This Kentucky kid, Brayden Blevins, may be the only successful wrestler in the country who doesn't need to work out. I mean, when would he? He had 73 matches during his freshman year in high school-- SEVENTY-THREE MATCHES, three seasons' worth!! And the massive mat time paid off with a 106 lb. state championship this past spring. I think we'll be hearing more from him as his sophomore season ramps up this fall. Brayden had not only that experience advantage but also a slight age advantage. I think Mason was an 8th grader when this video was made. And what a video...crisp, clear, right on the mat with the kids. Nema, thank you for your incredible professionalism in bringing wrestling right to the feet of the viewer where the complexity and drama of the sport can be so readily seen.

You're the best! Thank you as always for these incredible insights!
Great tilts. Some good instructional content from this match.
0:30 Awesome!
Wait, can you explain what happened at the end? Brayden looked like he was about to walk off the stage but Mason tried to go after him.
Awesome!
Wished to have seen better sportsmanship.
