Could Legendary Godzilla Survive The Heisei Era

- A video essay on if legendary godzilla could survive in the heisei godzilla era of films.
And yes, this video is based on @GodzillaGuyy video about legendary godzilla in the heisei era, although I didn't really watch it so I don't know if anything in his video is similar to mine.
The thumbnail art is drawn by me, and I sang the outro song. - Кино
Something that wasn't brought up, MonsterVerse Godzilla is way more mobile and tactical than Heisei Godzilla. His atomic breath may not be as powerful, but he uses everything he has to win
That's not entirely true, Heisei Godzilla was able to figure out SpaceGodzilla's weaknesses, being able to destroy his crystals and towers as well as draining his energy.
He was also able to trick spacegodzilla by falling down and shooting his atomic breath so spacegodzilla couldn't block it with his sheild.
He also did this against mechagodzilla and mechaking ghidorah. Where as when Legendary Godzilla was thrown to the ground, he did not shoot mechagodzilla with his laser. And he does not seem to use his atomic breath as strategically as Heisei godzilla.
@@GSTE_ I mean about the beam part you're right about, bro just throws it out there(ever since MV Goji jump punched scylla, I am getting delusional thinking monsterverse Goji can do the slidekick)
What about legendary’s evolved form?
@@Anonymous-hi2lc The fact that he couldn't hit Kong with his atomic says everything that needs to be said.
Meanwhile Heisei Godzilla was almost able to Rodan while he was flying at his fastest speeds of Mach 3 or 2,300 Miles per hour.
Heisei Godzilla after not being able to hit rodan with atomic breath, laid a trap for him and successfully tricked rodan into getting close.
Legendary Godzilla has not shown this amount of intelligence in his combat, and I would say he became less intelligent in Godzilla x Kong.
@@GSTE_Honestly Godzilla has been downplayed like crazy since GvK and him not being able to hit Kong in his evolved form in GxK was some of the craziest plot armor for Kong I’ve ever seen.
Maybe if he says “I think I can I think I can” he will.
I don't see Legendary Godzilla trying to harm mothra when he trusts her more than any kaiju if anything he would have the same relationship he does with the Monsterverse mothra
yea I don't think so as these are two different versions of the character
the lore of heisei mothra would need to be changed for that to happen too
I am really glad to see that you don’t downplay Heisei Godzilla/Kaiju OR MonsterVerse Godzilla.
Bro legendary Godzilla was nerf and his durability and strength was downplayed in this video and this video is most bias against MV Godzilla legendary Godzilla would win in the H era with mid to high difficulty and the mid to high difficulty would be from DESTROYAH and spacegodzilla
I mean he's just being honest
Even if he's avoiding power scaling and just using on-screen feats , Heisai has shown more powerful feats ,
The broken tectonic plates-Battra
The cell surviving a black hole - Space Godzilla
Was about to blow up the world - Burning Godzilla
MV Godzilla hasn't shown anything that casual yet dangerous, maybe besides him tunneling to the hollow Earth with his atomic breath and even then he was weakened because of it , heisai could possibly do the same , and not be tired
It's not that he's down playing, The Heisai series is built Different
Ps. I enjoy both series
@@arcticwarriors7014 so with my previous vid on legendary godzilla I was biased against showa godzila and now I'm biased against legendary godzilla.
Just because I didn't think he would win against all the monsters doesn't mean I'm biased against or for him.
If anything you could say I made the heisei monsters weaker to fight legendary godzilla.
@@GSTE_ I don’t believe you made that h kaiju weaker plus in order for H Godzilla atomic breath to be evenly matched with legendary Godzilla atomic breath he would need to be in his burning form and don’t believe me that you downplay legendary Godzilla and made him weaker and ignore his durability and strength feats look at this video FDA goes over all legendary Godzilla feats ruclips.net/video/iUpf-CiIgDM/видео.htmlsi=JIHO-bySDvZLqS1u
@@arcticwarriors7014 You mean legendary godzilla's durability of when he got a huge burn after he lost the beam clash with mechagodzilla 2021? Heisei, in one of his weakest forms, tanked his own beam x10,000 without a scratch. Legendary and Heisei's atomic breath are both 500k degrees celsius at base. Let's say that mv Godzilla was around 40% when he fought mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla 2021 still struggled to overpower legendary and needed to output extra energy in order win the beam clash. Since legendary godzilla and mechagodzilla 2021 were equal in terms of beam power and heat. It is safe to say that mechagodzilla's beam was no higher than 1 million degrees celsius in temperature. But heisei godzilla tanked his own beam x10,000 which is 5 billion degrees in temperature and power. Durability easily goes to heisei godzilla. Not mentioning that heisei grew 200x stronger between 1989 and 1991.
In terms of strength, legendary's best feat was carrying the ~119,000 ton muto prime on his back. But heisei godzilla was able to throw the 150,000 metric ton super mecha godzilla and ragdolling the 70,000 metric ton king ghidorah. If I'm being honest, battera would probably beat legendary just because of the dwarf star level feat of it stopping a planet busting astroid and almost being on par with heisei godzilla.
Don't think legendary would ever stand a chance against dest and space, space would just fire his light speed crystals at legendary and dest would just slice him in half. The reason burning godzilla didn't die to dest's variable slicer is because of his insane regen, I don't think legendary has that level of regen.
(I could write alot longer than this but I prefer not to cuz it's gonna be a waste of my time)
You also forgot that Battra is more durable than Godzilla and can destroy the biggest asteroids. He would poss a larger threat than Mothra.
If you mean he's more durable than heisei godzilla, then that wasn't what the film showed,
@@GSTE_ no, he's more durable than mv. He tanked 7 atomic breaths from Heisei even when his wound was cut open. Battra's prism beams as I said were able to one shot asteroids said by the ferries. Battra would be a greater threat than Mothra due to him being more powerful and durable.
@@UKRAINEMapping yet this video is without powerscaling
@@Xeno91 yeah but he used on screen feats. Those were Battra's in screen feats.
@@UKRAINEMapping not technically, it was only said battra would stop the meteor from hitting earth. It wasn't said that he could take the full force of it's impact.
"Greatest plot armor I've ever seen" 😂
Spacegodzilla vs Destroyah would be very interesting
Not really, Destoroyah handled an atomic breath far stronger than what destroyed SpaceGodzilla. Not to mention Destoroyah was able to physically overpower Godzilla to a greater extent than SpaceGodzilla.
