ok. this looks like a lot of fun. i want to start one today. however, i was not into harry potter and i am confused about the color setup. could you tell me in detail again which colors to use. i know i can use what ever i want, but i am confused about the arrangement of each part
i know i’m late to reply but, there are four harry potter houses. All of them consist of two colors each. There are Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw. Slytherin is green and silver/white, Hufflepuff yellow and black, Gryffindor red and gold, Ravenclaw blue and bronze (or blue and silver)
I.A.N Sure! You can use whatever thread you’d like, but keep in mind that it may be a bit thicker than it you were to use embroidery thread. Good luck! :)
Thank you!! In the movies, you're right, Ravenclaw's colors are silver and blue. However, in the books, Ravenclaw's house colors are bronze and blue. The movie producers changed from bronze to silver because, according to Laurent Guinci (costume department) who came on in PoA, it was most likely a design decision because Gryffindor and Hufflepuff both had yellow/gold. From a visual design perspective, it was more balanced for Slytherin and Ravenclaw to share a color too. Anyway, thanks for picking up on that! :)

I made this bracelet and it turned out amazing. The only thing that I did different was I added a slip knot at the end.
