The whole song structure is so beautiful and it takes you on a really short but sweet journey. Each part fills you with a different set of emotions that all kind of hold hands together at the end as one. I really like the call-and-answer melodies that go from high to low just like a birdsong. The way the second voice echoes the melody slightly later makes it sound like a beautiful ghost haunting the song, standing just behind and following it, echoing what once was. It's all really beautiful and it's the kind of song that you listen to with your soul rather than your ears. Those kinds of songs are rare. The video reminded me of how simple and fun life can be. It doesn't need to be anything grandiose. It's beautiful in its own unique way. Glad I listened to Spotify's Fresh Finds that day.

I got introduced to Babehoven through this song by the RUclips algorithm… I’ve listened to a few others but this “Birdseye” is outstanding and totally remarkable in a beautiful way. It has me hooked on repeat and gives me some Shoegaze vibes like that unreleased song from Slowdive called “Sleep”. But to compare this song to anything is an injustice. Love it, found a new favourite music artist which could influence my future music and music videos. Thanks for this amazing song and video, truly awesome. Come tour the UK when you can!
