the tutorial was helpful but the server isnt always online if there no one on the server the server close and to re open it you need to do it yourself

You also have Minehut, for plugins, every1 can open them if no1 is on, you can add infinite plugins, the servers are showed up on a list on their main server. You can go up to 2 free server's of 10 players /e
to be honest i was a little scared going on this random sight and doing all that wierd stuff, im just so happy it worked, but how do i become like the moderator so i can go into creative and all that other stuff
the problem is: someone with server access has to manually start the server. with minehut anyone can start the server (but its more limited)
You can send you friends access to activate it

._. Cant you just join each other on Minecraft like add each other and then play on multiplayer-
On java it's more of a hassle to play multiplayer and on bedrock it would mean the other could join when the host is online

Yes you have to manually turn the server on which is one of the cons of using aternos
Is there a time limit and that server will no longer work after expiry date and then u have to pay?
the only problem with aternos is u have to “turn the server on” but my players have different time zones so i just got a realm

Aternos is decent but it has too much starter lag when u start u can barely break blocks properly and every time u turn the server on u have the same problem for about 5 to 10 minutes

bro we know but like its not 24/7 only if playeres in on the server but when no one is in the server there will be 5 mins then the server shut down and i have to open it again

A tip for the people, the server will be super laggy if its free. I have tried out Atarnos many times and with only two players online on my good pc and good internett it still is laggy as hell. The world take a long time to render. So its basicly impossible to get it to work proparly with little lag for free.
so cap i play with my friend always and its never laggy or it dont take long to render you just have a shitty pc then mate
bro u can make the server ppl range from 1 to 10000
and btw aternos also has premade and preconfigered mods/plugins
but aternos server closes automatic once theres no one for 6 mins and once its disconnected u need to power it up again when u want to play and im so lazy to do that

when I join the server from aternos with my friend, we only have like 1 chunk render distance, my settings are at 13 and his are different too. Is this the server and if so how can I change it?
the problem with aternos is that if your offline for more than 5 minutes the server auto stops

But what If you need 10GB ram server for java with a modpack that uses 8GB of ram and you need the other 5GB for good preference with 10 players on it
I have been using this for a year and I have HATED it because if no one joins for 5 minutes, it turns off, meaning you have to help get anyone who wants to play, on.
for me theres like a timer untill it ends for me it was 5 minutes and i could not join and i was not whitelisted on my server

You can make a free minecraft server (ish) with the click of a button. It's not aternos, it's not apex, not anything and it's also in vanilla minecraft. And it's called open to LAN. Basically what this does is use your computer as a ''server'' then, if you have a friend or someone you want to play with, (assuming your own the same network) you can join in the multiplayer button. But, the only problem is this only works for versions 1.3 and above, but i'm preety sure you'd be using that. Now, what if your friend isn't on the same network? Differnet country? You can solve it by using Hamichi. What it does is make their network and your netowkr be ''one'' network to trick the computer in thinking that their in the same network and you can play! Now I know that there's the server.jar and hosting sites, etc but it think this is one of the easiest ways to start a server.

so recently i got betrayed by a whole server i got accused of abusing cmds when i wasnt and i had proof the owner saw the proof but did nothing i literally built the server for the owner but i still got banned i built spawn i built pvp arena i built server wide xp farm its just sad.