@@GSTE_ It’s worth mentioning that that was only after Moguera destroyed the crystal on Space-G’s shoulder.
And that’s not even mentioning Moguera’s “burrowing” counterpart that destroyed the ‘crystal tower’ Space-G was drawing power from. That shield Space-G used to protect itself was pretty op. (It’s the same shield we see brushing off all of Godzilla’s attacks rather effortlessly.) And Space-G lost that shield in addition to several other abilities once that tower was taken down.
In essence: Spacegodzilla wins so long as Destroyah doesn’t figure out how to weaken it. And I doubt the odds of that ever happening.
@@pn5705 SpaceGodzilla's crystals only gave him power, what Destoroyah has shown in the film is that he attacks when a monster isn't prepared.
The fact that his chest literally exploded the first time he got hit with Burning Godzilla's atomic breath and then a few minutes later his atomic breath barely did any physical damage.
This also isn't considering Godzilla's atomic breath was reaching his core energy at this point.
Destoroyah's mutation would easily be fast enough to destroy SpaceGodzilla if he even needed to mutate. SpaceGodzilla's might have his crystal shoulders cut off by Destoroyah's horn laser, considering it cut through Godzilla's body.
@@GSTE_ Oh, don’t get me wrong. If Destroyah can manage to cut off those shoulder crystals, then Destro’s victory is guaranteed.
The problem, however, is that overpowered shield Space-G uses to deflect and block all forms of attacks. From what we saw, there doesn’t seem to be a limit to that shield as we’ve never seen it fail to defend Space-G when they call upon it.
But as you said, if Destro can manage to surprise Space-G and just so happen to slice off a shoulder crystal or two BEFORE Space-G can bring up that shield, since we know it’s not a passive thing, that’s a wrap.
Space-G is NOT gifted in melee combat, as we’ve seen. The best it can do is use that tail and add “shock damage” to its swipes, though there’s no “shock damage” if there’s no power being drawn.
In short: Space-G is like an overpowered mage. Depower and close the distance, and Space-G is virtually helpless. But if Space-G has Destro in its sights AND is at full power, Destro is getting washed-I see no way for Destro to pull out a victory.
@@pn5705 SpaceGodzilla's shield was only shown to deflect Godzilla's atomic breath. Against Moguera in any of it's missiles or lasers SpaceGodzilla did not deflect it.
Also SpaceGodzilla was able to use his electric powers even after having his two main power sources destroyed.
He was also able to hover over the ground and circle Godzilla while shooting lasers.
The claim about SpaceGodzilla being helpless after loosing his power source goes against what the film itself shows.
Throughout his fight with Moguera, SpaceGodzilla's lasers at most were able to knock Moguera out. After loosing his crystal tower and his one shoulder, one blast of his laser cut off Moguera's hand.
Also after loosing the other crystal he was able to pick up the 160,000 metric ton Moguera and throw him into a building.
But the physical strength and power difference between SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah is far too great for any of SpaceGodzilla's abilities to matter.
I haven't watched the full video YET but I am 3 minutes into it and there's a few things wrong.
The biollante fight would've gone much differently, since this whether or not MV could survive the heisei era, I think the first form of biollante should be included, since heisei g did fight that form. A single one of either Biollante's, or Heisei G's cells did enter a blackhole in vs space Godzilla and it is technically shown on screen. Because you aren't scaling this would leave out statements of hollow earth portals being similar to blackholes which would make the 2nd form of biollante a lot harder for legendary godzilla to fight against.
For battra and mothra, their adult forms are implied to be able to one shot kaiju that could hold up with their larvae form. The reason why Heisei Godzilla wasn't obliterated by them was because Heisei G gets stronger over time by a huge amount.
Heisei Godzilla Cells have a habit of getting to the strangest of places I've noted internally.
The only reason why MV fans would think Legendary Godzilla wins is due to heisei’s animation being so goofy and toy-like, if Destroyah, Supermechagodzilla, and spacegodzilla were in hollywood live action they would be terrifying
I don't think Heisei Godzilla's animation is goofy or toylike. Also even if they were done with more modern technology it wouldn't matter. Just look at Final wars.

Man I know we were talking on another video about powerscaling in general, and you know I don't like it. But I gotta say, you may be the only Gojituber who is fair to BOTH sides. I actually like your powerscaling content. You point things out that most overlook, and you use information known for your reasoning rather then straight up speculation and head canon. Well done good sir!
Thanks, I try my best to do that.
I learned a lot of that from my time talking about Godzilla movies, a lot of people miss things despite them being shown in the films.
fr, just take a look at Godzilla guy underrating heisei vs the heisei fans overrating heisei, I mean Godzilla guy still makes good content but yk

Idk about you but i think the Monsterverse should conclude with a final fight between Godzilla and Destroyah
Heisei Era was the "What if we made everything OP and see how it all turns out?" Era lol
Legendary Godzilla total canon includes comics and novels as well. Both which have GZ tanking the asteroid impact that split the super continent, 14 megaton nuke Castle Bravo, Contenantal plate moving Muto Prime, as well multiple times stated energy output to dying stars and red stars.
There are no statements in the films saying his power output. But it was said in the films how powerful SpaceGodzlilla was.
With him being exposed to the power of multiple supernovas.
Castle Bravo was 15 MT, not 14. Just an FYI
Great video, very honest and factual.
