"I've actually seen this before. People are gonna be pissed."
That explains so much.
I’m gonna ignore the fact that THIS of all movies you’ve seen & instead say that November is usually the month that NC releases a new commercial special.
OOOOOH YESSS
8:21 there is only one The Iron Giant movie, the animated film by the same director of The Incredibles. Nostalgia Critic did a review of the film this year.
I remember a friend told me about this movie while we were in middle school or something. He just liked pretty much anything that billed itself as horror. He moved basically across the country sometime after that, but his glowing, almost awed description of what sounded like the dumbest shit ever suddenly popped into my head while watching this
Hi, Duck I’m with you on the thing where if I heard there was a horror movie about a killer tire I would watch it.
"How did we go from Rubber to talking about protecting forests and trees and species?" Well, clearly they must be RUBBER trees. XD
Booooo
Its simpler than that. No reason.
This nostalgiaween intro is an homage to the Beetlejuice animated series.
Theres a beetlejuice animated series? I mean I've heard of the movie and thats it
@@theduckgoesmoo
Yes.
I honestly don't remember that much about it other than the intro, but I remember it being really funny.
@@theduckgoesmoo Yeah, it was a Saturday morning cartoon on ABC back before the network was bought by Disney, early 90's I think
@@theduckgoesmoo Yes, there's also a musical which is the BEST version in my honest opinion. It's not currently running of course, but you should give the Original Broadway Cast Recording a listen.
The intro to this one was a parody of the Beetlejuice animated series intro! :D Also, I think it'd be cool to do NC videos with guests, especially if it's of a movie the guest has seen so they can inform you of the little references and tidbits that tend confound you. XD
I remember seeing Rubber in college. A bunch of us were watching Avatar: The Last Airbender because one of them hadn't seen it yet. At some point on of us mentioned hearing about a movie with a killer tire.
So we looked it up and were so baffled by the premise in its description that we HAD to watch it. So I quickly donwloaded the movie and we watched it right then and there.
Honestly we loved it just because of how weird it was. Everything just made no sense and it was awesome.
Then it finished and we went back to watching Avatar.
The opening of this review was a shot-for-shot recreation of the opening to the cartoon Beetlejuice.
Really, you should do reactions to the different Star Wars movies at some point. Like as a timer reaction or something since I'm positive putting the movie/its audio up would get a video flagged.
Some other random reaction suggestions:
Gravity Falls
Thats the same reason why I watched it and I plan to have a movie reaction channel that works just like that dont worry
Hey Zeb your were one the first RUclipsrs I ever watched thanks for all you’ve done
I was honestly shocked when you mentioned Rubber in the Natsu VS Ace Death Battle reaction.
That's how you know I'm not lying about any of this
Of course you’ve seen *this* movie of all things, *cause that’s how you are.*
You should react to the Nostalgia Critic's own movies at some point. He made several full length movies with the other reviewers on his old site 'That Guy With The Glasses'.
The first is a short called TGWTG One Year Anniversary Brawl, then there are three full movies he made called 'Kickassia', 'Suburban Knights' and 'To Boldly Flee'. 'Suburban Knights' is probably the best out of any of them.
Are they good??
@@theduckgoesmoo Pretty entertaining. They're definitely low budget, but quite fun nonetheless.
The Brawl is pretty much just fanservice for fans of all the different reviewers, Kickassia is kinda like a live action cartoon. Suburban Knights is legitimately the best among them. To Boldly Flee is probably the one they took most seriously so people are kinda torn on that one.
This movie is already better than Cats, Freddy GF, and The Room combined! How did THIS MOVIE accomplish such a feat? Lol
Yes, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a movie, one that I've had the fortune?/misfortune? of seeing.
I am one of the people that's been telling Kyle to watch this for a long time, ever since he first mentioned he had seen Rubber.
The intro is a parody of the animated Beatlejuice series intro.
"Is that Velma?" That's recurring character Super Fan Girl.
