I actually loved OS mockups for a long time, and i can assure, this is by far the biggest and most realistic OS mockups video i've ever seen! Continue the great job, ChromathicAeternus!
You've probably seen this ad infinitum by now, but happy birthday Chromatic! Some great mockups and sounds throughout, and I'm glad my server partnered to help with this episode's production!
Hello, everyone. I am xanogionOSM, and I participated in this collab. I also participated in SectorWire's Operating System Mockups #16 "The Micron Den" collab a few months ago. I hope you enjoy this collab in 10 days. I am just as excited as you are.
P.S. My mockups are: 4:38 - Windows Codename Betelgeuse 7:09 - Windows Project: Beryllium 8:47 - Vanura OS RTM 14:16 - Codename Tropical Paradise 21:47 - Windows Monaco 47:54 - Windows Codename Labyrinth 51:32 - Windows Hawaii
This is truly an amazing 2 hour long experience and I love every OS, especially Windows Tranqulity's return, and I am curious about the names for ultra far future operating systems
It’s been months since I have seen you, I used to be the one that got most of the ideas for your OS videos. And I’m planning to go back to the OSM community
These are the most amazing mockups collab I ever seen! Also, thank you for adding me in this OSM collab series! And also one more thing... Happy birthday, Chromatic! Here's the link I made: ruclips.net/user/postUgkxDBKWt0NEtxV6sCZJaIU38Gp7ZTgRUWMz
(1:01) - First mistake is August 10ᵗʰ, now it’s July 2ᵗʰ? Why is it called that? (6:00) - We just saw a small glimpse of the Sakura II bootscreen. (6:14) - Sakura II and Antechicago couldn’t transition properly. (8:47) - Not only did Sakura II show up for a tiny iota bit, but Vanura OS is also in it. (8:49) - Microsoft Neon, why is it glitched, if it were in the early 2010s? Also, happy 18ᵗʰ birthday, ChromaticAeternus!
1. ??? 2. render issue 3-5. unfortunately there were render glitches, and that's the best I could do to prevent it. If I rendered in AV1 it would've been much worse, trust me.
Also, at 36:43, after Circulation 5 (one of my entries btw), Windows Checkers showed up for a second, then Circulation 5 came back for a second, then back to Windows Checkers.

I do like the longer osms provided that the sounds are different. I hate it when the sounds to the osms are obnoxiously soft, low pitched, and long. I've seen too many OSMs where they heavily slow down the sounds and use that. It's boring. Good visuals mean a lot but if the sound is a slog to listen too, then no thanks. You can have some slow sounds but if the vast majority are like that then no. The ones used here were good and well done.