Monster verse Godzilla fighting against destroyah would be a death wish 💀
I feel like some key points were left out of this video, so I’ll point those out to aid in the discussion of wether Legendary Godzilla could survive the Heisei era kaiju. From what’s explained more in detail in the novelizations on Legendary Godzilla’s radiation absorption and the like, he wouldn’t take much to any damage from any other Heisei kaiju that projected similar kinds of attacks to his atomic breath, or pulse. Striking out Heisei Godzilla and any of the Super X variants, Moguera or Mecha-G as viable contenders (save for their missiles), as Legendary Godzilla is more than able to fight all of the Heisei monsters in hand to hand very easily. The only ones that would give him much more difficulty would be Space Godzilla and Destroyah, Destroyah more so since it doesn’t have anything to do with radiation ever, shape shifting, splitting itself into multiple bodies of itself, and flight, and Space Godzilla has psychic powers and flight at his disposal. Additionally, Legendary Godzilla is much more calculating than Heisei Godzilla, and is more in line to Showa in intellect (as an example, team working capabilities and recalling past experiences in more detail) where Heisei has never shown this kind of thinking save for in Godzilla vs King Ghidora/Mecha King Ghidora where he blasts a familiar WW2 Japanese veteran. As for durability, we’ve seen Legendary Godzilla on screen, tank his own mass times speed and gravity in his fall from iirc, in between the mesosphere and the stratosphere would equate roughly (from what I could find) to 990,000,000,018.01 N if not more at max velocity. I couldn’t find a calculator to equate that in TNT, if anyone can provide that, that would be swell. This would also apply from the intense heat he experienced from his Thermonuclear form, of which is close or in the sun levels of heat judging on how the buildings melt when near him. Hope this additional detail helps, gonna go to bed now.🛌
Heisei Godzilla is also able to absorb energy, sometimes while he is fighting. Not just after.
Legendary Godzilla has not shown energy absorption on a similar level to heisei godzilla, meaning it wouldn't affect his fight against the monsters.
Also as shown in the vid he is weak to the power of his own atomic breath or mechagodzila laser. Which both are energy weapons, yet they burnt his skin and injured him, showing he can't absorb lasers or fast energy weapons.
Heisei Godzilla may not have direct intelligence, but he has something far better. Fighting intelligence. Heisei Godzilla is able to figure out the weakness of a monster as shown throughout the series.
And if a certain attack doesn't work he goes for other attacks or approaches. Such as his draining spacegodzilla's energy by biting him, and destroying his tower and crystals.
Also heisei godzilla tricks monsters by shooting his atomic breath when he is on the ground or falling to the ground in order to hit them when they aren't prepared.
Legendary Godzilla has not shown this, especially when he if he did it could have ended the fight a lot sooner.
The comic never showed the asteroid hitting godzilla. What it showed was the asterioid going over the mountains, while Godzilla was on the ground below.
But even considering he did take that hit, which wasn't shown. SpaceGodzilla's origin was being exposed to the power of multiple supernovas.
Also Thermonuclear Godzilla's pulses never had a stated temperature, making calculations for that would be like making calculations for how hot Godzilla's atomic breath would be to hurt SpaceGodzilla since he wasn't affected by a supernova.
@@GSTE_ Just a correction for a few points here, Legendary Goji had not taken any attacks from himself or his own kind, unless you're referring to the Axe that Kong wielded, which didn't produce an atomic attack, but a physical slice/stabbing attack, of which can emit a attack similar looking to a nuclear pulse if overcharged. As for Legendary Mechagodzilla's Proton Scream, it has an energy yield output of 4.10 x 1080 (1216) joules (sources mention at the very likelihood of this being a misprint, nor do I personally know electrical measurements and the like), of which both are different types of energy, normally you'd be correct if it was straight up just a normal laser weapon, but specificity would conclude that a reflection (in the Super x's, Moguera and Heisei Mecha G in particular) of X type of energy, amplified would result in it still being the same type of energy.
For how fast Legendary Godzilla can absorb energy, (and to Heisei Godzilla as well) sure, neither can absorb so much times their preferred meal instantly as both would get knocked back from anything like that, though in the recent movie Godzilla X Kong: New Empire, the humans state and show that Godzilla absorbs all of the energy collected in Tiamat's lair within Antarctica after he offed Tiamat, whilst time isn't specified, could be within an hour or two, and again in KOTM, he instantly gets fully charged when a nuke gets blown up in front of him. Both Heisei and Legendary can absorb radiation via proximity, but much more slowly unless if either were to solely concentrate on absorbing it.
The fighting intelligence for Heisei Godzilla always struck me more as a "Fuck you" when he is falling over or when blasting another kaiju when he was tossed or flattened earlier, more than him actually thinking the attack through. An example to go against him being up close to Biollante to be in range of piercing plant matter in his left or right hand, and being sprayed with acidic breath.
Legendary has never really needed trickery to defeat his enemies, as his personality, millions of years of experience, and his pride wouldn't allow him to stoop so low.
I actually have the comics myself as well and would agree on the panel not directly show the meteor hitting him, but being near enough (as much as a theoretical origin story goes) to be within the worst of the shockwaves from the impact is still a fine enough feat.
For concrete buildings to start melting would be at 1150 - 1200 degrees Celsius, or 2102 - 2192 Fahrenheit, so I'd roughly estimate it to be 5x more (slightly more than the surface of the sun) for how quickly the buildings melt especially since they'd likely have steel supports within. This is how hot Legendary Thermonuclear/Burning Godzilla would be.
@@elderbrute Legendary Godzilla was knocked out from his atomic breath shooting at Kong's axe. As well as him being hurt by mechagodzilla's laser about as much.
This shows he cannot handle the power of his own atomic breath.
Also Mechagodzilla 2 is stated to be able to absorb Godzilla's atomic breath through his armor and shoot it back multiple times more powerful.
Other showings of Heisei Godzilla handling his own power is when SpaceGodzilla reflects his own atomic breath at him and it does nothing. But SpaceGodzilla's laser is able to knock him down.
Also Heisei Godzilla is able to instantly drain energy whether or not he focuses on it. As shown when he gradually gets stronger while fighting spacegodzilla. Or Godzilla jr absorbs all of Burning Godzilla radiation in seconds.
Heisei Godzilla does intentionally use his atomic breath when a monster can't react to it. He has done it against mechagodzilla where he acted still, but used his atomic breath on the ground without warning.
He did this to spacegodzilla as well while he was falling or while he was already on the ground. He also figured out that destroying spacegodzilla's crystals and tower was the way to stop him.
Heisei godzilla's intelligence is also shown when he tricks rodan into getting close, but slaps him with his tail when he's close enough.
It also showed certain monsters were underwater or underground during the explosion, meaning Legendary Godzilla could have went underwater. So with nothing really showing he took the hit, that can't really be used to show his durability.
As for Thermonuclear godzillla, there were still a lot of buildings around them, as well as statues right where Godzilla fell down.
God this video just reminded me how much i want the Heisei era monsters to come into the Monsterverse. I like the Legendary monsters alot, like MUTO and Shimo, but god a big budget Destroyah and Biollante would be amazing to see. Hell, the Hollow Earth setting is the perfect location to introduce Megalon.
