    When I started making a castle I started with designing the outer walls, and when I was making the battlements I used stone brick walls instead of stairs for the Machicolations because I found it lets you fire over as well as under.

    its been a year but i still use parts of this video when building castles, you inspired my intrest in medievil minecraft.

    Well I for one think that it is interesting without being garish. I love the little details like drainage and arrow slits. Also, bravo with the upside down stairs in-between the crenels, marvelous! I used fences, but this looks much better! Looking forward to the rest!
    Oh. And have you settled on a name?

      Apologies for the late response. Thank you for the compliments! :) It took a little effort to figure out that design but the upside down stair was perfectly! And you will find out in the next video what the name of the castle will be...

    me and my friend are making a mideaval server using mods (will be using epic Knights which i used your vid to learn) and i might make this castle in it. it wont use deepslate cuz we are using older version
