I had the privilege to spend the night with the Girl Scouts n Brownies Troop. Had an awesome time. We slept in a bunk. Felt so claustrophobic sleeping on the bottom bunk. The kids thought there were ghosts of past deceased seamen on board as there was a storm that night we stayed. The kids never stopped eating s’mores n other goodies. Some never slept. We had the entire ship to ourselves. A memorable experience.

Gotta check out the Japanese Garden near the park by Mobile Museum of Art and Munucipal Park in West Mobile. They had a giant lillipad garden, bamboo garden, lots of famous koi Fish in all colors that would follow you as you walk along the pond. Very beautiful. Had walkway and benches. It’s a must see for a nature lover and it’s FREE and donations are optional. Must see the museum as well, I was so impressed with the artworks and was better than some of the ones I’ve been to in bigger cities. They even had a kids section at the museum. They had all sorts of art categories . I’m no expert but I was in Awe of their collection - local artist, modern, classics, African American, Asian Chinese, tapestry and quilts, woodworks n chairs, textile art etc. museum tickets were cheap and they offer students n other discounts.

Oh my last year we were starving after a ball we attended to. Sad that many restaurants closed early during at night during Mardi Gras n didn’t want no McDonald’s. We waited over an hour in the drive through at Whataburger . We were Like mad with hunger lol. The wait was worth it and damn it was delicious. We devoured those Hamburgers and fries. Sooo delicious!!!!! Went to Whataburger off Government street closest one to downtown Mobile. Probably the original one