You should do a video on which monsters from the Godzilla franchise that you want Legendary to bring into the modern films, and who you’d have them fight since Kong and Mothra are players in the game.
nice video as always
Man, I absolutely love these videos. Also I hope Biolante(?) appears in the new season of the Monarch show, I wanna see her in the Monsterverse so bad 😭

If MV Godzilla was thermonuclear, he could solo most enemies
I really think MV is stronger than heisei. You are welcome to prove me wrong but MV godzilla has shown much better feats than heisei in the power scalings most heisei fans use. MV godzilla can really beat most of heisei villians if he tries like he always does
Thanks for the fun video. I wonder if Monsterverse Godzilla would hold up against Super X2 or even Super X3? (Even though not technically in the Heisei era, even dealing with Super X and its Cadmium missiles ). As witnessed with his Monsterverse fight with MechaG in KvG, powerful missiles can take a toll. The Fire Mirror and later the ULT Freeze ray would be fun to watch.
Well I don't think monsterverse godzilla would have much chance. The super x2 was able to reflect godzilla's atomic breath thousands of times more powerful.
Legendary Godzilla has shown to be weak to just the power of his own atomic breath.
The super x3 was able to lower Burning Godzilla's fission almost back to normal and was able to help stop him from melting the earth. I don't think legendary godzilla would have much chance against either of them.
@@GSTE_ That's a great take. It is very interesting when you have these types of thoughts. As you said, Legendary has certain strengths like mobility and his speed which could help him maneuver - as well as the power of his tail. The Super X iterations' arsenal could definitely be lethal to him because they can keep a distance as well as Legendary's susceptibility to certain physical or beam/missile attacks. Yet, if he was able to maneuver around and get a strong tail swipe, it could knock them out of commission for the battle or worse. Thanks again for the fun video and take.
"I'm not gonna use power scaling"
>uses power scaling comparing space godzilla lifting mougera vs legendary godzilla lifting muto prime
That's not what most people consider power scaling.
Also I mentioned muto prime due to everyone saying it in a previous vid I did. But still it shows about the same as Legendary Godzilla's other showings of strength.
And yes direct comparisons are very helpful when comparing monsters, which is why I showed SpaceGodzilla lifting Moguera.
Now if I was using powerscaling I would say that SpaceGodzilla could destroy Legendary Godzilla in one hit. But I'm more basing things off of the films, and certain things outside the films not leaning one way or another.

People saying shin would win but shin lost to mere humans, shin probably dies immediately since he doesnt know how to fight
now that MV Goji got an upgrade, you should make a rematch starting with MechaG
So. With every new film, Legendary Godzilla changes in a way that helps him adapt to fights. What about doing a similar video to this, but going over the adaptations he’d need to go through in order to stand a chance against these enemies? And what order you’d have him fight each one?
Should Battra be a Mothra arch enemy or should he fight Godzilla in the event that Legendary uses him?
I don't think even with any adaptations he could get past MechaGodzilla 2.
With MechaGodzilla 2 not being affected by atomic breath, and being able to shoot an atomic breath back multiple times more powerful.
@@GSTE_ they would definitely have to wait a while before bringing back mecha Godzilla.
nah legendary godzilla would win bc plot armor
Heisei Godzilla easily had the most plot armor out of any godzilla.
He was able to survive his own atomic breath 10,000 times more powerful, he was able to beat a monster that handled the energy from multiple supernovas, he shrugged off being impaled multiple times, and he was able to swim through lava underground.
As well as many other things, plot armor wouldn't get legendary godzilla past mechagodzilla 2.
When it comes to my opinions on the video's analysis, I think there are a few errors that I think would benefit Legendary Goji better.
The biggest thing is that Legendary Goji behaves very differently to Heisei Goji. Heisei Goji, from observations in the movies, follows largely basic animal instincts, and not too much else to show that he is actively using higher thought. Legendary Goji has shown a higher average intelligence, even going as far as actively planning ahead for threats in GvK.
Secondly, their builds are completely different. Heisei Goji relies a lot on his Atomic Breath and ranged capabilities, which most of the Monsters he has gone against in the Heisei Era have a counter to. Legendary Goji is much more physical and agile in his methods, preferring to oftentimes use brute force over his Atomic Breath unless they are out of range for his physical attacks.
Third is temperment. Heisei Goji a lot of time starts by causing problems before the main antagonist of the movie makes themselves known. Legendary Goji is out of the way until a threat makes themselves known, and doesn’t things without reason.
As for the match-ups themselves? Legendary would do better against Biolante due to his heavier mass (nearly 100 thousand metric tons), more physically inclined build, and less reliance on his Atomic Breath or Pulse. Mothra would likely be equal to before, as well as Battra unless Legendary Goji takes things seriously from the beginning. Rodan would struggle against Legendary Goji because of the heightened agility and speed Legendary brings to the table. The same goes to Fire Rodan for the same reason, but they would be more even.
King Ghidorah would probably be easier to deal with to the point where Mecha King Ghidorah wouldn't even be a thing. Again, Legendary's mass would be useful in this as he would have a huge weight advantage over Ghidorah.
Where Legendary would begin to falter would be with MechaGodzilla 2, Space Godzilla, and Desotroyah. Legendary isn’t quite as durable, and endurance is also something that Legendary doesn't have compared to Heisei in most cases.
Overall, Legendary would have an advantage against those in the beginning, but would have a lower upper ceiling compared to Heisei unless Legendary took things seriously, and ended fights fast.
Although Legendary Godzilla is intelligent, he doesn't use this in his combat. With him charging at a monster putting himself in danger. Where Heisei Godzilla uses his other powers with physical combat being the second option.
Heisei Godzilla does not always attack the monsters right away, although he does sometimes, most of the time they either attack him or there is a good reason for him attacking.
Biollante shot it's vines at Godzilla, causing him to react with atomic breath. King ghidorah, Battra, MechaGodzilla 2, and Destoroyah attacked Godzilla first.
With his reason for attacking SpaceGodzilla being that Spacegodzilla was attacking his son.
So the statement that Heisei Godzilla starts problems before anything happens is not correct.
Legendary Godzilla weighs 90,378 metric tons, while Biollante weighs 220,000 Metric tons.
Also if Legendary Godzilla did not use his atomic breath he wouldn't stand a chance against Biollante. With Biollante's weakness being Godzilla's atomic breath causing Biollante's regeneration to stop.
