- Cheap and slow travel on a Philippines Roro. A great experience that should be done at least once if visiting the country.
This trip took us from San Andres Port Catanduanes to Legazpi Port Alby Bicol.
Nice video! takes me back around 20 years ago when I rode one of these bad boys to virac from tabaco. Vendors at the port sell food and... Bonamine! Remembered it well because we went out just before a typhoon and the ride was a roller coaster because of rough seas, thought we were gonna die lol. They packed these ships with the trucks and buses down there thought were gonna sink but the crew said they help stabilize the ship as they are top heavy. Good times.

I was a ride that i have immergency before from MATNOG TO SURIGAO my hometown, it is a big wave that i feel dessy.
its a cheap ferry...try super ferry or 2go very modern...even supercat ferries are sophisticated

I still remember the maharlika 1 it was the best ferry boat but sadly it sank.
Sana makabili ang RSL ng bagong ferry boat. Sobrang luma na at sirain na mga ferry nila. Hindi na komportableng sakyan lalo na pagtumirik sa kalagitnaan ng dagat. Malaking abala sa mga pasahero nila.
Inters island country like PH need more modern types of sea transpo badly.

If you're a good swimmer, yes. LOL! A lot of methods of transportation around the islands are slow, but fun for the adventuring spirit. When you're there, you kind of forget about all the risk involved.

This is not an old ferry. This is the daily/ ordinary transportation from island to island. If you from the riding a fancy ship in Philippines it's their day to day life .
