Always love the IRISH. THrough bad days and in good; LOVE THE IRISH. Freeman has proven he is Irish. LOVE THE IRISH. The players are Irish through and through, “what though the odds be great or small...” LOVE THE IRISH.

You could tell when Notre Dame was coming out of the tunnel they were different. Even Freeman was different. He looked like a HC tonight. All the coaches did great. What a fabulous win! Clemson could not get their bearings at all. They were discombobulated. They could do nothing to adjust and improve.
Unfortunately, ND was the tale of two teams this year. I have seen teams get hot right away, and fizzle out. Also, seen teams look bad in the beginning of the season, then get hot for the last part of the season. I really hope they keep this up and improve even more. I really enjoyed seeing Freeman and the team getting all the love from the fans at the end of the game. A couple of the players looked a bit surprised by the affection and just love that they got from the fans. They absolutely deserved it though. I hope this game helps with recruiting. It definitely could not have hurt. Go Irish! ☘️ Thanks for the show guys!

This was not the game of a 6-3 team. This was one of a 9-0 team. I feel in the past three weeks the Coach has figured this team out. I now know that the man can coach. Go Irish

Combination of simplifying the offense for Pyne, using Mayer as a decoy/blocker a bit more and the O line was firing on all cylinders (top 5 type line). Secondary and LB play was light years ahead. Most importantly, the team believes in itself now. I see good things for Freeman. Recruits did too…

Gotta thank ND and LSU from eliminating 2 of the same old teams from making the playoff. The home stretch of this season is going to be fun to watch

This was like Clemson beating OSU in the 2013 season Bowl Game or Clemson beating ND in 2015 (from a big-picture standpoint). No clue how ND just chose where they could run. Outside of Georgia, I almost feel they could have their way in the run game against any other team at this point in the season.

The 60s and 70s nd teams had brutal running games too

My biggest takeaways from this MASSIVE W:
-MF saved his job for at least 3 more years with this win. BK couldn’t have won this game with Ian Book at QB, so surely this gives us confidence that MF could win with a community college QB at the helm. He was definitely on thin ice with the bad losses, but this statement win secured the rebuild for the foreseeable future.
    - This was the first game at home against a top 10 team, that I’ve seen a FULL GREEN stadium. ND fans have historically sold their tickets to the rival team, which completely embarrassed us on national television. FINALLY our fans weren’t fair weather and the team really showed out for it. GO IRISH!!
    - Lastly, this team when the defense can put up points from turnovers, could beat 8 out of the top 10 teams in the country. Seriously a transfer portal QB away from a national championship game. Extremely disappointed that the coaching staff didn’t see how terrible all three of our QBs were heading into this season. They need to loosen up the transfer portal/recruiting standards so Freeman can really recruit some dawgs to help take that next step.

@@craig420042 He was unquestionably on thin ice. You lose program low losses to Stanford and Marshall at home with what the pollsters deemed a top 5 team (they finally played like the preseason rankings last weekend), you're not going to last long in a top 3 coaching position in all of CFB. Previous coaches got a longer trial period simply due to the circumstances of the hire. Freeman took over with no coaching experience at all, in what many inside the program thought was rushed. If they lost badly to Clem, USC, or Navy.. Father Jenkins would be on the phone with Urban and Luke immediately.

Notre Dame actually seemed not just more physical but just as athletic and fast. JD Bertrand looked like a better version of a James Skaski who bothered us a few times

we run what we brung .. Notre Dame just sledge hammering ppl stating the obvious ... defense is a whole different beast from last year . one more recruiting cycle woooo

The amount of trash people talked about Notre Dame just goes to show that they are weaponized with great overall players, the coach messed up with Marshall and Stanford but he knew the assignment when it came to Cuse, UNC, and Clemson. Very proud of the Irish on this win, a year or so ago with Book or Wimbush this would've leaned closer to the Tigers but this is a new fighting Irish team that will make a statement this year and comeback even bigger and better next year.

I would venture to say Notre Dame would fit in perfect in acc if they had to join a conference

    • @stompingpeak2043

@@tomdemay6147 they are a big10 team all day. It's the region. The problem with being a big10 team is you have to face osu every year and that's tough. Along with a few other solid teams in the big. Nd has some of the players to definitely compete with anyone. We have seen them play good like this twice. Their defense is very good. Now nd just needs to improve at qb/wr to become a real power program imo.

Maddog Mike Great win against what team did you say that was??? The Good 👍 the bad Drew can't throw the ball to anyone other than Mayer the times he did throw to other recievers he over threw them because he is too short for his style of passing 16 balls batted down this year maybe he should talk to Doug Flutie

    • @seangreene8186
      @seangreene8186 2 года назад +2

His ball is too easy to bat down over the middle so they need to get him on the move and/or throw to the outside to try and combat that

Right, because Lou Holtz's teams were aerial juggernauts.