Also a 10,000 metric ton difference between King ghidorah and Legendary Godzilla is not that much. Especially when King ghidorah was shown to be able to physically overpower Godzilla, who was able to easily lift King ghidorah multiple times.

Kong used the environment and human help. If it was in a flat grass field and without beast glove, the fight would've been way different [I love kong though!] Heise monsters are also very slow, legendary is very strong and very fast for his size plus his atomic breathe is much stronger
Fyi: Love your content, and keep up the great work! 🦖
@@its_a_gift Kong was able to go toe to toe with a "stronger version" of godzilla. Being able to knock him out and beat him up for a little while.
While it is true the Heisei monsters are slow, their strength and power easily makes up for that.
MechaGodzilla, SpaceGodzilla, and Destoroyah have shown greater durability than any thing in the monsterverse. And it's not even close.
Battra who was destroyed by a few blasts of atomic breath was able to handle being slammed onto the ground hard enough to crack the earth open. And this was done underwater.
Mechagodzilla 2 was able to support his full weight just from his neck. SpaceGodzilla was handled the energy from multiple supernovas and flew faster than light speed as shown by the planets he flew past.
Legendary Godzilla's atomic breath was as effective on Skar king as it was on kong in 2021. And Skar king is much weaker than Kong.
The main thing he gained from his powerup was more energy, but this does not mean he is more powerful, just that he has a larger energy reserve.
The fact is that Legendary Godzilla has not shown the strength, durability, or power to even get past MechaGodzilla 2.
@@GSTE_ to be fair I feel Godzilla was caught of guard as in the novel it was described that Kong was holding back to not fight Godzilla but had enough and started fighting Godzilla out of no where which I assume caught him well of guard.

I will never understand the people trying to defend MV Goji, your statements covered most if not all aspects in an encounter against each Kaiju, even giving MV Goji the benefit of the doubt by putting him in various scenarios he could somehow be in even if he was at a great disadvantage.
The key difference between MV and Heisei's environment is that MV still somehow sticks closer to the laws of physics, using various rules of the world's natural environment to make each creature feel believable and fantastical, while Heisei was (for a lack of a better term) more leaning into pure fiction that pushes the boundaries of bullshit powers and random numbers go brr. It'd be no surprise MV Goji would fold after MG2 or SuperMG and so on, and your video thoroughly covers it, which is why I don't understand why people are trying to defend MV Goji and saying you're biased when it seems like the opposite.
This arguement is the same as trying to say an animal we know in real life can beat an animal that exists only in nordic mythology, doesn't make much sense does it?
Well you'll get that even if I said Legendary Godzilla beats every monster. You'll have people saying I'm a legendary godzilla fan, or that I am biased against the heisei era.
Sometimes I'll even get one person saying I'm biased against Legendary Godzilla for someone to say 5 minutes later that I'm a legendary godzilla "fan boy".
@@GSTE_ This feels like dragonball all over again, Heisei is the equivalent of Dragonball GT while MV is the DBS of Godzilla's incarnates. 0:17 first off power scaling isn't something that's preset it's a measurement tool for how strong something can be so by saying whenever something's shown on screen that that's what you're going to measure strength by that is still power scaling
Also oftentimes whenever power scaling is done properly it's actually very much the truth of what's going on and even if you just use what's on screen and what is narratively implied most Godzilla universes before the modern era stomp everything that's in the current ERA
Only recently whenever stuff like Altima Godzilla Earth and the stronger versions of legendary Godzilla have actually been able to start standing up against stuff in the millennium era
But big monster
Powerscaling, or mostly what it is well known for is taking statements in and outside of the film to show how strong a monster is. While sometimes it's good, a lot of times it's inconsistent and doesn't make sense.
I don't mind people using it, but I just don't.
I mostly go by what the films show, and only use official statements like height and weight if they don't contradict what the films show or say.
@@GSTE_ actually power scaling only does that whenever the statements can be proven to be consistent
There is high and scaling where we take all statements into effect but most commonly if you watch any videos about power scaling properly then the only statements that are usually accepted are ones that can be consistently proven with stuff in the actual movies
In regardless if you use statements or not measuring a monster strength durability or any other kind of thing is still a part of power scaling
@@GSTE_death battle ruined powerscaling for me when they made guts and dimitri faster than sound and said dimitri was comparable to a light javelin which they also wanked by ignoring shambala crater( aka the one rhea survived in the first place.)
@@ColgateGator "Without" scaling Heisei still stomps.
Scaling is a tool used to measure(in most cases fictional characters) events happening. Scaling, although not typically reffered to as it, is pretty common. For example, measuring the force of an atomic bomb, calculating the energy output of a star, and deciding a winner in a MMA match are all just common places you see it.
So essentially if you're not using scaling, you're just mashing opinions at each-other with nothing to back them up.

@@EricStevenTerry Ok, well I have shown Legendary Godzilla's greatest lifting feat, while in a previous vid I explained Heisei Godzilla's multiple showings of strength.
@@GSTE_ I apologize if I sound disrespectful, but, I do have to ask if you are only measuring strength by lifting power. I'm just thinking that Hesei was never able to cave in another monter's chest with just a stomp. You may be including that in agility, though.
@@EricStevenTerry Well that's mostly because the monsters he fought weren't that vulnerable.
His fight against Battra being a good example of Heisei Godzilla's strength.
Being underwater limits the impact of really anything, requiring much more strength in a movement for it to do anything.
Despite this limitation Godzilla was able to slam Battra into the ground so hard that it split the earth open leaving Godzilla and Battra to fall into an underwater volcano.
Heisei Godzilla's physical attacks like his stomps were also able to almost break MechaGodzilla 2's joints.
Which the joints were shown to be so strong that Godzilla was able to lift MechaGodzilla just by his head.
I have a question, do you think Evolved Godzilla would make a difference against the monsters in the Heisei Era that he lost against in this video? This answer most likely will be answered in like 1 week.
I don't really think it will make a difference, unless his atomic breath is 100 times stronger. And he is suddenly able to lift more than 160,000 metric tons.
The only difference I see is that he can move faster, and he is a lot skinnier, which could actually be a problem for him. Since his weight and size was a major factor in his physical combat against monsters.
