How the tables have turned… Starting with Davis being the one in the testing room to him now up in the observation area watching. Davis has definitely earned a lot of trust from the foundation over the years. Hopefully that trust will be of good use to him if he ever gets into any serious trouble.. But sadly I doubt it’ll mean much once/if they find out that his son is also an SCP

Though safe is a relative term with all the 001 testings and occasional containment breaches. Would be interesting if Markus and Davis relationship would have an impact on their powers. More for Markus since his is more physical than Davis in terms of actually using his powers. Though Davis power might have a different reaction to Markus' too. I love how they're there for each other since the only family they have is each other. Really hope they can stay that way if both of them really need to be taken back into containment. If they lose Cain they have a problem there not sure if losing Cain or losing Davis is worse. Also if Marcus was told Davis got hurt if Marcus was put in containment and Davis wasn't I could see him completely losing control to get to Davis and if it was the other way round where Davis heard Marcus got hurt in containment Davis would go in a complet rage and kill everyone to get to Marcus

Pushing him to not want to ask for back up or put the mission on hold worried that they would take away the deal. Killed himself after Harkman was killed and Marcus saw his body leading him to torchered the butler for messing up his day with Marcus and then just doing everything he could to make Macrus' time with him amazing and fun. Miranda may have caused Davis to snap at her because she was just saying bad stuff about him to his face bit now Davis is rasing him the best he can. I think Marcus doesn't want Davis to get involved in dealing with Darren is because he knows Davis is protective and will do everything for him so he would be worried if Davis will hurt Darren or cause Darren to maybe say bad stuff about Davis causing Davis to get in trouble maybe even Darren's parents becoming a pain.

And he’s been raising him the best he can so she has absolutely no say in this anymore. I love how Davis and Markus balance each other out in a way too. For those that don’t know Cain when inflicted with direct contact will bring that action onto whomever is responsible for it originally. For example if you punch him in the face you yourself will feel the punch you thrown at him. However he still feels pain from the attack but will not sustain any damage. This ability is effective against guns, grenades and other weapons of the sort. Which makes me question why he isn’t able to withstand attacks from Scp-001 -A instances.
perhaps it has found a way to harm him through not physically harming him but through infecting him and doing damage from the inside that is my theory as his ability would count it as a part of him. As such not redirect the damage that is the only possible answer I can come up other than it is the specific special thing to do with this one instance of SCP-001-A that they had mentioned but refused to elaborate on.
As far as I know SCP 001 is able to negate anomalous abilities. There was a story where not even the Shy Guy (SCP 096)could withstand it and his skeleton is durable af.

Ok so SCP 001-A is evolving to the point it knows when the target cant be changed and kills them but the thing is if it kills Davis on contact it sends him back to the beginning of the day so he can always escape it unless it can force him to go through REM before killing him keeping him in a loop.
This is stupid. Why would the foundation do this? You're just making the creature more powerful, Unless their is having davis reset and tell then what happens