Their (Doug and his brother Rob) First Viewing of this movie is a great reaction video.
There's just the one Iron Giant movie as far as I know.
8:50 Is that a Vitamin water bottle?
Manos: Hand of Faith is a classic "so bad it's good" B-movie.
I had never heard of it until this video and the First Viewing of it.
"I don't think a gun will help in that situation." If a gun won't help any situation, you're clearly not using enough gun.
theduckgoesVPN when?
Nostalgia Critic recommendations: The Mummy 1998 and The Mummy 2016 two parter.
See ya Wednesday.
Thats right you did suggest this a very long time ago!! Also no that was not a vitaminwater bottle lol
23:25 an en-tire army...
oh god now I'm tire-d
mfg
Olli
Boooo
I never think anyone really gets mad when you haven't seen a movie I just think they just know that you really like it and it's a shame I guess there's movies I don't want and shows I've never watched just like survivor and walking dead and a few others Doctor who that I never cared to watch but then I picked up Star Trek and it was super cool and game of thrones. There is always time and somethings get better with age. Like the original Star Trek is the funniest shit I've ever watched yet I love it.
15:20 - nope
but more importantly - what "made you want to watch it"?! and in cinema or at home? óO
mfg
Olli
My mom was like wanna watch a movie about a tire that blows peoples heads up with me? I was like sure why not
Apparently, the tire is named Robert.
Idk why I never caught this but the map of the earth at 2:03 is the same map from the worst Christmas movie ever that he reviewed. Why have I never noticed that? I've seen this episode at least a dozen times.
"People were asking me to do this"
... Really? "Rubber"? R-really?... I... first "Freddy got pegged" or whatever, now this?
I can name about, I dunno, twenty more entertaining reviews from NC to watch.
- every Steven King review
- every DC movie review
- every Marvel movie review
- every Commercials you haven't watched
- every Chipmank movie review
- every Jurassic Park/World review
- every Star Trek Movie review
There, gave myself a handicap and grouped a bunch of movies together, now to other 13
- League of Extraordinary Gentelmen
- Blair Witch 2 Book of Shadows
- Old vs New Evil Dead
- Old vs New Cinderella
- Alone in the Dark
- Bloodrayne
- Pearl Harbor
- Mulan Rouge
- Les Miserable
- Phantom of the Opera
- The Spirit
- Exorcist 2
- Devil
We (well, me at least) were asking for it because Kyle had seen Rubber, and hadn't seen Nostalgia Critic, as an introduction point to the Critic.
Yeah, of course the guy who makes lifelong hermits look knowledgeable has seen this obscure-as-hell, stupid-as-shit movie.
at some point you should also check out AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) he was around before the critic and is still going and for awhile they had a fake rivalry just for some fun. Also when AVGN got his movie made critic did a review of it.
The Mummy (2017) review is a good collab between the two.
"this intro is cool"
ME: *sigh* That was from Beetlejuice the animated series. You probably don't know or seen the Beetlejuice the movie
Ive heard of the movie before but thats it
People maybe after you; "I have guns"; on your computer "oh". Terminator "I'll be back' with more guns!!"
So what you're saying is, I should watch this movie so I can be cool like you are
7:04 Why is this the only movie Duckman has ever seen in his entire life?
9:25 & 12:28 The comments in all your videos
14:33 As a duck, does that make you a Humanee?
Day131 of asking for game theori- wait, that's not right
Ahem
Day 132 of asking for game theorists fnaf
There we go, just had to add 1
The there will be carnage thing he said was a reference to the Venom movie
Pfft Guns... I have Dogs with guns on their mouths so when they bark they shoot bullets at you.
PETA aint happy about it but they dont have the firepower to stop me!
Soon I will pull a meteor made of solid THC down to Earth. You see I enjoy THC so much that once I had an unfortunate dabbing accident and spilled Shatter all over my tallywacker... They call me... WeedMember. What was I saying... I got distracted by weed and Austin Powers.
