Edit: Sorry people.. i have realized a few days ago that this is not the real bella's lullaby.. i have seen this one as the bella's lullaby in a good twilight web site and i've beliaved and downloaded it.. but now that the whole soundtrack came out, i realized that this one was not the real one.. Anyway,soon i'll post a new vid with the REALLL one.. and you'll have ways to comprove that's true by seeing the new twilight tv spots... bye

I love this piece of music. You can hear the wanting in it... like Edward lusting for Bella. And the high twinkly bits are Bella... It's so fitting. I wish this was her lullaby.

I know it's not 'river flows in you' but they're both different pieces and are both beautiful in different ways. I think either could've been used, and it just so happens that this one was picked. It's got it's own touching, eerie, melody to it. I just got back from watching the midnight showing and I thought it fit in well.

i dont know. it is simple and edward and bella's relationship seems a little like that, a little sadness, more of quiet happiness and frankly very simple and enchanting.

Really. I agree, When i read Midnight Sit talks about when Edward was writing her lullaby and this is how i pictured it to sound. It sounds the same as descirbed in Midnight Sun. I like this one 10000000x's better.

Everyone hears something different and it is highly improbable that we, including Stephenie, shall ever find a piece that is exactly what Edwards composition would sound like. It's just one of those things.
I imagined something like "river flows in you" for her. However, listening to this song, it does sound like it's meant to soothe and comfort a girl who feels so lonely. I mean, he made it for her so that she would always be able to listen to him.
He speaks through the music. Imagine being in bed and listening to this ..

I think this song is going to fit perfectly into the movie. It is a beautiful song and as jennyferromero said "unbearably sweet." I think River Flows In You was also beautiful and a perfect lullaby but I don't have any issues with this song and I am glad that it was somethign as beautiful and nothing bad. People just got their hopes up for River Flows In You.

i honestly think that this isn't the best & that river flows in you is the better choice. but yet i give very big props to carter burwell for composing this. this just doesn't really work out for me, it's something that you play when you're at a funeral but river flows in you is something deep & very passionate that seems more realistic that edward would play.
I love it. I dont care what everyone says.Its just as good as Yiruma's. I love it, and it being in twilight makes it all the better. :)

there is three versions i have heard so far of bella's lullaby, this one the one on the soundtrack that is remasterd and isnt just piano and then the one that edward himself composed just for the movie, and i think the last one is bes by far.

I agree. But if you read Cartwell's explanation it makes sense, I GUESS, he said it's SUPPOSED to reflect their intense relationship i guess... i mean the crescendo-ing part and all haha...

Okay, if I'm correct, Carter Burwell wrote the official lullaby, while Rob was going to compose it, but they ended up going with Burwell's version.
I think they just put rob's version on the soundtrack as well..
I could be wrong, but thats how I think it turned out...
This is very beautiful. I really like it. I think people should just forget River Flows in You for a moment and listen to this piece as it is intended. Granted, having said that, this is not exactly what I hear in my head, but it is beautiful nonetheless.
Let Me Sign is the song by Robert Pattinson, but is NOT Bella's Lullaby. Bella's Lullaby is by Carter Burwell and on the Twilight OST. Other variations of Bella's Lullaby (which are not) are:

River Flows In You - Yiruma
Bella's Lullaby - Carter Burwell (There's another version)
And there are MANY MANY more.

Oh wow... this is really pretty, but I just bought the soundtrack, and the one labelled Bella's Lullaby by Carter Burwell is completely different. It's the one playing at the end of that 8 minute clip.

Throughout the movie there is a very intense music that will play off and on. It's very instrumental and I can definitely make out a violin. There is no words, its just music. Anyone know what it's called? It's driving me nuts. I've listened to the soundtrack but I can't seem to find anything there that sounds like what I heard in the movie!
Nope. River Flows In You was a song that fans (myself included) hoped would in up in the soundtrack. But I like this too. :)
