Manjaro's defaults are pretty good, Garuda Linux is supposedly even prettier. Try it in a vm, and copy the configs onto your own distro if you like it.

i had a similar problem when i tried to install pulseaudio. i decided to just reinstall a new version of manjaro through my bootable usb(this does mean that all files will be list if not copied before). if you have it installed als your only iso i dont know how to fix it. goodluck

Everyone has different time zone so not everyone can catch premiere. For me, I don't care if I miss the premiere as I can always watch it later when I need it.
If you have 4gb ram or less then use xfce desktop environment. If you want it to ok nice out of the box then get Zorin os Lite, it’s xfce which is customized and polished out of the box :)

OK, I installed arch linux using the command (archinstall) with xfce, many things are missing there, one of them is a folder. I solved them using the packages (xdg-user-dirs) and (xdg-user-dirs-gtk).

It generally depends on what kind of workload you expect to do on this machine - kde will be more demanding on your graphics card and but in my opinion it looks much better and i heard the newer editions use up marginally less ram than xfce. xfce is generally more lightweight so if you're aiming at maximised performance i'd say go with that one. But then again if you're watching a youtube video about making xfce beautiful you're probably not looking for maximised performance. And also keep in mind that a graphic interface doesn't really matter in terms od performance unless your computer is bottom shelf, and from what i gathered yours is medium, except for 4 gigs of ram, which i would upgrade to 8 if i was you In my personal opinion xfce is only good for two kinds of people - people who are used to it and like it because it's familiar, and people who are willing to sacrifice eye-candiness for pure performance.

Even after switching to Window Manager, I still adore xfce for its lightness and customizability.
You might want to try xfce minus xfwm & xfdesktop plus the wm of your choice.
I use xfce with i3 and I love it.

CHange Mousepad to touchpad,search the application finder
Everything is perfect except login which refused to work so in the end i just installed linux mints slick greeter and called it a day

yes, it sometimes make ram usage bigger
8 Gigs or RAM and a decent CPU can handle them easily, in most cases.
Check the end of the video, default ram usage was 500M and 580M after this setup, so yes its heavier but negligible for most cases.
