Warren Buffett presides over the 2024 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting - 5/4/24
Becky is an ABSOLUTE professional. Everybody can learn from her.
who??
1:38:44 makes my heart so happy. Decades of friendship, and he still hands off questions to his best friend.
Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
@AdamTran234 I totally agree. A financial advisor can provide valuable insights and help ensure that our investment portfolios are aligned with our long-term financial goals. They have the expertise to navigate through market fluctuations and make informed decisions.
@@DonaldSutphin Please who is guiding you and how?
@@DonaldSutphin I will give this a look, thanks a bunch for sharing.
Charlie saying "Slick, yo!" at 49:30 had me rolling on the floor in laughter!!!
One of the best qualities of Warren Buffet is loving Charlie deeply without any jealousy. True friendship true love. Meetings Without Charlie is missing the best flavor.
He’s a legend, 93, still hosting the AGM, how incredible and inspiring!
Amazing tribute to Charlie, getting to see all the clips and skits was something special. Like they said they needed permission to show it on CNBC with the actors, I'm really happy they did. The humility of Warren's words as he honored his lifelong friend was just simply one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard and seen someone do. I know he did also in the letter to shareholders. Also later on when Greg said "Nothing to add" hahaha. All and all this was a great shareholders meeting, the saddest but it wasn't sad. This made me happy, I'm glad it turned out so well.
😅
Well Said! “This made me happy.”
31:00 Wonderful tribute to Charlie. Other than that, I have nothing to add.
Greg has immense respect for Warren! hats off to both!!!!
Warren Buffett is an amazing man. Hopefully we see him next year!
he looks tired.
He's still grief-stricken
This is the America that is great, Warren and Charlies represent it.
This is the saddest annual meeting in Berkshire Hathaway history in my opinion.
It is the first time we don't see Charlie Munger, and clearly Warren Buffett missed him, also somehow it feels like this may be Buffett's last when he said he hopes to be here next year, not in a confident tone.
I got a bit emotional after hearing that.
Agreed. Imagine losing someone you’re that close to and have done this event with from the start and then have to continue on without your right hand man and best friend.
Saddest but not sad, it was well done, and all things must come to an end. It's a good send off, plus Warren is still going, no need to speculate his end, for all we know his "not confident tone" is just mourning his friend. Cheers.
It's the end of an era. I've been to a few meetings, invested long term, and love these guys, but it really does feel like the end. Please Lord dont let the DEI devils and Commies get their dirty paws on this mountain.
@@FelonyVideosyou sound like a stoopid person
Agree. That was a somber moment.
It takes a lot of humility to own up to the decision on selling Paramount stocks & the shifting consumer behaviour. That's the hallmark of Warren Buffett. Hope to see him again next year !
Admitting to the actual dollar amount that was lost would provide real clarity. And what percentage of loss to the entire investment portfolio.
I think he will live up to 104 like Mrs B

Mr. Munger was a cool man , in my opinion. May he rest in PEACE. Thank you for your helpful knowledge and philosophy. Excellent!
Thank you CNBC and team. Thank you Berkshire Hathaway team, Thank you Warren. Sincerely missed Charlie Munger. There's always a lot of learn from BRK meetings.
A more somber meeting this year, especially towards the end. I’ve watched all of these since 1994 at least twice and I’ve never heard Mr. Buffett that downcast. I suppose that was to be expected following Mr. Munger’s passing but it was honestly tough to watch. Cheer up Mr. Buffett! It’s not over yet!
Imagine looking on your left hand side, a friend who comment on your words and actions for 50 years. And suddenly hes gone, with many of family members, it only make you think about when your time is coming
He is a living legend....93 years old, multi billionaire and still working that hard! Most of earning calls last 30 recorded minutes, with CEOs with a lot to prove. Instead look at Mr.Buffet, who's got nothing else to prove to anyone holding a 7-hour event, mostly answering questions! L.E.G.E.N.D!
Becky Quick, excellent interviews and coverage.
Incredible Investors… Hope the world sees another such pair in the future
Recently taking my time to watch all past videos, thanks CNBC AND BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY for us in Nigeria we have little to none knowledge about value investing as we are an emerging market. Been learning quite a lot from Charlie, Warren and most recently there apostles like Monish Pabrai. Pray Warren stays a decade more.
Just humbling to see such a great applause at the start of the presentation. Mr. Buffett created a history. He is the history.
Salute to our late Charlie, his legacy lives on!!!
Somehow, I can see that Warren has aged so much ever since the passing of Charlie. May he live as long as Charlie happily, healthily.
My hero and mentor throughout my life. Love it! Great person. God bless America! 🇺🇸
There should be a picture of Warren in the dictionary when you look up LEGEND. God bless him.
A beautiful tribute to Charlie.
Broke my heart so many times 😢
Working at 92 is hard, the job as challenging as the boss of a huge conglomerate is unimaginable. So many questions are about succession definitely wear down his spirit without Charlie to cheer him up.
Also he lost His Pillar. They did everything together. Now hes Alone. When you lose a loved one, it gets harder to do alone what you enjoyed together. Some have real mental block. Take tremendous Strength to push forward
1:38:40 😢😢😢
😢
That hit hard. Poor Charlie man. 🙏🙏
That broke my heart 💔 😢

3.45 min! It makes you realize how brilliant Warren Buffets memory is!
Excellent Mr.Buffet and team. Keep up your efforts.

The clips at the start with Charlie had me laughing out loud.
Thanks a bunch for posting you made my day
I can't believe a 61 year old is less easy to listen to than a 93 year old 😅
Amazing as always! Keep going, Warren! 🙏🏼
Warren Buffett is the goat
Man, the beginning was so sad. RiP Charlie. Must be really hard for Mr. Buffett losing his long-time partner and friend.
Just the greatest, ever.....
5:02:12 Greg, capital allocation, understands businesses extremely well, if you understand businesses, you understand common stocks.
Very kind and amazing tributes to Charlie. Very good insights from Buffett and the future leaders of Berkshire 🙌
5:09:31 Slightly better, hard to predict winners, decent results, don’t get carried away
1:38:40 💔
Warren is not able to get over the fact that Charlie isn’t there anymore 😢

Wow, Becky so out of breath. I know you have a huge job and a huge salary. I’m happy for you. Some folks will never realize what’s involved and the sacrifices both personally and otherwise it takes to get and keep a big job. Congratulations

Waiting for? 3:21:42
@30.54 Charlie Munger ❤
5:54:26 No significant personal interests in the BH ownership
Warren said one of his top 800 US companies paid 5 billion in taxes last year and if the other 799 companies did the same there would be no need for Any citizens to pay Any taxes in America.
He also hinted mention of wanting to invest right outside of America but said they would need to meet his lending agreements .
He left out the part that the 5 billion was taken away from those very taxpayers he said would not pay taxes. Berkshire can not print up money only the treasury can print money. So one way or the other the end user pays all the taxes. The consumer .
How to achieve a 50% Return 5:49:53

Question for the shareholders meeting questions….are they drinking alcohol in those meetings or is everyone just nervous or enamored with the King of stocks Mr Buffet? 😂 because they seeem a little liquored up.
Q&A starts at 1:17:50
