for the longest time I didn't even want to live. So lost I walked a low plato for so long I always find it ironic when I think I'm at bottom and I fall further, or when I feel things are getting better just enough so I can fall again. But I have found Humility and Humble pie is a good food to supplement you'r daily bread.I find things are easier when I remember his way not mine.

God is the ONLY being in the universe that give you any kind of hope and will NEVER leave you or forsake you! Those of you who are thinking about a boyfriend or girlfriend to this song really need to realize that God is the only one who will never disapoint you... NO ONE can EVER give you that kind of love! I need prayer right now... I don't want to give up but I feel like I'm not doing enough, even so Jesus is enough. Galations 2:16 and 2:21 made me realise the truth, but I still need to put feet to my faith. I am just in a trial and a valley, though I believe my God is greater. I need the holy spirit to guide me but I feel like I'm not strong enough. Prayer is powerful. Someone please intercede for me.

I hope you are in a better place now. I understand how you feel and what you are going through. It is a constant battle with the mind. Sometimes, when everything is chaotic especially in my head, I will just cry out to the Lord and just rest. Spend alone time with Him and do absolutely nothing. I usually turn on worship music and just imagine resting on His lap or in His embrace and let Him speak to me like that.
Be still and know He is God, your Father in Heaven, the Lord of your life, and Savior, Redeemer. He will revive you and lift you up. Just wait on Him, spend your quiet times like that just waiting and listening to Him. Get quiet and quiet your soul and mind and heart to hear the Lord. Or if this is a period where you need more, you may want to get quiet and read the Word or some devotionals and let the Holy Spirit guide you to the Word and just listen for His Word and also get encouraged by others who have gone through it and came out with a revelation. Sometimes nothing feels or seems relevant but the Lord is always faithful.
Just see what brings you to peace though. Sometimes, I cannot read the Word, or watch sermons, or even listen to worship. I just have to shut it all out and ask the Lord to minister to me in that place, complete silence.
If you feel like nothing is good enough, do not be afraid to challenge that feeling or thought. If you do not combat it with truth, it will beat you down more so I would even speak truth to myself aloud. "I can do nothing on my own but through and in Christ all things are possible for me, who loves the Lord, and whose mind is set on Him and Him alone; and I thank You the Lord, thank You Father God, because You have made a way for me to come broken so You can make me whole and You will do it and are doing it and will complete Your work of art that is me by Your Holy Spirit...I am being perfected, I do not have to be perfect. Only Jesus was perfect. And I thank You Lord that You give me the will and the resolve and the love and humility to live this life You paid for to the glory, honor and praise of Your Name..." And speak those kinds of things out loud and boldly and worship and praise God while declaring those things.
Sometimes, it starts with just speaking truth over yourself. Speaking what the Father is speaking. We do not walk by feelings but by faith so speak faith. Pray for the bread you need daily to walk and grow in faith. The Lord will answer these prayers cuz they are according to His will.
I hope that helps. You might know this already but sometimes we need the reminder. I know I do. But keep on trekking cuz the Lord is always faithful. You will get out of these valleys and stay out one day. The TRUTH sets us free.
But also remember that that valleys are also there to help smooth, shape, mold, and sharpen us so we look more like Him. If you bear fruit, He will prune more so that you bear more and finer fruits. So worship in the valleys cuz you gonna look more like Him after. Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!

Everyday I have to pray God gives me the power and the courage to give it all up to Him. It is not just a one day thing, it is a moment by moment realization that I am powerless, we all are powerless in this world, and I need to let God take control. If i do, I will mess it up for sure but I am solidified in my belief that He takes care of me, even when I am not looking. Praise God!
Used to come here, and debate I think with this Nick Morrison. There was another guy, but I can't remember his name. For months we would go back and forth, and it wasn't until years later that I came to a realization. It is that we shouldn't be debating with those who won't even consider the truth of what we have. For Jesus said, "And if anyone does not receive you or if they do not listen to your words, shake the dust off of your feet." And I realized that, even after all the explanations and arguments, these people are convinced they are right. And words over RUclips aren't going to do anything for them. So the Holy Spirit is in charge, now. Let Him deal with it, if they won't listen, then they aren't our concern anymore. Instead, love them. Maybe our example and our demonstration of love will change the world. Because love changes everything, God's love, especially.
I've dealt with Nick Morrison as well. He really ticked me off, but you are totally right. I gave up on him and just let God take over. Now I'm back here and I haven't seen a single trace of him. Hallelujah brother!

As Christians, we are called to share the gospel and live life in a way to prove the gospel. Our mandate is not to convince others. Our lifestyles are supposed to do that for us. That's why it's so important for Christians to be very self aware as not to set examples that would deter others from Christ. And, if we are truly saved, the hilt spirit lives in us and causes a desire in us to live that type of life.

It is! I love it very much because it speak of me and my walk with God. God is such a wonderful person that who would I be without Him. I would be no one.
Don't lose hope though. God does care and he is more than happy to accept a lost sheep back into his home. I was like you once. I didn't find anything happy or good in my life that could keep me going. I just wanted to give up with this whole life, but then I volunteered at a bible camp that I've been volunteering at for quite a while. I found so much joy this past summer in volunteering at my church. It may not mean much, but I'll pray that God gives you the joy he has given me.

Strange that this and More are the only two Matthew West songs I know. But to me they go together lock step and side by side. Somehow I heard of them together at the same time and treasure them both. I don't know any others. But THESE are what I needed to hear. And I did, they guided me to a different perspective on my own life. God's grace works in some insanely mysterious ways. But to learn that You Are Everything isn't as well known as More....it's an odd and new sensation....

I know the Bible is true, so many bible prophesies have been fulfilled. Life has tough but God didn't say life was going to be easy, being a Christian is hard but God is with you the whole way and you God gives you that peace and support that keeps you going. God is the only way.

Before I read the bible, I learned everything from God. After I learned from God, I started to read bible and the bible is right because God told me. I don't care if you believe in God or Jesus. God does not show himself plainly to us, but rather, in what goes on around us. Open your eyes and look for the good things in life. All good things come from God. Often times we are blind to what God has given us, however we must look upon the people, things, words and actions that make us happy and know that they come from God who loves us! Don't think that just because we pray everyday, we are worthy enough to see God face to face. There is more than prayer that we must do to be made worthy.

I used to be a Christian, and I prayed every single damn day for him to reveal himself to me. I asked him to show me himself. I tried talking to him, but it was only then I realized, I was talking to nothing.. I was praying to what? Something that doesn't exist.. I asked WHO to show himself to me? No one because he never showed himself to me, nor did I ever hear him.
My brother will be performing this for my wedding this Sunday. My financè picked it out and I'm so excited. :)
