More like this please. I get way more out of this than just watching someone paint. A lot of well explained information in a small amount of time.
I agree with you Zachary, short and to the point. So very well done Kevin, thank you .
I made every one of these mistakes on my first three paintings. Simple yet helpful video.
What a beautiful presentation you made Kevin on the composition of a perceptive because often it is difficult to see when there is too much element around our subject ... I learned a lot about the perceptive face what you explain on the right ... On the left I see the errors that sometimes I do and as we are alone in our painting studios and that we are too focused on what we do well we do not see it that it is not correct except when one began to paint ... A thousand thanks for all the beautiful advice and instructions that you share with us ... You are really a good instructor ...
Thank you so much for giving the tips! I’m a painter but haven’t in a couple of years and want to get back to it. You taught prospective very well. Just a 10 min. tutorial will help a lot of beginners and seasoned painters! I enjoy all of your videos so much, you’re a great teacher.👏🏼🎨👋🏼
Thanks Kevin. I found this very informative and helpful. 👍
Anyone who doesn't like this video just isn't *IN* to having the proper perspective on their paintings or drawings .... This is such a very informative video. Thank you Kevin for sharing your knowledge with us!!! I (We) really appreciate it!!! BTW, not trying to "flatter" you, but, just to let you know a little, I have created a playlist on my RUclips account with *only* your paintings/lessons on it. 😊
Thank you Kevin I love this way of thinking when I paint. Those are very good tips!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been working on several nature pictures; streams foliage, etc and your info has really helped. I honestly can't go outside without studying and analyzing how things look regarding highlights, depth and perspective. I am getting to work on a new one wish me luck.
This is massively helpful, thank you!
One of the hardest things to incorporate in your mind.. Thanks Kevin!
Thanks so very much for your tutorials Kevin. Your helping so much with this video and your colour mixing. Your such a great teacher. You explain everything so well
Your narration was worth listening for more sessions. Please let more.....Thank you, Kevin
Thank you so much, this short little video was so helpful for this beginner artist. I love your videos!
Thanks Sir. Awesome basic lesson.
Excellent tips! I also appreciate you explaining in easy terms and not going into painting theory.
Merci beaucoup, it make more sens now for me… very good tops and trick… Sylvie 🇨🇦
Wow, this lesson was extremely precise and soooo helpful. Your a great teacher and THank you soooo much Kevin .
Very helpful. I also learned a lot about perspective from Len Hend. As a beginner, my landscape was always from a bird's eyes perspective
Omg. I am actually working on a sketch as this was posted and I was wondering why my perspective is a little off and you explained it. Wish there was a way to post it to show you what I mean.

I love it when Kevin drops nuggets of wisdom on us...especially when it's something I'm having trouble with!
You could've made a video and posted it on your channel.
Joseph Reed Me, too! Now I can fix it and move on. Sigh of relief
Literally I’m so thankful that you doing this it’s help a lot for the beginners ❤️
Awesome explanations! Love how that you describe it to where it makes sense. Thanks. Great info. 🎨🖌💡💙💚💜🌿🌲🌾
Thank you Kevin for the exclamation of a lot of mistakes I make. This helped clear things up a lot. I will keep them in mind when I am painting. Now I will see things a different way. Thanks again.
That's a lot of help since my barns never looked quite right, now I know why! Thanks!

I LLLLOVE your videos! It's really a great learning source for me. I hope you will do painting tutorial on buildings (like venice etc). I've been struggling to paint buildings in right way.
Thanks for the tips.
6:25 I just realized that this is probably the reason why some of my paintings look so off. Thanks, this was a super helpful video for a beginning acrylic painter like me.
Extremely helpful video! Thank you so much for this!
Thanks I take everything I can. I would like to see one on tree limbs as well as evergreens

Really useful, thanks Kevin 👍
That is great lesson. I hope more like this one
SO helpful!
Thank you for reading this long message, and, thank you so very much for this lesson. Now, I know *WHY* my houses have not been looking right in my drawings or paintings ... know that about my trees, also. 😊 I really hope you have plans on putting lessons like this on DVDs. I'd surely order them when I can. Maybe, "perspective," and, "how to make pond water look real in acrylics," and multiple other "lessons" on one DVD? I do enjoy watching all your videos on RUclips, here. And, am hopefully about to purchase a few of your acrylic painting videos. I have to watch my spending each month because I'm on disability payments, and, have bills to pay. Have been saving for quite awhile to get the videos I'm going to get - will even get a few (eventually all of them) of your oil painting videos, too. 😁 I forget if you've mentioned it before, but, is it alright to use a substance like "baby oil" to clean the oil paints from your brushes? Or, do you have any suggestions as to what's best to use? Thank you in advance for answering my question(s).
Sincerely,
Curtrice Hertlein

Thank you so much ♥️.
Very helpful thanks
more about perspectives on landscape please.
Watching as much videos about perspective. I got really good at painting portraits and painting things after taking a picture OR painting them from life..but when it came to making my own scene/composition with no predetermined perspective from life or a photo...the image fell flat...So here I am watching lol...
Thanks, man!👏🏻

I have a stream and am told it looks like it is going uphill. I honestly did not see it until my painting group on Facebook corrected my error. I just don't know how to fix it.

Good
Kevin is that you playing the guitar in the intro?
nice
I saw your baby photo you have a lovely family
I wonder if you use any medium or secant? because when I use this technique wet-to-wet, the colors mix and embel a lot, it turns a mess of colors.
He explained that in one of his recent acrylic painting. I forgot which, you have to watch them ;)
I want to know if he uses medium, drying in oil paint, in video with acrylic paint, he talks about acrylic paint.
😍😍😍😍😍I'm from Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
🤲👍🇧🇷
Will I ever grasp the concepts of painting? I'm so frustrated. This is like math to me. I just can't grasp it no matter which artist I watch. 😩
I sometimes wonder how your voice sounds in real life.
That was so helpful, thank-you!
