That's the spiritual battle we're facing right now. I'm disappointed to see people who claimed to be present truth Adventists fall, and I realise they don't believe their own messages.
But I'm also encouraged to see the beginnings of a strong remnant who won't cave to pressure.

I don't know if the number is going to be physical of symbolic, but all I know is those people will be able to stand through the great time of trouble.

Only 8 righteous people were saved and alive during the flood... I believe it is the same with 144000, and the great multitude question... the great multitude of righteous people will die before the great time of trouble, only the 144000 righteous people will be alive during the great time of trouble..

Hence, in His wisdom, foreseeing the destructive nature the approach or the method to share the "beneficial" information can cause, Jesus counsel in Matthew 18:15 that issues first to sort out on personal level and then be elevated, accordingly. If we don't follow this counsel, we give opening to the enemy of the church to cause division in Adventist churches.
