Go look up the videos Steve Harvey did on MJ, as he was one of the very select few people to be close friends with MJ, and defends him fairly well, and also tells a kind of sad story about the time he took MJ to church, and obsessed fans found out, and tried to mob them.

For 1, Michael did not have a proper childhood and I believe he lived his childhood through his adulthood. With all that money he accumulated, he created a huge kid's playground. Neverland being the biggest. McCaulay Culkin (forgive me I probably spelt it wrong) came out and said it. Nothing happened at those slumber parties. I don't condone those slumber parties, but I don't see MJ as what the media desperately wanted me and others to see him as.

Most people don't care about justice. They just want to feel righteous, and truth is just an inconvenience to them.

A lot of these so-called righteous people don't care about the allegations. They more so care about the person the allegations are connected TO. It's no secret that Michael Jackson had a lot of enemies and just as many haters, so once the allegations and media slander started to pick up steam, people gladly took it and ran. Michael was so popular and powerful around the world that many people worked overtime to see his downfall. A downfall that never came. Those 14 not-guilty counts left a lot of naysayers dumbfounded and embarrassed. To this day, as you said, people are too ashamed to admit they were wrong, so they continue to stretch their false narratives for as long as they can go.

The question to be asked is "Can someone reclaim innocence stolen?" and I think he genuinely tried, as best he could, and you can't do that by destroying the innocence of children. Though there are people (quite a few it seems) that do not believe this is possible, that everything MJ did was a corruption of innocence; and I find that so utterly ironic considering the horrors teachers, parents, and doctors have brought upon children.

I'm ACTUALLY a child of the 80s that grew up with Michael Jackson, so I lived the entire period and remember watching his progression and starting to get a weird vibe. Let's be honest, while I don't believe the accusations leveled? No. Do I think he was damaged and abused as a child and as a result had some serious demons- including sekshually - that manifested in abhorrent or inappropriate behavior regarding kids and his access to them? Yes. He was an adult man that got boners and sated them somehow, the details are unknown. But all the kids he hung out with are messed up and so was he. While I don't believe all the accusations, I also don't pretend he was a child-in-a-mans-body that was an innocent victim as an adult. The truth is obviously in between the 2 narratives.

Dude, if I wanted to listen to Michael Jackson’s music, him being a criminal wouldn’t stop me. If I refused to listen to artists who had committed a crime, that’s about 80% of popular music I’m cutting out of my life. 😂 What Ian Watkins actually factually did is WAY worse than anything Jackson was accused of, but I still listen to lostprophets. This idea that I need Jackson to be innocent so I can still listen to his music is so asinine. I believe he is innocent because the evidence suggests that (hence why he was acquitted on all 14 counts in the single criminal case ever tried against him, and as raz0r says here, the jury convened to find a verdict two months early because the case was so obviously a hoax).
Seems to me a certain farm animal would never accept truth about the accusations that can be found out via research.
That's why Razor isn't even a past or current fan of Jackson's music, you bint.