I don't know if you remember how strong legendaries atomic breath is I was able to make it to the core of the Earth 🌍
@@GSTE_ thank you for answering.
Well, it is said that his power became 20x more powerful than his base form, and the fact that he evolved makes me think about the possibility of him evolving and adapting to the hensei era universe together with others, similar to Shin Godzilla, but of course it would take time for that to happen

Honestly
No.
Even when taking this inaccurate approach
He has no ability to put Biollante down, his regeneration is too quick it puts Legendary Ghidorah to shame and he shrugged off objectively fatal wounds (all Toho material refers to Bio as a male) so would run out of energy and lose here.
For Ghidorah, he'd be unable to get that decapitation unless he somehow got the fight to the sea. The fact Heisei resorted to the spiral beam, which is much stronger than the base beam, should speak volumes. Base blasts were either shrugged off or blocked before this. And unlike Heisei, Legendary doesn't get stronger as he fights, he gets weaker. So he loses here again.
Yeah he's getting bullied by Battra. Battra shrugged off power output beyond Legendary's as a larva, let alone an adult. The continent splitting feat (they sunk beneath the Earth's mantle and some stuff implies the core) is performed WAY more casually and doesn't do anything to Battra. Mass doesn't matter in these fights, Battra rivaled the Godzilla who did that with just his hands. Massive ranged attacks, electric shocks when close, poison, etc all let Battra and Mothra DOMINATE this fight. Mothra physically matched Heisei, so strength is a no go. That "dust" is poison. And without a usable pulse that amps his power, he's screwed They even took down a much stronger Godzilla who's WAY less vulnerable to stuff like toxins and biological warfare.
Plasma Grenade is an instant kill. MV Godzilla cannot take his own power x 10,000 (Super X 2 is this and Plasma Grenade>), he will die.

Legendary powerful at base lvl. However, he only beat Ghidorah after getting juiced and after Mothra boost. Mecha-G was tag team effort. In GxK he had to go around and charge up for upcoming battle(s). SpaceGodzilla & Destroyah would be the kaijus to take him out
Honestly Legendary Godzilla is the largest Godzilla next to Shin I think he can take the Heisei Era, Biolantte would give him trouble due to environment advantage and Destroyah is going to get cooked.
So your saying literally the weakest monster in the heisei era (biollante) would have a better chance than the strongest monster not only in the heisei films but in the franchise.
Legendary Godzilla is 120 meters tall, the same size as spacegodzilla and some other heisei monsters. There is barely not much size difference. Destoroyah literally has the ability to mutate in minutes becoming immune to any attack. Meanwhile Biollante's body breaks down completely from godzilla's atomic breath.
@@GSTE_ Destroyah is also weak to extreme temperatures and was knocked back by an atomic breath. Either way I hope SpaceGodzilla or Destoroyah gets put in a movie where it does justice to the original films.
Do a video on if legendary Godzilla can survive the millennium era
Great video but let me fix one thing legendary Godzilla physical strength is way greater than heisei goji but less durable
Legendary Godzilla has not shown greater physical strength than Heisei Godzilla has. He may be faster, but that doesn't make him stronger.
@@GSTE_ it’s your opinion so I won’t argue + I’m sick so that a nother reason I won’t argue right now
Heisei Godzilla slit continents by accident when fighting battra.
Not true. Heisei was able to walk/swim through the pressure of a volcanic magma chamber beneath the earths crust. Legendary has never done anything like that.
I would love to see a pt2 for Heisei era like thermo or pink Godzilla from GxK
8:24. excuse me what, he started ragdoll in MV King Ghidorah. Who literally weighs about 140,000 metric tons. (I’m not power scaling)
I’m not saying he would make it through the entire era. But I’m just bringing this part of information up.
That isn't metric tons, that's just regular tons. His weight converted to metric tons would be about 127,000 Metric tons, if that source is true, since multiple sources seem to be contradicting each other.
But being able to push and wrestle something doesn't mean you can lift it vertically into the air and keep it there for multiple seconds. Especially with Moguera still weighing 160,000 metric tons and the ease SpaceGodzilla lifting him I do think shows a huge difference in physical strength.
Short answer for this question hell no
Is it possible for you to make a Hedorah vs. Biollante
I think hedorah vs Destoroyah would be much better since their mutation rate is somewhat similar.
Only real issue I have with this video is a lot of the arguments you make against Legendary Godzilla are using Heisei Godzilla as a base for them while the 2 Godzillas have 1 very clear difference between them (a difference Legendary has againsnt most Godzillas in fact besides maybe the 1998 Hollywood version (granted that one's been demoted from Godzilla to another kaiju, Zilla, in Japan)) and that's Legendary Godzilla is much faster than all of the Toho versions (granted likely due to many of them being men in suit rather than CG but it's a point that still stands in the end). Quite frankly Legendary's agility is like night and day in comparsion to most of Toho's older Godzillas who, for the most part, just mosey on over from point a to point b in their movies (yeah Legendary can amble around slowly too but that's usually when not in combat or at least if he's in combat it's with much weaker enemies, generally humans who don't do shit to him).
Will he win with that aspect against those you said he'd lose to? Probably not, however a lot of the attack you mentioned likely would've gotten dodged by Legendary whereas Heisei would wound up getting hit instead due to being much less agile.
On top of that you mention times that the enemy would take Godzilla into the ocean and then Godzilla would try to get back onto land...I kinda disagree with that as Legendary Godzilla does fight in the water too and may be more effective there than on land tbh (would be interesting if they bring in a Kaiju where most fights would be underwater to see how Legendary handles ocean combat...so far we got Kong vs Godzilla there and Godzilla easily overpowered Kong in that scenario, would've been interesting to see how Godzilla would've handled the MUTOs, King Ghidorah, Rodan, etc there as well as some of these Heisei Kaiju (who knows if Space Godzilla's beams would be as effective underwater or not, same with whether or not they'd be able to react as well).
