Mr. Warikoo, there are few things that you have said here with survivorship bias which I think can misguide someone who isn't going to Hindu college or can't go to the US for their masters. HOWEVER, thank you so much for putting it in every 20 something person's head that a loan is not their parent's responsibility & taking a loan just to take admission in random college abroad isn't worth it.

This is only if you are sure about repaying your loan back! I understand the risk but I think one should do the math himself/ herself!
I think your video was made keeping in mind some specific job prospects. As an individual considering a job as a counseling therapist, I cannot do away with the opportunity of studying in a university, even if it's a mediocre one because I NEED certain qualifications to be a practicing therapist and those can't be obtained without going to college, obviously I have good enough grades and extra co-curricular activities to get into a college of choice, however, there are not many options for the course I want to do. now, I am not talking about universities with general degrees in psychology, I am talking about colleges offering specific courses that I wish to take up, and those colleges are very few in number, so, even if the college I wish to go to does not have a very high ranking, in terms of my course specifically, its the best. so, I hope you keep things like this in mind before telling people that just because the college you want to go to does not have a high ranking, it's better if you don't attend it.

You said that "Don't attach your loan to anyone else (including parents)" , is that logically correct because when you go to any bank for your educational loan, you have to submit every asset that your parents own and you are (very) dependent on your parents. So how you (as a dependent being) going to convince the bank regarding the consequences of taking loan is up to you and not your parents .
