If Cry of Fear can't be remastered, I would love to see at least a remake/remaster of the Suicide modes, all 4 maps and enemies just for here. I've always enjoyed playing the Suicide maps, minus the constant lag I sometimes get or enemies going invisible. I'm surprised your gameplay didn't get hit with a hard FPS drop. Especially for the 1st map, once had Simon spawn and the FPS dropped all the way down to 10 FPS and slowly got even worse.
It's so ass when the tallers literally are camping the entrances, so you're stuck in the garden. Also sometimes you don't move when closing inventory. And then dewalt saws you Then Simon's visuals fuck you up especially when you cant see him in the bushes And screw sawcrazy
it's mainly just low framerate, i dropped to 50-30 while recording it's a hit or miss, sometimes it happens and somethimes it dosent. cry of fear is an old game and has alot of optimization issues so drops in framerate is kinda common even for high end PC's.
@@hapeb7285 I should also specify - I meant in the Suicide maps. I think its because the game is loading lots of enemies, instead of just having pre-set ones like the base game. Both Cry of Fear and Half Life had pre-set enemies, so it could very well be the reason of why the frames drop so low (As I run a GTX 1050, and get amazing framerate with base game but terrible framerate with the suicide maps.) There were a few drops in framerate with the base game though - it wasn't completely clean. Entering the Asylum I notice completely makes my game not respond and then finally cut back on (Which scares me at some points because the Forest is the absolute worst part of the game and I dont want to re-do that annoying bunker part xD) Overall, I just noticed you got a lot better framerate than I did with the suicide maps. The amount of enemies it spawns is about my only real theory on how the game can drop low on FPS. But besides that, great video!
Suicide mode is quite fun, its feels like you playing doom, but annoying and constant fps drops kills all the fun. I wish team psykallar would release some sort of optimization patch, or perhaps some enthusiasts would do something like that 😢. Its so darn annoying when you tryna kill stupid sawcrazy with 20 fps while Simon smokes your ass with his shotgun and theres tallers everywhere. Sawcrazy is actually good kind of "mini-boss" to spice up the shooting, but fighting him, as stated before, with 20-ish fps is just a pain. Simon "mini-boss" is a good idea too. Without them suicide mode would be a cakewalk. Im sure this mode is even better if you bring friends with yourself (you will suffer from low framerate and painfully high ping xd)

You're lucky since mine seems to crash almost every 7 or 8 load zones

That's a common bug with cry of fear's renderer, it occurs more frequently in the forest map if you leave too many monsters alive.

just drag it in your cry of fear folder where your sounds and model folders are located..
