I think reassembling skeleton has a place in the morbid deck if you get the sacrifice cards. Repeatable sacrifice fodder is always nice to have around.
New lovely Angels :D if it weren't for some kind of a oath, this Set would bring me back in buying cards once again :D Nice breakdown, Nizzahon! As always, you highlight the context in which those cards will be used, which is obviously fundamental.
Yeah the last four sets barley even felt like MTG, the golden years are behind us I'm afraid, atleast this isn't, cowboys, detectives or modern horror.
Halena n Alaina (sorry if spelled wrong) is the best Rare for RG, it buffs any target 2/2 to a 4/4 with haste so it helps with the power 4 or greater mechanic.
Now that I think about it, I was hoping that this being a core set, it would keyword a few "staple" effects that are otherwise commonplace or at least recurring, stuff like looting (draw and discard), rummaging (discard and draw) and possibly the red pseudo-draw (exile to cast). That would make it way easier for new players to understand the common jargon - you actually use the term "loot" in your videos, for instance.
The exile to draw wouldn't really work since you have some types of that effect (eg. Exile and may cast until end of this turn, until end of your next turn, until end of the next turn) but yeah I agree with the general idea
I've seen in other games that basically keyword everything, and that ends up being MORE confusing for new players, exactly the opposite of what you want for a core set.
Keywording some of these effects is far less simple than you make it sound. Rummage: Is discarding part of the cost, or part of the effect? Flicker: Does the exiled card return immediately, at end of turn, or some other time? Drain: Do you gain life equal to the life lost, or the total life lost by all players?
I hope not, for Limited at least. I think White is busted as crazy in every sense, but Red is just OK. GW or BW seem more poweful to me than RW. Blue on the other side seems awful, because not having any "strategy" except for drawing a second card each turn, which is not good unless you have the rare enablers or things like Tatyova, makes the worst color by far
Definitely agree, but I like how it gives me more cards for constructed. Also the challenge of prerelease is fun for me. But I can imagine draft gets boring real quick

I love the Boros archetype review :)
In the brief time it took Nizzahon to explain the Boros archetype I played two Boros games.
you are aggro player?
@@friendlyshadow6857why do you ask

Thanks for the vids and effort again Nizzahon, looking forward to the drafts
I always look forward to these videos
Excited for this draft! The most magic magic might be for a while. But that said, I'm excited for next year anyway!

They aren't in play boosters, so that's why I didn't mention them.
Izzet++. I didn’t know they reprinted Balmor. Nice. The wizard guy that makes flying tokens is good.
I think cats, angels and dragons decks could be a nice possibility and maybe goblins and elfs
Fantastic guide bro.

Flicker
Bounce
Drain (gain x opponent loses x)
Are a few I would like to see
Nah we shouldn't keyword everything

Gruul got a rock on its signpost uncommon. As in A Charlie Brown Halloween. "I got a rock."
Is it just me, or would Garruk’s uprising on a creature be super busted?
Imagine if outcast trailblazer also gave creatures trample, that card would be broken
Hooray for another boros aggro set.
>_>

@@Controlqueen31 different coat of paint on the same problem, too many playpieces for aggro for anything fancy to be playable for people below 130IQ
The archetypes in magic have gotten beyond stale. The laziest being the green red 4 power shit. Every set feels the same now

I mean, this set in particular intentionally uses stale archetypes, to be fair.
Based on your guides, I don't think I'm going to be drafting much of Foundations. It's just a bit too basic.
it's literally the "Foundation", you know ....