On top of that Legendary also has the EMP pulse like ability (granted humans may need to nuke Godzilla to make it happen) which was never covered in your video so who knows if it'd be effective or not against some of the anti atomic breath weaponry of some Kaiju/mecha Kaiju. Which I guess also brings one other aspect into the equation: how will Legendary Godzilla's allies (Kong and humans so far) affect the battle as even Heisei had some allies (mainly humans) for the later 2 fights that helped give him the win so yes Legendary's allies should be considered as well as Heisei would've lost without the humans/JSDF involvement (via MOGUERA) against Destroyah/Space Godzilla (which while the humans haven't done much in the Legendary universe by comparison outside of Serizawa sacrificing himself to nuke Godzilla to revive him he does have Kong (and Kong's axe which will likely be very effective against the anti atomic breath measures) and potentially more than just Kong as Kaiju Allies by the end of Godzilla x Kong (haven't watchd the movie but some videos mentioned a fact that may lead to 1 other Kaiju possibly teaming up with Godzilla Legendary as well if threats like Destroyah/Space Godzilla/Mecha Godzilla 2 (who Kong probably almost would be involved with based of Godzilla vs Kong's events) were introduced to Legendary's world).
I'm also not even considering any potential power ups Legendary got in the newest movie (Godzilla x Kong) either as I haven't watched it yet (gonna wait for it to go on demand and rent it...theaters cost too much where I live to justify going for just a one time 2 to 3 hour experience...only 1 time experience worse than it nowadays would be Disneyworld tbh) and it's obvious something changed with him given the pink spines and fin like appendages on his arm (since those look like they'd help swimming it could mean he's gotten a buff for underwater which would mean underwater combat may make Legendary Godzilla much more dangerous than he already was).
The one thing I would be interested to see though is how Legendary would depict these 2 specific Kaiju (Space and Destroyah) in the Monsterverse...will they nerf them too or will they buff Godzilla to adegree needed to take on these monsters if they're as strong or stronger than their Heisei counterparts (at least one buff I can see happening is all of them will probably be much more agile just like all Monsterverse monsters seem to be...granted likely due to CG being able to make monsters that can move as animals like them would be intended to move).
I'm not going to be able to completely respond to everything here due to the length of what you wrote.
But I'll go over some main things.
While Legendary Godzilla is faster, he has not shown to be able to dodge any lasers or really any physical attacks. Legendary Godzilla running head first into a monster leads to him being knocked down or hurt, as shown when Kong almost knocks Godzilla out with a single punch in the new film.
Judging by the fact that mechagodzilla 2 (a robot controlled by humans) was able to hit rodan which can fly at mach 3, I'm almost 100% sure all the lasers from the heisei monsters would connect.
Legendary Godzilla's pulse was only introduced in Godzilla x Kong and I don't like bringing things up that I don't know what I'm talking about.
The thermonuclear form only happened due to mothra giving her life force to Godzilla.
This vid is only if Legendary Godzilla was in the heisei era, without any other things from the legendary era.
It is not known if Heisei Godzilla would have lost to spacegodzilla and destoroyah. Especially since Heisei Godzilla was draining SpaceGodzilla's energy right before moguera destroyed his crystals. And also the fact that in a deleted scene Godzilla instantly disintegrates Destoroyah during his meltdown.
But I do agree Destoroyah would beat Heisei Godzilla in his base form.
Also Destoroyah never went into the water with Godzilla. He flew over the ocean as shown in my vid, and dropped Godzilla into the water.
And I don't like to talk about my thoughts on the current state of the monsterverse but I would not like to see spacegodzilla or destoroyah in the monsterverse due to the lack of quality the newest film has in almost every way.
@@GSTE_ The pulse I'm talking about is the one from Godzilla King of the Monsters that he uses on King Ghidorah. And I also pointed out whether or not it's something that's always usable at his discretion is debatable as we've only seen it used after Serizawa sacrificed himself to nuke Godzilla in King of the Monsters. It wasn't in Godzilla x Kong so I'm not sure why you brought that up in regards to the pulse (seems like you haven't watched it either but from what you said you should've seen King of the Monsters).
I haven't watched Godzilla x Kong so I can't name any new shit Legendary may have gained in that movie either.
Also I never said Destroyah went into the water (had to re-read to make sure), I posed a possibility that Legendary Godzilla bringing any of the Heisei enemies into the water could give Legendary Godzilla a decent edge (probably not enough to win) if he was able to get them into (as in submerged into deep ocean) the water to do underwater combat as Legendary Godzilla has been shown to be able to fight well underwater in his fight with Kong and it'd likely be an advantage against most of Godzillias enemies (from all eras) besides those that are as aquatic as Godzilla or even better in water than him...even if we compare other Godzillas Legendary seems to be the most effective underwater besides maybe 1998's Godzilla (now de-cannonized as just Zilla) and Minus One's Godizlla being about as effective in water as Legendary's (biggest issue with all the past Toho Godzillas is most of them only show land fights of course and many were puppets or actors in costumes thus they weren't able to move as well as the CG Godizilla in Legendary/Minus 1/1998/and a few other 90s/2000s onwards Godzillas that use CG for the Kaijus. As for why underwater may help Legendary against these Heisei era enemies it'd be due to him having even more agility underwater but also the water may have a negative effect on some of the weapons/abilities these kaiju/mecha kaiju have (such as beam like or fire based attacks being diffused underwater (most sci fi movies/shows/books/games/etc that I watch/read/play generally make it so beam weaponry becoming either unusable or losing most effectiveness once underwater...whether or not Godzillia in any era, especially Heisei ever had issues underwater with such attacks is up in the air (can't remember if they address it tbh) or in the case of mecha kaiju who knows how opening missile silos/beam weaponry would work/compromise the hull of the machine at greater ocean depths).
@@ifrit1937 Godzilla does have a nuclear pulse in Godzilla x Kong.
The one he used in King of the monster was only from the energy of mothra, as shown when Mothra is in the nuclear pulse.
The Heisei era is actually one of the only eras to have a battle underwater using lasers and atomic breath, as well as physical attacks.
Godzilla's fight against battra is the best example of this, with Battra being overall pretty slow on land, but being extremely fast underwater.
With Battra being able to swim into Godzilla knocking him over. Battra's lasers were also shown to be as effective against Godzilla as it was above land. And the same for Godzilla's atomic breath.
Also as for the mechas being able to survive in the water, Moguera was able to handle space travel perfectly well.
Despite him only being built to fight Godzilla on land.
And considering that MechaGodzilla 2 is able support his whole body weight with just his head makes a good case for his armor holding up perfectly fine underwater.

I don't really know how kong would do against Godzilla's enemies. Depending on the monster they are built to fight against a monster woken from nuclear weaponry.
So that would be hard to answer.
