I never understood why the Canadians just cheered for the wrestlers that were from Canada , doesn't matter heel or face. I never ever remember cheering for an American wrestler just because the guy he was facing a guy from Canada.....maybe I should start though, it would be a reason to watch wrestling again because god knowes WWE isn't going to give me a reason to watch.
Thats because everything is usa including 90% or more of their entertainment and culture there is so few things that Canada can be proud of so when they do have some thing canadian they take tremendous pride even the ww. The world wrestling is a american product so also looking at it like world veiw for example olimpics its our country vs yours
