I am struggling with removing the elbows from the purple ALK filter. You did this off camera. Do they just pop out? They don't seem to want to budge. Even with pliers. Any tips?
If your watching this video hoping perhaps we will talking about the system, what it has been like having the system, any opinions on the filters in general, how long they last, anything at all. TLDR It not coming.
I’ve had this system for 4 years it’s been good. Had a filter housing crack after 3 years bought a new one. The filters are rated in gallons until they need to be changed, I change about once a year even though it’s probably a little early compared to gallons used. The tank has to be pressurized 2x a year usually or the water out the spigot becomes weak. There’s a vid on RUclips that talks about correct pressure can’t remember now like 6.5lbs I think. Hope this helps
I'm on my second one, goes under the sink. Most inconvenient place ever. And they leak. They're fine when you're watching them but as soon as I'm confident and leave the house, I come home to a huge puddle under my sink and floor. I would put that thing above the sink or higher anyway so you can work on it easier..
Brilliant camera work, perfect spot to place it where we can't see anything.
Imagine unscrewing a few cannister housings but if you have one it comes with a full set of instructions. It's not rocket science..

Happy Birthday dude! About half of the time I couldn’t see what you were doing, but it got the gist…. Thanks!
I really liked the fact that you keep the tools right by your unit in a ziplock 💡 . You're brilliant sir
Happy belated birthday! Thank you for your help changing my filters.
My holding tank on my ro system isn't filling all the way and I'm not sure why. Idk if it's the tank pressure or something else
