That's a great looking bike and Trey is the perfect guy to help develop the bike. History is being made today! I'm sure we'll look back at this video 10 years from now and say.. that was the beginning!
I'm excited. The Redshift was competitive in dirt, super moto and flat track against gas bikes. I'm glad Honda is finally on board, I might buy my first CR soon.
3:56 what happened to the bike? Man this is exciting seeing the factory teams develop electric race bikes Excited to see where it goes Bike looks amazing
I hated e-bikes until I just watched trey canard and listened to his soothing positive voice. Now I'm neutral about it. That man is and always has been a class act.
Electric cars not yet ready for mas public. Still many issues. However electric bikes are the jam. Electric bikes will help to reopen locations closed because of "noise" pollution.
To be honest this is cool and fascinating, but if supercross and motocross goes full electric then the sport will die. Part of the fun is the noise, the sounds of rev limiters. The rumble of bikes getting ready to get the holeshot.
There is discussion on super cars going EV and a noise being added to them for this reason. Now I would imagine these noises could be tailored, changed and even turned up, down or off as desired.
Just can't into it even tho I think it will help local tracks. Who goes to races for silence? Who goes to ball games for silence? Thinking about the sell and crowd ticket sales. Reason why F35's and others fly over stadiums. I get it, but it's a love hate relationship for me at this point. It may be the direction, but good luck getting an F35 fly over. Maybe they can pull it off.
Why do F35’s fly over stadiums? Because of what they represent not the noise. And I’m a pilot. Yeah that will really influence getting a fly over🤦🏻♂🤦🏻♂What a moron
Don’t worry Trey. The negative comments only come from the uneducated or ones that truly don’t take the time to understand what they do for the sport. The majority of all the comments are always totally irrelevant to the topic at hand anyways. Great job!
Instagram has made people into pussies and cowards ,just like goggins said . People will always find a problem ,just let them throw their fit, you do you
I’m sure they are fun to ride but it would be boring to watch on TV. There wouldn’t be much if any excitement hearing silence the who time. Same with going to the races I’d imagine would be worse. Hearing the sound of RC cars going around the track if you could even hear them over the crowd of people. The smell of rave gas, the sound of a pack of bikes in a whole shot and the rip and roar of an engine would be gone and that’s half of what makes racing so good. Without that the only exciting thing you’ll see is if someone gets stuffed in a turn and it’s not like this is NASCAR where you want to see the machine beat up by the end of the race because that usually means the rider is hurt unlike the rare occasion that a drive would be. As long as they make gas and electric I’d be pretty happy with the advantages of both but if it kills off gas bikes I’ll probably just ride and not watch the races if they are all electric. The only two advantages I see for electric is sound to ride anywhere and a bit easier maintenance but how often do engines need rebuilt nowadays anyways? I guess that part depends on the person and how much riding they do but I personally like taking care of bike. Throughout the summer I keep it washed and changed the air filter ever ride and oil every 10hrs. I generally don’t put more than 30hrs on a bike a year so I do all the bigger maintenance like greasing, graphics, valve checks or rebuilds on the engine and suspension in the winter which the majority of the country has except the people in the south or south west to where the ground isn’t frozen and bitterly cold out. All in all they shouldn’t be trying to replace gas bikes but rather give another option of bike like Yamaha and the KTM umbrella does.
this opens and entire new world for motorcross.. think about it.. we can open tracks in places we’d never imagine because of noise etc, i know 2stroke is awesome but ride one of these .. itll blow ur fknmind i promise
Looks cool and is probably fun to ride but……it’s just hard to imagine moto without the sound. E bikes might be a bad thing for drawing in fans to the stands. Who wants to go listen to a bunch of chain slapping and brakes squeaking. Nah.
understand that a local tracks near housing will welcome electric bikes, just keep it out of pro racing! I want to hear MOTORS ROAR! The loud sounds and smells of gas engines are manly stuff, electric dirtbikes are cool when you want to hit the trails, but remember animals wont run from the wizzing e bike! There was a guy that revved his 450 to scare a bear away! Good luck girls!
Love me some Trey and the sport . But please don't buy these fkn things , next thing we know it'll be total silence inside arenas . We never thought 4 strokes would overtake 2 strokes either and here we are. Our sport dies if the gate at Anehiem is stacked with nothing but electric bikes.
Yeah, surely don’t buy something that is a huge growth area for the sport 🤦🏻♂. It’s an addition to the sport by market demand not a replacement. Like why there are over 18,000 Varg’s on order🤦🏻♂
Trey is truly one of the best ambassadors of this sport so humble and such a nice guy.
The sport needs more Tray Canard. Such a genuine guy.
That's a great looking bike and Trey is the perfect guy to help develop the bike. History is being made today! I'm sure we'll look back at this video 10 years from now and say.. that was the beginning!
Great job 41. Good to see him back on track..
Huge Trey fan. What a great guy. And great project.

We love you Trey! the scrub on moto 3 was sick!
SO.. When is the next race with this bike?
your a very likeable guy, haters will crash into you on purpose because they are afraid of change, keep up the good work
3:56 what happened to the bike?

Excited to see where it goes
Bike looks amazing
This is really exciting for the sport. Get used to it, haters, because more are coming!
Never forget when Trey stopped by our pit in Seminole Oklahoma and took some selfies with my son and daughter before their race. Just a terrific guy
The thing is awesome...I want 1 hands down...........most impressive thing for me in this vid was the forks!!!!! 1.05 mark some nice parts there!!!!
Facts
Looks sick
Way to go push the envelope!! Great to learn and grow… quiet bikes means ride almost anywhere
!!!!!!! No more air filters!! Woop woop😊
The local govt will harp on us for excessive dust. They will never let us ride at least here in NJ
Love the bike! Looks fast!!
Trey is an inspiration. If he was healthier back in the day, things would be different. Multiple championships
How many giga watts at the rear wheel?
1.21!

Dear Santa
Always smiling 😊

Oh hell yes.
Hopefully the retail price, Will be very competitive with the stark varg. LESS

this bike is perfect fort latte drinking skinny jeans wearing yuppie dorks like you kurt.
Instagram has made people into pussies and cowards ,just like goggins said . People will always find a problem ,just let them throw their fit, you do you
@@bikerdude6119 I have no idea what the actual point of that ramble was LOL

I used to like dirt bike sounds, but fartstrokes make horrible noises, I am sick of them. I much rather hear the electric whine.
Hopefully they send him a bike to test here.
2035 I bet everything will be e bikes
nailed the bike? trey is a fantastic rider but this bike made him look awkward and the cornering looked awful
The one time I was grateful for the music rather than that horrible screeching electric noise.
You lost! 2 stroke or die🤘🏻
To me so much more beautiful than the Stark v. But that is subjective
this opens and entire new world for motorcross.. think about it.. we can open tracks in places we’d never imagine because of noise etc, i know 2stroke is awesome but ride one of these .. itll blow ur fknmind i promise
I want a new trx450r that is efi and a new trx400ex
They make the seats too thin nowadays but it's okay for racing because you don't sit down that much I wish they would come down on the price
His fingers said “where’s the clutch?”

If honda made a two stroke dirt bike......that would be sweet. But lets ride battery bikes and it'll change the weather or something.....
Negative comments were made when 4 strokes started to enter motocross supercross .always going to be haters
Ether he is off game or that bike is like riding a pig he came up short or barely made every jump

I like how you don't have to shift so you can hold on tighter, but I still love the two-stroke
It sucks bro
