    That’s smart to batch those out on the CNC! I don’t have a CNC (yet), so my mind instantly turns to more complicated ways of doing things, but this is a cool CNC project idea!

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! Yeah, if you can do multiples, it’s always a good idea.

    Very cool. I was thinking of something similar lit with LED lights (possibly that changes) and with some more specific interest faces on them.. which will be awesome for when I get the CNC you guys gave me up and running lol (it is getting there, am working the table top at the moment). Cheers, Rob M. New Zealand

      Thanks, Rob! That would be cool with different faces.

    I’m both confused and emboldened by your crosscut without the use of some fancy crosscut sled. Great video BTW. My palette is sufficiently cleansed. 😊

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад

      Ha ha ha. Love the use of words! I still need to make a crosscut sled for this saw. Thanks for watching!

    Now I see how you line these up on the CNC - cool! What’s the cut time on one picket worth of faces?

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад

      I wanna say about 15 min. Maybe a little less.

  • @Hatchmade

    When you said palette cleanser I was really hoping you’d use a pallet… missed opportunity for a great pun there Bruce.

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад

      Ha ha. I hate using those things. I used pallets a lot years ago. But you’re right, missed opportunity for a good pun.

  • @Wordsnwood

    So no base? You just pop an LED tea light under? Neat little project, Bruce!

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад +1

      Yep! You got it. It’s a box with no bottom so you just set it on the tea light. Thank you!

      @@BruceAUlrich Actively considering "stealing" this idea... Though I would not go the CNC route. I might even look for a (gasp) pallet... 😆

    Fun stuff! I sold a handful of these last christmas, but the market here is flooded for Halloween. I saw a local guy selling similar ones for under $10 on FB marketplace this week. 😢 Time to find a different money maker for my CNC!

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 года назад +1