If SpaceGodzilla uses EMP's that just invalidated MV Godzilla, as the Mutos were able to weaken his breath and stuff with that
I don’t even think legendary Godzilla getting through destroyah and Heisei Godzilla
How is his physicality less than Heisei’s-
Heisei Godzilla was able to lift the 150,000 metric ton MechaGodzilla 2 with barely any leverage. He was able to throw battra on the ground underwater so hard it cracked the earth open into an underground volcano.
Legendary Godzilla's greatest lifting feat was holding up Muto Prime on his back, which weighs 122,000 metric tons.
@GSTE_ True but I'm pretty sure LG could do all that too if he tried
@@user-kh7zx6mn6w Maybe, but not with that little leverage. Even final wars needed to use his other arm as leverage when lifting keizer ghidorah.
The way he lifted mechagodzilla is like if a person were to lift a refrigerator from the very end, lifting it vertically, swinging and throwing it.
This also shows how strong mechagodzilla's head is, that just his neck joint was able to support his entire weight.
@@GSTE_ nah, MV Godzilla did that when he was 2014 version, but in GVK, Godzilla only using his bite could throw 90k tons Kong 500 meters away, only with the power of his small mouth without even Needing to Trying hard, meaning that his arms that are 2 times bigger than his arm would lift like 230k tons alone, and not only that, but using the strength of his own body, he could stop the 600k tons mechagodzilla 200 Meters per second dash, and Godzilla did this without even having to run, meaning that using his own body strength, he could stop 600k tons without running, and About 875k tons running. That means that MV Godzilla is the physically strongest Godzilla, having 3x more Strength than Heisei Godzilla, as Heisei Godzilla used 2 arms to lift 150k tons Mechagodzilla
Also, there are some informations that Prove that MV Godzilla breath could tank Black Holes
And in The Mechagodzilla fight, MV Godzilla survived The Mechagodzilla Beam without even having a scratch, Mechagodzilla Beam in the Beam Clash was able to Overcome Godzilla Charged breath, that was able to make a hole to half of the earth in less than 1 minute and managing to tank a black hole, and Mechagodzilla did that so fast that his breath can be considered 3x stronger than MV Godzilla breath, being MV Godzilla Able survive a breath able to tank like, 3 black holes
So yes, MV Godzilla High diffs Heisei Era
@@ArthurBr1000Oficial As I said in the vid I'm not using powerscaling.
Also there is no official weight for Kong or mechagodzilla.
And also being able to push something doesn't mean you can lift it.
Also being able to lift something and hold it in the air without much leverage is far more impressive than just throwing something.
I don't know how you can't see legendary godzilla's skin was burnt from mechagodzilla's laser. I had to have used that scene 4 times in this vid.
Also Heisei Godzilla was able to handle lasers multiple times more powerful than his own throughout the series with him being able to handle his own atomic breath 10,000 times more powerful in Godzilla vs Biollante.
And SpaceGodzilla being a cell that survived a black hole and was showered in the power of multiple supernovas was overloaded by Heisei Godzilla and completely destroyed.
This isn't some random statement in a book or novel, this is from the movie itself.
👍 I think it's a shame that the video has come out now, I would have found it more useful if they included the new film, a few things would probably change. I think the video here will be out of date in a few days. at least if, as said in the video, you don't take power scaling into account.
I don't really think it will be out of date, since the difference in power from any monster after MechaGodzilla 2 is so great I don't think even if Legendary Godzilla got 20 times more powerful that he could stand a chance.
Probably his newer form would work against him, since in his 2021 form he could use his weight as an advantage, but a much thinner Godzilla would be harder to do much of anything and would be pushed around a lot more.

Not really because the older godzilla has been out for multiple years, so any information about him has had the test of time already.
And I don't really think his power up would really affect his performance against the monsters.
Next video could heisei godzilla survived the monsterverse
If lendary Godzilla was in his accurate 390 meters then he could easily kill all the monsters but i see why he was put at 128 meters so that he don’t end up stepping on them
Legendary Godzilla is 119 meters tall. Most monsters in the Heisei era are 120 meters tall or taller.
What drugs are you on? Even godzilla earth isn't 390 meters.
How did Heisei have plot armor against Destoroyah???
Heisei Godzilla's power was ever growing due to his internal core breaking down.
Similar to in Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla where Heisei Godzilla gets more powerful and uses his red spiral heat ray.
This plot armor is also shown when Destoroyah completely absorbs Godzilla's energy, yet Godzilla instantly recovers.
For some reason, I think they’re not gonna add destroyah because he’s already been pretty used and is very underrated with his mint strength and feats I prefer that he just keeps destroyer in the hesiei erah and not legendary, I prefer they actually add a new kaiju that’s stronger than Shimo but it would be cool still to see destroyah I hope they add gorgorosauruse
Well possibly could but not quite
Can you do what is minus one was in the legendary era? If you have time
He's getting destroyed, he's half legendarys height
Loses to Kong with beast glove
If we apply scaling, then the Legendary Godzilla will not be able to defeat the likes of Battra Larva and will completely die in the fight against the adult Battra. Rodan will defeat him. Only Mothra Larva and possibly Godzilla Jr. can clearly lose to him. although, Godzilla Jr. has a better beam and it can harm Legendary Godzilla
By the way, about the plot armor. According to various media reports, Godzilla simply cannot die from gunfire. It is often described as almost invulnerable. This can only be said about the fight with Mechagodzilla where he actually actually died. moguera should also technically be called plot armor since without it Godzilla loses to SpaceGodzilla. With Destoroyah there was no plot armor, just a low-impact Godzilla in battle. If you look at the scale, Godzilla is virtually invulnerable and even if he loses in battle. Mechagodzilla was rather an exception. Moguera can kill Godzilla too like Mechagodzilla, but more fast
Can you do one with the millennium era.
How about some other scenarios for Legendary?
Evoluted form in GXK
Burning form in KOTM(pernament)
His burning form was a mix of his energy going crazy, plus mothra's energy. I don't think he could have used his nuclear pulses without Mothra.
His evolved form is stated to have more capacity, which doesn't mean his atomic breath is more powerful. Either way he has not shown to be able to handle his own atomic breath, which Heisei Godzilla has and more, yet he was easily beaten by MechaGodzilla 2.
So I don't see the point in rehashing the same thing since the outcome will be exactly the same, whether or not the fight is longer.
