Good idea. The only thing I'd do different (without the knowledge of any other potential weaknesses) is to choose a different material. After I'd had finished figuring out the angles of the plate, I'd take a carton or a very thin tin sheet, bend it to shape and then use that to create a 2-3 sheet carbon-cevlar back plate. It'd be much lighter and not much more expensive...maybe 40-50 Euros? P.S. I have previously made a KTM 990 bash plate from carbon/kevlar (13-14 sheets in total) and it was literally bulletproof and light as a feather. This should be much easier and would look very good.
Very nice 😊 I really want a Carpe iter, but then again it is very expensive. Another rugged tablet would be nice, moving speedo etc to the handle bar etc Then getting the thork adventure controller.
@@helderneves91 The speedo is moved to handlebars, and GPS\Phone\Tablet is now where the speedo used to be. I'll have video up on this soon on my channel.
A 10inch tab seems a little overkill in my opinion & takes away the simplicity of the T7. Seems to block a good portion of your vision as well, don't take this the wrong way but hey if it something that makes you happy and enjoy the ride more, more power to you. But appreciate the solid work there.👍🏼
Muchas gracias . Seguí tu video y ha quedado perfecto. Gracias ruclips.net/user/shortsn0w5BL8jDS8?feature=share

you are my hero... keep us up to date how the tower works on very rough terrain and big bumps... Thx and greetings from Germany...

something to consider indeed!
You might as well figure out how to make simpler version of this and sell it as a kit. I would be a customer
What brand is your watch? - it looks highly legible.

Thanks, made a video about my controller as well (€12). I like that I can use the tablet in the tent after a days riding 😅
wow!
Great job with this. I probably would have gone with the Galaxy Active3 8”. You must be from Texas :)
Waiting and hoping for an active tab 4 with 8 inch 😁
@@NextGenerationEnduro I respect your fabrication skills whatever u choose lol
Upgrade in new video :)
Great DYI!
crazy, very inspiring
Nice work, do you need to look down to see the screen on the handle bars, or is it still in your field of vision?
When sitting, I can see it, standing, I have to look down. But I don't need that info much when offroad
Van waar ben je ? Gr B
Moeilijke vraag, weekend regio Turnhout, weekdagen regio Boom :)
Great idea! I did some 3D printed versions for relocating the speedo & GPS mount. Unfortunately waiting for winter to pass here before I can test.
side by side?

@@SBMoto subscribed, hope to see the work soon ;)
There seem to be a lot of options to buy a mount now as well, but DIY is more fun 😁
@@NextGenerationEnduro There's alot but can't find something side by side :D
