First I thought Cosworth twin cam Ford Siera engine...easy 500 hp..Very hard to tell with all that bling and other things...Tidy job they did with it..Triumph eater got me thinking...European....Alfa.?..BMW.?..Fiat.?..I'd bet it would be a real fun ride in it.
What brand of wheels are those on Les's Capri? They looked like a 4 bolt pattern. Would those fit on a TR6? And speaking of 'turbos", a friend of mine has '67 GT6 with a 2.5 ltr TR6 motor and it is breathing through a Garret turbo. It is a street car but he used to race out at Riverside, CA years ago and blow off 911's all day long. He had it set up by Kas Kasners shop in LA back in the '70s. It is undergoing a resto right now as it hasn't been running for over 30 years. As far as he knows, it is the only turbo GT6 ever put together by the Kas-Man.
this car screams for more negative offset on the rims, looks like its at -25mm if not less on the back. it needs -50 ish. same goes up front. look at racing capris in example. the 1973 broadspeed capri is perfect, turbo era zakspeed capri were all over the place. this is a good arch/wheel fit. rscapris.co.uk/RS3100Wheel2.jpg i will not mention those side pipes and rear lights. serious 80's bad taste zone. would look better with pinto/cougar rear lights.
This is a beautiful vehicle, but the finish is terrible! (Very American.) I do not know that Americans can spitzenmässig tune, but nice to paint a car that they get not go easy! * wink * Still .. I think the car a total of really very successful! * Fat * Like!
I think most people would agree with him. Why keep the stock interior when it's so hideous and then spoil the original look of the rear with those abominations being used as tail lights? A lot of people looking at this car are also biased because the versions built in their countries(mine included)had much better looking interiors. For a Brit or Aussie Capri fan it's a little hard to look at.
nice build man , always been a huge fan of the euro Capri , these cars are pulling the "big bucks" in the UK now
Shes a Beauty, i luv the interior..thanks for sharing
I make fun of it Kenny, but I do like it. Actually, pretty comfortable to sit in.
Sweet!!!
+Rodder Files the interior is so uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Davey SpookyFan its retro cool man lol
Agree.Interior is horrible.
Tail lights are an issue too.
Some black leather and standerd bk lights and that would look 👌🏼

We will take it for a rip once it gets warmer and returns from the paint shop Martin. Cheers, Tush
Beautiful looking motor (except for the rear lights) -- shame it hasn't got a V6 in it. :(
nice car like to hear it run
Will get some video of it running and driving later in the Spring. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The non-leather seats on the Mercedes 300SL were also covered in plaid. Is he going to have it painted a dead beige to go with the seats? :-)
Nice reminds me of mine a bit lol :)

Hi Jerry, I believe they are BBS rims. They might be the same bolt pattern but they are only 14 inch diameter...too small for the TR6.
cheftush OK, thanks Tush.
Yeah buddy I ain't no fuord guy but that was nice
need a modified capri
Just don't Like the tail light's...Sorry,but its your car!!Not mine!!
Yes I've got 2 mk1's and I prefer stock tail lights. Parts are getting scarse, so if you get bumped or they get broken you're stuffed.
these wheel arches need to be filled properly. this is a capri, not a LTD.
Would you prefer smaller tires? What are you getting at?

Do you have one for sale?
are you looking for a restored car or a project car?
I'm looking for a 72/73 that Still runs and no rust
Something I can drive but improve as I go.
@@ericjankowski2161 I had a 1972 V6 from 1974 until 1978 - LOL on the no rust wish!

The interior is stock...thanks for the nice comments.
