That’s smart to batch those out on the CNC! I don’t have a CNC (yet), so my mind instantly turns to more complicated ways of doing things, but this is a cool CNC project idea!
Very cool. I was thinking of something similar lit with LED lights (possibly that changes) and with some more specific interest faces on them.. which will be awesome for when I get the CNC you guys gave me up and running lol (it is getting there, am working the table top at the moment). Cheers, Rob M. New Zealand
Fun stuff! I sold a handful of these last christmas, but the market here is flooded for Halloween. I saw a local guy selling similar ones for under $10 on FB marketplace this week. 😢 Time to find a different money maker for my CNC!
Fun stuff and a great little craft project! I bet those will sell well!
They seem to be doing pretty well!
Brilliant work, Bruce! Beautiful lanterns!!! 😃
I love those kinds of projects!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Appreciate it! These are just kind of fun
Always fun to snag a simple project win from time to time. Relaxing. Looks good.
Thank you! Yeah, I like a good, quick win.
They look great! Great job Bruce! The faces are a great application for your OneFinity!
Thank you! It knocked it out fast!
Great video!
Thanks so much!
Nice production style project 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼👍🏻💪🏼
That’s the mentality I was taking. I think I made 14 total in the first batch.
Such a fun idea and they came out great!
Thanks, Ethan! Halloween is just around the corner
What? You do a podcast? I'll have to check that out. I hope you discuss these little fellas on there!
You never know! Ha ha
Those turned out great!
Thanks, bud!

Thank you! Yeah, if you can do multiples, it’s always a good idea.
They came out great Bruce!
Thanks, Mike!

Thanks, Rob! That would be cool with different faces.
I’m both confused and emboldened by your crosscut without the use of some fancy crosscut sled. Great video BTW. My palette is sufficiently cleansed. 😊
Ha ha ha. Love the use of words! I still need to make a crosscut sled for this saw. Thanks for watching!
Those look great, Bruce! I have wanted to try them but just haven’t had the time.
Thank you! You’ve been a little busy with your move. ;)
@@BruceAUlrich just a tidge!
Now I see how you line these up on the CNC - cool! What’s the cut time on one picket worth of faces?
I wanna say about 15 min. Maybe a little less.
When you said palette cleanser I was really hoping you’d use a pallet… missed opportunity for a great pun there Bruce.
Ha ha. I hate using those things. I used pallets a lot years ago. But you’re right, missed opportunity for a good pun.
So no base? You just pop an LED tea light under? Neat little project, Bruce!
Yep! You got it. It’s a box with no bottom so you just set it on the tea light. Thank you!
@@BruceAUlrich Actively considering "stealing" this idea... Though I would not go the CNC route. I might even look for a (gasp) pallet... 😆
Go for it!
Love the video - thanks for always putting out great content!
What type of CNC are you using?
Hey thanks, Ed! I have the OneFinity CNC Woodworker. It’s a nice machine.
@@BruceAUlrich Thank you - I'll check it out!
Love how the lanterns turned out, Bruce! Were you able to sell any from the roadside stand you set up? - Joe
Thank you! Just a couple

That’s crazy cheap! He’s barely above cost. I don’t know how he’s making money.
@@BruceAUlrich my thoughts exactly. It must be a hobby for him and he does not care about profits.
What wood do you use
@scottglesmer137 Cedar fence pickets
good video bro! :D
Thanks, dude!
Great music
Thanks so much!
