Jack White has had some amazing musicians backing him up, but these dudes take the cake.
Absolutely. Saw them a few weeks ago and this band is sooo darn tight, it almost hurts. However, part of me wants Jack to sing with Ruby Amanfu forever. And I loved the violin lady of the Peacocks!

I have no idea what motivates and drives JW but I am grateful for it because he sure doesn’t rest on his laurels. He just keeps exploring, improving and changing! There’s almost nothing he can’t do musically. He does Rockers and Ballads equally well!
Most people would be satisfied with just what he achieved with the White Stripes but not JW.
He keeps expanding, growing and improving musically, I’d say! He’s not done and I’m glad he isn’t.
After Nirvanas demise and White Stripes were over, I thought Rock was dead. But it’s still alive and kicking thanks to JW.
He also practically single handedly brought back vinyl LP production when it was almost gone like the Bison 🦬 in America. Now LPs are back and with better quality than ever!
Thanks to JW and his investment in Third Man Records in Nashville. The only LP production plant going in America. JW brought it back! Even Cassettes are making a comeback along with CDs!💿 I myself still buy and own CDs and still like Cassettes. I prefer to own a hard copy of the music I buy.
All that downloading is fine but it’s not a real item. It’s just digital sound files that you can’t touch or hold in your hand. In other words, it’s not real!

This is not exactly my wheelhouse of listening but this guy is amazing and that drummer owns that kit! I would have to make a bold statement and say from all the crap the radio plays and what appears popular online that Jack is almost single handily keeping rock alive and even elevating and evolving it. As I said, not totally my every day listen to stuff but big respect and props for what he and his more than capable band are doing!! Hope he keeps it up, he is special.
Totally agree. He's the only one keeping it alive and fresh right now. He's taking risks, pushing the boundaries and for the most part succeeding. This live band he's put together are brilliant, too. So glad we have Jack. I really appreciate him and his band so much.

In the past, this would never be in my wheelhouse for music. I'm a 72 year old prog rock lover, Genesis etc., I love Steely Dan, but after seeing Jack on SNL a few times I thought, give him a listen, and he's my go to now for everyday and gym music. I'm totally hooked. I think Jack is the savior of modern music.

i think jack has let the industry form his music. I miss the old days of kick, snare. its not as simple as it was. and that was what made it great! JS. i get it he wants to be more technical/creative. but jack, you can never get back to the stripes. please don't play icky without MEG!

I love the man but these newer songs are really forgettable.
He really needs to fire his stylist and then fire at his ex-stylist! They've taken Jack White who was a national treasure of weirdness and talent and made him look like the in-between of a backstreet boy and a long wall or embankment built to prevent flooding from the sea.
