    I am trying to decide on Holley Sniper EFI or the FiTech for my Pontiac engine. FiTech is a few hundred cheaper.
    I going to run a external fuel pump. I run one now for my Holley 770 carb.
    Good job on the FiTech install. 👍

      Thanks! That’s the main reason I went with fitech, I read a bunch of reviews and got concerned about some of the negative ones but a lot of them seem to be wiring issues like I had with my tach signal, I’ve got no complains about the fitech!

    The white wire from fitech did u connect it to red wire that gose to distributer

      Yes I tied it straight into the distributor wire cuz I was having a hard time finding a ignition source that stayed on during cranking

    Will this set up work with a factory intake? And do you know if the scope will fit right?

      It should bolt up just fine to a factory intake, the scoop fit except the fuel lines came into the back of the throttle body so I ended up cutting 2 channels in the scoop base and am using a smaller air filter to clear it but fitnent and location wise it sits where it did with the carb

    What do you expect your total investment into the EFI TA will be when the car is completely done?

    • @hodgepodgegarage3911
      @hodgepodgegarage3911  2 года назад

      You mean into the overall car or just the efi install?

    • @tr3vorb438

      @@hodgepodgegarage3911 The overall car project. Just wondering if you have anything in mind.

      @@tr3vorb438 oh yikes lol that’s a hard number to calculate, I paid 900$ for the shell of the car 5 years ago since then I bought 3 parts cars totaling 4600$ I’ve got probably around 2000$ just in the interior and gauges, goodness knows how much in just trim pieces, the vintage air kit was 1900$ the efi was 850$ but I’ve also sold a ton of stuff like I said I had 3 parts cars and what I didn’t use I sold or is in my storage shed, so honestly I have no idea if I were to guess taking into account stuff I’ve sold I’d say somewhere around 8000$ maybe? Lol I could be way off cuz it’s been a 5 year process lol
