    Russell Stannard directions are easy to understand because he takes his time. He speaks clearly and does not rushed which makes his presentation obtainable for the beginner. He also offers Advanced instruction for those who are ready to move on to more advanced information. EXCELLENT PRESENTATION !!!

    Great video! Question: can I have multiple breakouts use diff padlets for group work in the same workshop?

    • @ttvRussell

      Yes, but you would need to go into each breakout room and share the link to the padlet for that group.

    Thank you Russell. I love your teaching on use of Padlet. You make it look so easy. In my country, Fiji, ICT in teaching is very new. I followed quite easily until after I copied the link on the clipboard because I couldn't find the clipboard. What did I not do correctly?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад

      Iva, once you have copied the link, you need to paste it somewhere. Normally you paste it to the students so that they can access the need. They need the link to access the padlet and write on it.

    Hi Russell, what privacy setting should I use if I am using google classroom? Many thanks! Fab videos as usual. You are so clear and easy to follow.

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад +1

      You will need to make the Padlets public. Since you are sharing them to specific groups in Google Classroom that should be fine. You might like this video, It focuse on Padlet online www.teachertrainingvideos.com/copying_online

    how do you do to see the names of your sts when they write on padlet? I've already started using it, and I love it!! Thanks a lot for your tutorial!

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад +1

      Thanks, Sandra. As students are not usually signed in to Padlet, they just access it using a link, names are not automatically added to posts. Students would need to be asked to add their name either in the title or in the text of their post. If they uploaded a photo of some writing they had done their name could be on the piece of writing or added as text next to the photo.

    Thanks a lot for giving us this tool that adds the dimension of engagement and interaction to our online classes. One question: Does it mean that the more you use Padlet, the more padlets you are given?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад

      I don't think so but you can save a Padlet as an image and then delete it or you can archive them and that way you have access to more. Glad the video was useful Christian. You might like this www.teachertrainingvideos.com/flipgrid_tutorial

    Another question for you--have you used Padlet for student presentations? They're usually about 3-5 minutes long.

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 года назад +1

      Yes, you can use it for that. Students can create their own padlets and then present them to the the class. I have tended to get the students to work in small groups and make their padlets together. They can even present them online using Zoom or Google Meet
