I can't believe I was lucked out, scorring these Velociti Flow at Ross for $45!!!! Lovely colors combo. The only problem is I wished they had carried 1/2 size bigger but I can live...

That’s a killer deal on that shoe!

It’s a solid shoe. Great upper and it’s more durable than one would think with the lack of rubber. I agree with you and think it would be great for speed sessions and would trust it up to a half marathon. I’d want something softer beyond that.

I’m with you. I really like this shoe. I just don’t like the price for what it’s giving me. For what I got them for, they are an absolute steal. I’ll definitely use this shoe a lot in coming weeks. But I’ll use these as a trainer rather than a racer. I’m looking forward to see how they perform at marathon pace for a long run.
I think they need some more stack height to go for a full marathon. Looks like they might have done that with the V2 of this shoe.

I just picked up the velocity wind 2 last week. $58, to be honest....I'm rather impressed. I'm sure these are even better. Very natural footstrike like you stated. And with that it put my quads to work a bit more which gave these beat up calves a break. The outsole/midsole is grippier than expected.

We’ll see how these treat me over some more runs. It’s definitely a good shoe that I enjoy running in. But $250 for these is way too much. On sale, these are really solid. But competition for the big boys they are not.