... you've seen the Iron Giant... But you've seen THIS?!
Yes!
Still trying to process the Rubber is a thing
I've never seen this movie, how did you?
I liked the Alvin and the chipmunks movies, just as a lot of fun
Hahaha no idea
Critic's review was the first time I ever heard of this movie
Same
I did react just the same way as that Jontron meme ngl.
You’ve seen something before? Is this an off season April fool’s joke?
Haha noooo
Me: clicks video because "oh good! Of all the things hes never seen, he has to see this."
You: surprise
Hey man, given how you've never seen 90% of any movie ever; you should probably start doing some movie reaction videos!!
I plan on making a separate channel just for movies so if it gets deleted it's only that channel
so you never watched a single Star wars movie but you did watch this weird movie about a evil tire.
Correct!
I have seen that movie it's hilarious bad and some weird reason I like it
I love it!
20:26 - 20:31 Movie Reference? Better movie? E.T.? EEEEE.T!
You know I'm not even surprised when you made a joke about it and even put the poster in one of your vids not long ago if I recall.
You should have a guest react to Nostalgia Critic's review of Titanic: The Legend Goes On with you.
Dude you need to see Jurassic park. Also his reviews of all the Jurassic movies are awesome
"Is it black?" 😐😒😔😞 As a black person, I don't know whether to be offended or just give up on humanity, or both.
Please react to Dragon Ball Z Abridged MOVIE: Bojack Uncancelled
Meh, not surprised. We've all got bad movies we're fond of, usually for nostalgic reasons. For me it's Joe Vs. The Volcano, an old Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan film involving brain clouds, orange soda, ritual sacrifice and a depiction of a native island culture that would probably be racist if their fictional backstory weren't so batshit crazy that you'd have to identify the right race to have been offended for first. Also Meg Ryan plays three characters, it's a total trip. Great soundtrack, though
You asked for a comment fine here’s one (DUCKS GO QRACK) just kidding ok bye:3
Good reaction.
But I advise you to not see Nostalgia Critic's review of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. It gets so many things wrong about the movie, it makes me sick to watch it.
However, I have no problem resuming the commercial specials.
it could be worse... it could be a movie where a guy restores an old car back to life, but it turns out that the car gets sentience and kills everybody who's trying to get in-between her and the guy. yes, this is real. it's called Christine. it's also the name of the car in the movie. and it's based off a novel by the same name (i think) by Stephen King. it's that weird. then again, Stephen King wrote a novel about a s:t bernard getting rabies and goes on a killing spree...
There's also Maximum Overdrive (Stephen King aswell), trucks and cars turn sentient, which NC did make a review about.
Wait, you haven't seen a Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street movie, but you've seen Rubber?
That's like saying you haven't seen Big Lebowski or Clerks, but you've seen The Lobster.
Kyle... Duck... whichever you prefer... forgive me for sounding rude, but you are an enigma. Makes me glad I subscribed since this almost feels like an interesting puzzle.
Out of all of those movies listed I’ve only seen rubber lol
@@theduckgoesmoo Well, of you ever have the time, I do recommend The Big Lebowski. It's as surreal as you can get while keeping a movie fully grounded in reality. Well, except Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (the film Doug referenced with Dr Gonzo), but I don't know how much that counts given the massive use of drugs in the story.
Please, react to Nostalgia Critic - Steel.
a movie suggestion if you ever want to react to a movie: Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. it's almost as bad as Rubber, but in a good way
"Almost"
@@theduckgoesmoo well, it's actually probally worse, but it's funny and actually has semi-coherent plot
Would've been better if it was about a condom and not a tire
Regarding all of your questions during the review; no reason
I love Mr oizos music
It's a good movie 😀
Best movie 11/10 would not watch again
Why did Kyle watch this review?
No reason.
Why
No reason
Watch Cabin in the woods
