I spent 6 years deployed overseas and people trying to drag Tom for his comments are ridiculous. Obviously he wasnt "comparing football to war" he was referring to preparation/committment

If that is the case they why is there now an Oline issue when Brady supposedly never had a great Oline with the Patriots nor a top WR core? Could it be Brady has always had an underrated Oline and WRs for most of his career and now there are issues it is the Oline? Brady is 45 with marriage issues and lost Brown and Gronk this season.

Tom will have his moment this year. He's certainly up against it both off and on the field. More so than in previous seasons. The wolves are coming for Tom, but if he can play better and the O line get better we can win more than we lose.
Not going to happen. At this rate the front office knows this is not a SB winning team. So instead of trading to get help or make the team better they will let the team play out as they are with Brady going to retire next year. The front office will have to replace Brady or hope Trask is the guy. Either way the front office wont make any major changes to help knowing all of that. They want that better draft spot. It will be much better to have that better draft spot knowing the other division teams do not seem to have a great franchise QB. Unless the rookie QBs come in and are better than expected the division next year should still be any ones to win baring some QB trade or FA move.
Ughh of course someone would bring up that Roethlisberger podcast where he said that about Brady. I've always been impressed on how Tom handles the media and those types of questions.

Tom I'm a nurse in the UK n I understand what u want it's nothing against military but u want that type of orientated team I'm doing it nursing and falling into place to lead I worked nite shifts 8 yr n came onto days and ur my program teaching folks within the organisation I work for after things like COVID it's building that hierarchy of a team n u still t best go BUCS.

I’ve severed for 7 years and I’m still active. I don’t understand why people took it so wrong. I understand what he met by saying it’s like a deployment. We leave our families and so do NFL guys. Obviously they don’t for 9-12 months at a time but I still understand what he means. I myself took no offense to what he said.

@@miketampabay9446 You better check out his passing stats pal - In his first 6 games of 2019 he threw for 1500 yards and 11 TD's and at the end of the season he threw for more yards in 2019 than both Mahomes and Rodgers did. Brady dealt with a calf injury at the beginning of the season, spending parts of Week 3 and Week 4 on the injury report. Brady was on the injury report for the last four weeks with the elbow injury. He’s was limited to only 3 full practices in the teams final 4 weeks.. And The Patriots went to a run first offense to counter for Brady's injury's the last half of the season. (And you are saying 2019 was a terrible season?) Most QB's wouldn't even be playing
Prior to the elbow injury, Brady was averaging 281.8 passing yards per game. Since that injury, Brady is averaging 203.3 passing yards per game. Brady was also dealing with a severe toe injury most of the 2019 season also

I spent 7 years in the army, two combat tours, being shot at in both tours and hit in one of them. Frankly, I can't understand anybody being so upset about Brady's comment. Didn't bother me at all - didn't register as anything more than what he was referring to - being away, doing a job. But maybe I need to take a few courses in "How to Act Offended."

He was “relocated,” sent packing, and most of us know the reason why. He was a shining star under the Belichick system. But, his star was shining too bright for the comfort of other egos.
Brady is 45 and it is falling apart for many reasons.

Here's my two cents. Brady is coming off the ball more conscious of the pass rush, and his accuracy and arm strength are a little different than the past. I blame coaching however on their woes to a certain extent. They are designing plays for the team Tampa used to be. They need to tuck the routes tighter, and do better at little things like interior blocking so they move the chains with running plays. The way it is now Brady is throwing into traffic quite a bit in desperation. Design plays for the team you have now, not 2020! These guys are the pros, and I'm armchair, so do your thing guys.

As I sit here and see this man say a mistake of words yes but my son is a US Marine and struggles to pay for his boots his uniform his blues when he has a event to attend the barracks at camp Lejeune is filled with mold I wish he would pick a few of our military and show them that he wants to make their lives a little easier because his life is nothing like what they struggle to be our heroes for his freedom to play football. There was no need to apologize for the comparison; not one bit. It is 100% FINE to compare things in a specific area while not in totality. Sports and the military are very similar in SOME specific ways, just not the stakes, at all. Tom wasn't comparing the stakes and scope, he was comparing them in a very small specific area, and anyone who twists what he said to dishonestly smear him is an idiot.
