body was half broken after 3rd tries), I can somehow understand their decision. This is how I feel about that, it's maybe wrong, it's maybe right, we can never know:
He was probably never able to repay the debt after the lawsuit (I had 60mil yen debt at the age of 26, it was incredible), he didn't want their family to get involved, so he decided to disappear...
But, if the women that sued him knows that she drove him to his death, it would be a huge shock for her. So I think he hoped that she would never know his fate, as well as none would be troubled because of his death.
Even if suicide is the most selfish thing one can do, many of us wanted to not involve others into our suffering.
About the location... I really hope that the area would get crowded with hikers or tourists, it would really help to keep the suicidal away.

In the book After, The author Dr Bruce Greyson studied NDEs for decades. He interviewed people who had survived a suicide attempt. He was surprised that despite the “other side” being so wonderful and inviting, the survivors felt sure they had to finish their lives here , find a meaning for themselves.
I hope you are well. ❤

This century’s seems lots of people going though depression the best way to protect them from suicidal families should see or feel if anyone in your family member personality had changed like showing sad face discontent to friends or relatives and sleepless mean that person under depression don’t wait to long immediately bring that person to see Psychiatrist asap and shows more of your love and care for them

    • @Kumahachi8
      @Kumahachi8 2 года назад +8

It’s not always that easy, unfortunately. People with depression are often masters at hiding their true emotions for the sake of protecting their loved ones. In addition to that, suicide isn’t always easy to see coming, as they often become joyful. This is why it’s important to reduce the stigma around mental health so that people with mental illnesses can feel as though they can talk without fear of judgement if they are struggling.

    • @caber1487
      @caber1487 2 года назад +2

It’s a form of offering to the deceased in many Asian cultures, those paper resembles currency that when burnt those money will be received by the spirits to use in where they’re going, take it as hell/heaven (or maybe I should say capital of the dead?) in Christian but with society and market and other stuffs where the spirits will continue to stay at until they’re judged by the god of the dead and reborn

Help for mental health is so hard to get. And without help, people fall into despair and self-medicate and become addicts (will often die of eventual fentanol overdose) or can take their own lives to escape their "pain". Very sad... with the right supports, all these people could be saved and become good members of society and be loved again. The way the world is now is very sad indeed.
