14:50 Ahashimas second effect only works if you activate an xyz monsters effect that detaches material to use. You can NOT pop a spell/trap if you Toad negate since that effect does not detach material. Toads Standby Effect however does.
Have you considered Necromiror? It’s pretty solid removal going second, it recycles itself, and it’s less expensive than photomiror since you only have to pay 3k LP instead of 5k
i have had blinged out gishkis forever and was going to buy all the spright stuff the day the list dropped. I havent tested so i have no idea how it plays without elf. needed this
I'm curious to hear what your siding patterns are for this deck. I've only recently picked up Spright (and wasn't aware of siding patterns when I played Gishki) so I'm a little in the dark on what you want to keep in/take out vs matchups.
Ever seen jschlatt? You kinda look like him. Anyway, in all ygo seriousness. I find your build to be good but there are some alterations id make. For my build, instead of commiting 2 extra deck pieces and 3 main deck slots to an omni, i decided to run 1 vampire retainer and 1 vampire domination, which works quite well and allows for more ED choices.
Your build definitely needs work. Not to be an ass or anything I just don’t agree with a lot of your choices / ratios. Not playing aquamirror cycle blows my mind as it’s staple for the grind game, not playing foolish goods to maximize focused mirror also is a question. No iblee lock?
Gishki spright can't afford too many slow cards like aqua mirror cycle. Playing foolish burial goods to make a card like focused aquamirror is not all that consistent. Your opening hand to be able to do anything with the deck would need to consist of; 1 spright card (excluding smashers), grimness (and/or focused aqua mirror) and either vision/shadow and or the gishki ritual. The combo takes about 3-4 cards to have a chance in the format. Aquamirror cycle is a card that is too slow to compete with the current meta and by the time you would get to resolve the cycle, the game is most likely over by then. And if you draw the iblee it's a whole other train wreck waiting to happen.
@@PapaGoatYGO i agree. The sheer advantage of 2/3 card combos are the main advantages of running this deck. Foolish burial goods doesnt work in the deck. Not sure what cycle does.
Photomirror is better for going 1st which is what this deck wants to do since it lets you bring out a Manas without tributing a monster. I'd say Nekromirror is better for going 2nd as a boardbreaker type card and somewhere down the road I could see it in a Blind 2nd build.

@@PapaGoatYGO i would side an iblee though for those branded or swordsoul matchups
Is there an argument for Nekromirror over photomirror in the main?
