Mage needs one more big spell. Just doesn't feel like big spell mage with only two spells. I wish they'd bring back Rune of Archmage or Pyroblast or something.
I just played 20 games of the Big Spell deck, and when it hits, it really hits, but when it misses it really misses. I went 12/8 for a 60% win rate, and it feels like there are either not enough spells, or too many "draw a spell" cards. There are 6 cards to draw a spell, and two of them are spells themselves, so that really makes it 6 cards to draw a spell and 4 spells in the deck. I often found myself having Watercolor Artists, Surfalopods, and Under the Seas that didn't do anything.
I think maybe replacing some of those cards would help the deck out immensely. The new Robocaller (draw 3 cards of specific costs) looks like it might synergize a little better, seeing as you can play it to draw specific cards you need. Or maybe the mage location, just to get some small spells in hand to cast while waiting for your combos. Or even maybe the other mage weapon for some big minion combos. The deck has a lot of potential though!
Also Warshack, I'd love to see (just for fun) a COIN MAGE!! This new tourist set seems like it could make for some crazy rng mage decks with lots of coins and aggro!
EDIT: I went back and played it some more after typing this comment and ended up Legend, 27 wins, 10 losses, for a 73% win rate.
Thank you so much for doing this video , it is hard to figure out fast which decks are good when a new expansion or a new mini set drops

We need the new lightshow mage featuring Rogue Tourist!
Maybe you can include Lightshow in Big Spell Mage, kind-of a dead card but you get to recast it with Conniving Conman, Tidepool Pupil and The Galactic Projection Orb which can be recasted for more value out of your spells
If you wanna climb ranks play pirate DH, it punishes the new mage deck hard that everyone is playing right now. I’ve made a couple changes to the standard list slotting in zephyrus for extra face damage reach and the 2 mana 4/4 priest card.
Played a different variation of the new big spell mage with Rogue tourist. It was a banger. 3-0 so far. Lots of fun high rolling big spells. Might try your version tomorrow.

Big Spell Mage looks juicy
A better painlock deck, and in fact the one I'm running, uses symphony of sins instead of party planner vona, I believe it to be way more consistent finding lethal. Also running one less copy of juggler for the trogg gemtosser, yet again finds lethal in funny situations
Praying this doesn't get buffed, this Mage deck is so much fun.

Would not play Tsunami Mage on the ladder, , there is way to much aggro on the ladder that smokes this deck by turn 4 or 5
Flood Paly and painlock need a hard nerv, both of them. Both decks are just plain stupid.
